Kurt Angle vs Chris Benoit-Royal Rumble 2003
what a savage encounter.even if Steiner/HHH had been any good it would have had one hell of a time following this superb effort.

The Rock vs Ken Shamrock - King of the Ring 1998 Final.
Yeah, it was the last match I watched before turning it off. Because I gotta actually be able to sit down and watch the HIAC and WWF Championship matches.

Billy Kidman VS Matt Hardy, No Way Out '03.
Kidman was great back here, sadly Matt Hardy's never been a guy that I've found interesting at all...

As for me, funny you should mention Piper, 'cos I watched some matches off of his WWE 'Born To Controversy' DVD, and will always look fondly at his Dog Collar Match against Greg Valentine, Starrcade '83...Brutal.

Okay, so this match may not be deemed 'classic' by any stretch, but last night I viewed the BluRay DVD that came with SVR'09 on PS3, called 'Best Of Smackdown VS Raw'.
Ric Flair/Shawn Michaels VS Edge/Hawkins/Ryder/Chavo, Smackdown, March '08.
It was a Steel Cage match, and nothing more than a match to heighten the feud between 'Taker and Edge leading into WM24...Chavo was appalling, in every sense of the word...absolutely appalling....
