Just watched The Rock vs. Mankind in an "I Quit" match at Royal Rumble 1999. I love the part when The Rock rung the ring bell on the back and front of Mankind's head and proceeds to sing "Bells will be ringing" ;D God... I miss The Rock Rated R NinJa

Hulk Hogan (C) vs. Yokozuna King of the Ring 1993 -- June 14, 1993
A decent enough match that set out to "prove" whether or not Hulk Hogan's win over Yokozuna months ago at WrestleMania IX was a fluke or not. (In reality, it was backstage politicking.)
A gaunt, almost sickly looking Hogan puts on his usual fare with the giant five hundred and fifty plus pound monster Yokozuna, who is one of my top heels of all time, and Yoko comes out on top looking like the devestating beast he is.
Shannigans around the win aside (flash photography gone wrong) this was your standard Hogan title defense that ended a lot differently and gave the new champ a huge rub on his way up.

Again, not really 'Classic', but the matches that Eddie Guerrero and Chris Benoit had at WMXX...Great stuff, both of them.

Shawn Michaels VS Mankind - Mind Games '96...
Amazing match, especially in Philly at the time, what with ECW growing in infamy...

Fair enough mate, I see what you mean, my train of thought was merely focused on the fact that it was only 5 years ago; that's all. The quality of both matches is not in question, just to be clear. Thanks mate

HBK vs. Bret Hart from Survivor Series '92. It gets overshadowed by their WM meeting and The Montreal Screwjob but it was a very good match, especially the 2nd half.

hulk hogan vs. Vader - superbrawl 5
I really only got into hogans matches mostly when they were against Vader and Macho Man. Those two seem to have brought out the best of hogan

HBK vs Sid at Survivor Series 96. I still have to wonder at the logic of giving Sid the belt and not Vader
