Bret Hart vs the 123 Kid from the Raw anniv DVD-great match Definitely a great match, awesome stuff. Continuing with the Hart-theme, I watched one of my favourite matches ever - Bret VS Owen at WMX. RIP Owen.

Not wanting to disappoint, I recently viewed Bret Hart VS Roddy Piper, WM8. Great match as well...

As we seem to be continuing a theme here Joker, the Bret Hart DVD has a match between Bret and Owen (with Davey Boy and Neidhart in their respective corners) from White Plains NJ, for a show called 'Action Zone' or something...A great match there too, eh?

"The Macho Man" Randy Savage (c) vs. "The Living Legend" Bruno Sammartino
Intercontinental Championship -- Boston Garden, 01/03/87
**/*****
This match is a sight for sore eyes. Sammartino is way past his prime at this point (but still incredibly over with the crowds), and the heel Savage is trying to make it work by taking his hits like he would a freight train. Through some bad guy sheenanigans, Savage manages to turn the tide and does his best to try and introduce some high-flying moves to the mix, which the old school Bruno does not respond well to. The match ends in a disqualification when Bruno refuses to let go of his bear hug on the champion. That was a cool finish, got Bruno back over as the badass rugged face, and kept Macho's rise going without an embarassing loss on his record.
Overall, the clashing styles did NOT mix, and if this is what we have to look forward to when the now 60+ year old Flair returns to the ring very soon in 2009, I shudder at the thought. Vince should've learned his lesson in 1987: keep the legends out of active competition.

Just finished watching Ultimate Warrior vs. Randy Savage from WrestleMania VII on Youtube. Both Warrior's and Savage's attires were freakin' awesome! I think i may make custom figures of both now Rated R NinJa That was an amazing match, especially considering that Warrior was involved. The post match storyline and Savage's "The Kingdom of the Madness is split in half" interview was awesome too.

Just watched the Bret v. Lefitte bout from RAW 95' on WWE Classics On Demand. Good bout ... Bret Hart was very good at selling, that's part of what makes his matches so great.
