I went today and got Santino and Beth Phoenix. I have no real need for Beth Phoenix, but the Santino is awesome.
It astonishes me how much worse the Jakks Santino is, lol.

Grabbed some figs at tru today and got 10 bucks of my purchase of $40 or more. Picked up #249 of 1000 big show, HBK/Y2J 2 pack and the World heavyweight title belt. All came to 35 and change after tax.
The title belt is cool. The strap material is wicked thin but it looks great. The center plate looks tremendous. The back of the belt is a felt material.
Sweet that I got a 1 of 1000. Its a cool feeling to find something like that.

I picked up an Entrance Greats Triple H tonight. I was passing on it for the past week and a half but decided to jump the gun and get it tonight. Very glad I did, as this is an awesome figure. Excellent accessories and of course the music feature is so damn cool. I was thinking on my way home just how much more fun collecting has become. I've never been so damn excited to walk into a TRU or Target before. Very cool stuff.

Got a suprise by receiving my first WWE Mattel figure today. Got the Wal-Mart exclusive 1 of 1000 Stone Cold Steve Austin, with the Leather Title Belt. #974 of 1000 it said.

Went, saw an conquered my first ever WWE Mattel search. I was so excited to go into TRU an see them. They had all of the Elites, Tag-Teams Series 1, Entrance Greats, an the Boxed Set. They had no regular singles or pegs for them which I thought was kinda weird.
I got the HBK Y2J 2-Pack along with biting on the Series One boxed set. It just seemed too good to pass up staring at me. I was going to keep the boxed set MIB but opted not to because really theres no point as selling them isnt really something Im planning on. These are great figures and I have not been this excited about action figures since Classic Superstars first began.

First post...really liking this forum. Not to brag, but I've literally found everything that's available except for the Series 2 2-Packs. My area usually gets shafted when it comes to new figures, but I guess this was my lucky day. The first Target I hit, I picked up an Elite Series CM Punk (I have the complete set coming from RSC, but wanted to have an extra Punk to keep one carded.) and a Heritage Series 1/1000 Stone Cold. My second Target, I got 2 purple Jerichos (one to keep carded), the Jericho/Michaels 2-Pack, Evan Bourne, and Kofi Kingston. For the first round of basic figures, those are the only ones I wanted. Now I just need to wait for Elite 2.

Double post... went out today and got the other 3 repaint figures at the same Target I got the Jericho (thanks to this forum for teaching me of their existence). It was almost like the variants were the only basic figures this store even got. Also went ahead and picked up Legacy and Glamorella 2-Packs

I mean, there are a few good figures, but the missed detail, lack of accuracy, and just plain bad figures from Jakks in 2009 brought the year down as a whole. Anyways, over the last 3 days, I got: 2pks HBK/Jericho Sig Series John Cena Elite Undertaker Elite CM Punk Elite Rey Mysterio Entrance Greats Triple H WM Heritage Stone Cold Steve Austin WM Heritage Edge [0312/1000] Need Kofi, and I have all the different guys that I want from the first official wave of Mattel figures.

Went to TRU today and they hadn't taken down the '$10 off $40' sale sign yet, so I picked up:
2-Packs Santino & Beth
1 of 1000 Cena
Elite Punk
I've taken Santino and Punk out of the packaging to look at them quickly, they're great. I'll check out the other two later tonight. Still really impressed by Mattel!

Regarding that deal, I was there yesterday and there was a guy buying figures at the same time as me stating that yesterday was the last day of that sale. I asked cashier about it as I was debating on a few items, and she said the sale was until Saturday. I picked up the Shawn/Jericho, Legacy, and Punk Elite figures. They didn't restock any of the Basics (but did put out that 6 figure exclusive boxed set) so no luck on finding any new 1/1000 figures.

I got my Elite Punk and Rey through the mail today, took an extra day or two because of the snow.
They're really good, just thing the kneepads on Punk limit the bend in his legs.
Also, there's two paint smudges on the Elite Punk, one on the back of his leg, and one on the back of his head, looks like i'll need to get some pain to cover them.

After much debate and seeing the figures shown on the site I bought a few today. I havent bought a wrestling figure in 2-3 years and maybe longer because I really dont know the last one I bought. Even though I stopped collecting I still came on the site now and then because I always enjoyed seeing the protos for the new figures comming out. So today I went out and picked up Stone Cold and Elite Undertaker. First off these figures are AWESOME! If Jakks continues to be lazy with the UFC line I may end up collecting Mattel. Now I dont really watch alot of wrestling anymore and tune into Raw every now and then so I may just collect Classics. The funny thing is the first wrestling figures I ever got from Jakks where BCA Taker and Austin and it ended up being the same first two I bought from Mattel.
Edit- Was just messing around with them and the only problem I have had is Takers ankles are loose, I have heared others complain about loose joints to. It really isnt that big of a deal because I dont play with my figures anymore and it stands fine.
