- Good job on the Slammy Awards on RAW, maybe now that that is over, we can all move on towards your ECW episode, and seeing what you have in store for us now since it pretty much looks like at the 2010 Royal Rumble PPV, that for the ECW Championship it will be Jack Swagger defending his title against Rey Mysterio
- CM Punk winning Superstar Of The Year was predictable, my man Orton should have been up for Superstar Of The Year, Orton deserves it especially after the way he made his return at Armageddon as the masked man attacking Jeff for months, when nobody thought about Orton returning or exactly where & when that was going to happen and just when everybody seems to forget the Viper, that is when he strikes.
- HHH & Benjamin & Swagger, the best champion out of those three in my opinion, I would have to say right now is the World Heavyweight Champion Shelton Benjamin and Shelton will retain his WHC Title at the Rumble against whomever Stephanie & Vickie put in front of him because he is The Gold Standard and there ain't no stoppin him
- Kane & MVP both in the Rumble match, that was predictable, hopefully during the Rumble match they last long
- Mr. McMahonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn, Vinceeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee he's backkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk and he's bad, badder than ever, Vince I love Vince, and hopefully he's the Vince McMahon of old, the Attitude-Era type Vince

WWE RAW: Monday 21st December 2009...Pretty decent opening promo with Triple H in the ring to celebrate his reign as WWE Champion continue. Jack Swagger's interruption actually gets the ECW Championship into things, and gets ECW recognised, which is very good. Eric Bischoff making a six man tag team match tonight is intriguing. Hmm, I feel that a Slammy Award should have been given out here, personally. Or before the opening contest. Alright, a good third match in the Best of Seven Series for the WWE United States Championship, but not too much a fan of it being here on the Slammy Awards RAW. Tyler Black winning on RAW however instantly boosts his potential, though; in what I believe is his debut on this show. Cryme Tyme and Kelly Kelly addressing the Breakout Star of the Year is odd; would have preferred these three for Tag Team of the Year, honestly. Gail Kim, Natalya and Maryse beating Mickie James, Katie Lea Burchill and Beth Phoenix is different, but a nice decision to say the least. Hmm, again; Goldust and Yoshi Tatsu announcing Diva of the Year is odd, again. I think you should have made better choices, totally honest with you. Natalya as Diva of the Year is great news, though. Jeff Hardy and Bryan Danielson...good but way too soon for Danielson to be appearing on RAW. He would have been deteriorated by the reaction for Jeff Hardy, and being this is RAW; he'd have jobbed pretty quickly. Not a good match for first hour main event it seems. Kofi Kingston beating Elijah Burke is fine; not too bad a match but Edge attacking Kofi...hmm. Not sure where Burke fits in here, but I definitely know Edge and Kingston's business isn't through yet. Chris Jericho announcing Oh My God Moment of the Year is alright, Shelton Benjamin, the World Heavyweight Champion winning comes as no surprise. John Cena beating Ted Dibiase is a fine second-hour main event, very sweet and I liked Dibiase cheating to win this one as it boosts him well. Decent idea for the New Hart Foundation to become Tag Team of the Year; but yeah, Rey Mysterio as the presenter was odd. Really dislike that this tag team tournament has gone for so many weeks just for The Miz and Dolph Ziggler to interfere in the finals. Bad ending, really; and both challenging teams are heels which adds to things. A bad execution here of a good concept, I hope to see something happen regarding a face team challenging for the belts instead. Big Show presenting Match of the Year is once again strange but nevermind. Randy Orton and CM Punk from The Bash getting the win is good. CM Punk being given the Superstar of the Year spot by Vince McMahon was great; however I expected some sort of angle to span from it for some reason. Hope to see Vince involved on the Road to WrestleMania XXVI. Lastly, a pretty good main event six man win for Batista, CM Punk and Rey Mysterio. It was a great show as a whole, enjoyable; though some booking decisions were baffling.

This is very entertaining and original with the pushes for new and usual stars. Rumble is looking good. Always helps when it seems like anyone can win. Looking froward to it.

-Like the opening and Jack Swagger's big fish in a small pond quote. Love the new main event. -I see Black winning the Best of Series now. He's had a fantastic build and I wouldn't be shocked to see him take the strap. -Swagger winning Breakout Star and the Heel Divas Winning are both superb. -Danielson vs. Hardy looks like a great match. I'd prefer you give him the Daniel Bryan name but still that's a good win for Hardy. -Fine for Ted to beat Cena. Would've preferred an interference but still the eye rake does it right? -Not happy about Punk getting two slammies and some other great stars such as Hardy, Cena, Y2J, Edge not getting any for real. -Superstar of the Year being CM Punk was ok I guess. He did earn it. But would've liked to see someone else. -Fantastic main event here. Good win for Batista, Mysterio, and..Superstar of the Year....CM Punk!!!!!!! -Great long detailed RAW.

- Huge main event and a solid way to continue all three feuds - Black taking the 2-1 lead is solid - Swagger winning breakout star makes a ton of sense - Nattie as diva of the year is nice, and I wish she was booked more like this in real life - Danielson versus Hardy was a nice swerve, and Hardy coming out on top makes most sense - I love Orton coming out to ruin the celebration post match - Edge causing Kofi to win for DQ was solid - Shelton winning OMG Moment was good - I LOVE Ted going over Cena, brilliant - Hart Foundation winning best tag team is nice - Perfectly Awesome causing the no contest is good in my book - Punk/Orton wining match of the year is nice - I love punk getting superstar of the year - The challengers coming out on top in the main event was the right decision

ECW 12/22/09 Preview-Last week on ECW, we witnessed the return of former ECW Champion, Kevin Thorn. He joined the Elimination Chase and eliminated Tommy Dreamer. That leaves tonight's main event to feature Rey Mysterio vs. Matt Hardy vs. Kevin Thorn. The two men who don't lose will face off in a singles match next week, with the winner of that advancing to face the 2009 Breakout Superstar of the Year, Jack Swagger at the Royal Rumble for the ECW Championship! -Since his debut on ECW, Bryan Danielson has been on a bit of a roll. He even put on a good show against Jeff Hardy last night on Raw. His only real problem has been an issue with the World Tag Team Champions, Perfectly Awesome. Tonight, the Champs will face Danielson and Tommy Dreamer in non-title action. Plus, Theodore Long will have information regarding the World Tag Team Titles after the controversial ending to the Tournament last night. -Last week, Zack Ryder picked up a victory over Yoshi Tatsu and caught the eye of Television Champion The Hurricane. He then attacked Hurricane and has expressed his thoughts on a Television Title shot. He won't get that shot tonight, but he will face the Hurricane in a Royal Rumble qualifying match! Tune into the Sci-Fi Network for all of this and more at 9:00PM!

- For ECW, I hope to hell that Rey Mysterio and Kevin Thorn eliminate Matt Hardy from the Elimination Chase, then that way it is Thorn vs. Mysterio one-on-one to determine who faces ECW Champion Jack Swagger at the 2010 Royal Rumble, I for one want Kevin Thorn to beat Mysterio and go on to the Rumble to face Swagger as I want to see power vs. power and see how those 2 monsters Swagger & Thorn match up against each other
- The Hurricane vs. Zack Ryder for the ECW Television Championship, you know Ryder will beat him to become champion, that is an almost guarantee
- Danielson I want to see Danielson being put over a lot, man, I mean he's a future World Champion in the making, just on the cusp of main-event, and he deserves to become ECW Champion, and you better make that soon, or have Danielson win MITB and cash it in on either the WWE Champion or on the World Heavyweight Champion to further cement his status as a main eventer

Raw, huge Main Event, and I wonder who will team with Punk and Batista. Tyler Black taking the lead in the Best of Seven Series is good, but as I have said before, I hope Morrison comes out on top. I am happy that you gave the Breakout Award to Jack Swagger. I'm glad the Raw divas won here as Natalya is on the team, and even better, she gets the DOTY Award, fantastic! Jeff Hardy over Bryan Danielson makes sense as Hardy needs momentum running into his feud with Randy Orton and Bryan Danielson isn't really worth much at the moment. I like the DQ victory for Kingston as it doesn't hurt either man, and it gets the Kingston/Edge feud over. Good idea to have Benjamin win the OMG Award as it further elevates his Championship run, and he definitely needs some crediblity. Defeating Jericho this Friday would be a huge step towards achieving that crediblity. Great Armageddon rematch here, and DiBiase going over makes sense as he lost at the PPV. A good choice of TTOTY with The New Hart Foundation, definitely worthy winners. Should be a great Tag Title match on SmackDown. A good No COntest ruling while getting Perfectly Awesome over after not winning TTOTY. I can't recall the Punk/Orton encounter at The Bash, might have to check back for that one, but I'm sure it was a good match, I can imagine good chemistry between the two. CM Punk is a very good choice of SOTY after losing his World Heavyweight Championship at Armageddon. The Main Event was great, and I'm glad they won the match as it's good to have the contenders pick up the victory. Great Raw, I look forward to the Royal Rumble.
Speaking of the Royal Rumble, I'll have those graphics to you this week.

December 22nd, 2009 Amway Arena in Orlando, Florida Attendance: 15,740
As usual, ECW opens with a video package highlighting the events of last week. This showed Tommy Dreamer getting eliminated from the Elimination Chase, leaving Rey Mysterio, Matt Hardy and Kevin Thorn as the final three.Todd Grisham and Byron Saxton welcome the sold-out crowd to tonight’s edition of ECW. They promote the big Triple Threat main event match, which is part of the Elimination Chase. They remind us that Perfectly Awesome will be in non-title action against Bryan Danielson & Tommy Dreamer, and we’ll also see The Hurricane take on Zack Ryder in a Royal Rumble Qualifying match. We are joined by Mr. Kennedy to open the show. He gets in the ring and the microphone comes down from the ceiling. He opens his promo by talking about qualifying for the Royal Rumble last week. He states that he made his return last year at the Rumble and while he was unsuccessful, that won’t be the case this year. He says that after a rough start to 2009 in which he lost the Royal Rumble, didn’t get into Money in the Bank and lost his one shot to win the briefcase, he got drafted to ECW. That proved to be the difference maker in his career as he is now a two time ECW Champion and things are looking up. Winning the Royal Rumble will be the next step he takes in his career. Because after that, he will go on to main event WrestleMania and win the WWE Championship. Because 2010 will be the year of Mr. KENNEDYYYY…KENNEDYYY! Commercial Break.
Tag Team Match The Colons vs. Goldust & Yoshi TatsuThis was a fairly competitive match and it was rather friendly since it was between two face teams. Carlito had other plans though as he was rather aggressive throughout. He even tagged himself in by slapping Primo on the back with force. In the end, Tatsu pinned Primo after hitting a stiff kick to the head. Winners: Goldust & Yoshi Tatsu (6:29) **½After the match, Carlito didn’t even want to look at his younger brother. Instead of helping him up, he just left up the ramp with a disappointed look on his face.
We now go to the back where Angela Fong is standing by with Zack Ryder and Courtney. Shes asks about Ryder’s attack on Hurricane last week. Ryder said that the attack was all about making a statement on ECW. While his victories continue to pile up, he decided to get noticed and he did so by taking out the Television Champion, which he’ll do again tonight and again when he gets the title shot he deserves. Commercial Break.
Non-Title Match [Royal Rumble Qualifier] Television Champion The Hurricane vs. Zack Ryder w/ CourtneyThese two went back and forth throughout the match, and Ryder was getting frustrated that nothing he did seemed to be able to put away the Television Champion. He went for the Zack Attack but Hurricane held onto the top rope to block it. He then picked up Ryder and hooked him for a chokeslam. Before he could lift Ryder, he blocked it, got behind him and rolled him up with a handful of tights for the win. Winner: Zack Ryder (7:34) **½
Commercial Break.Theodore Long is shown in his office as we return, but a knock is heard and in steps the ECW Champion Jack Swagger. Swagger tells Long that he’s wasting time with the whole Elimination Chase because the winner will just set themselves up for disappointment at the Royal Rumble. Long tells him that there are three former ECW Champions in the Elimination Chase and both Matt Hardy and Rey Mysterio have beaten him before. Swagger dislikes this and barged out of the room.
We now go to a dark room with red lighting. The Brood is shown in there and Hade Vansen and Paradox seem to be worshipping Kevin Thorn. Thorn thanks them for being loyal servants while he was away and he promises to rule ECW once again, very soon.
Bryan Danielson is shown knocking on a locker room. He enters and shakes hands with Tommy Dreamer. He says it is an honor to team with him tonight. Dreamer says that they both dislike Perfectly Awesome and it’ll be a pleasure to beat them tonight.Commercial Break.
Non-Title Tag Team Match Bryan Danielson & Tommy Dreamer vs. World Tag Team Champions Perfectly AwesomeDanielson continues to put on some very good matches since his debut and this was no different. Perfectly Awesome worked over Dreamer for the most part, but once Danielson got the tag he came in and began to clean house. Eventually, he hooked Ziggler into the Cattle Mutilation and Dreamer stopped the Miz from breaking it up. Ziggler had no choice but to tap out. Winners: Bryan Danielson & Tommy Dreamer (10:21) ***After the match, Theodore Long came out and announced that he and Eric Bischoff have made a decision regarding the World Tag Team Title picture. This Monday on Raw, Perfectly Awesome will defend the belts against Legacy and the British Alliance. But, now that they've lost to Danielson and Dreamer, they've agreed to add them to the match, making it a Fatal Four Way Tag match! The crowd likes the sound of that.Commercial Break. In the back, The Colon brothers are shown arguing. Primo demands to know why Carlito would just leave him hurt in the middle of the ring. Carlito says he wouldn’t have to if Primo would stop getting pinned. Primo storms off upset as Carlito mutters something in Spanish.
An advertisement for the Royal Rumble is shown, as well as the Raw Rebound following the Slammy Award Special.
Now, Jack Swagger is shown walking towards the arena for commentary during the main event. He has the ECW Title on his shoulder and the Breakout Superstar of the Year Slammy in his hand.Commercial Break.
Elimination Chase Triple Threat Match Kevin Thorn w/ The Brood vs. Matt Hardy vs. Rey MysterioJust like last week, this was a competitive battle. Swagger provided some good commentary as he gave out reasons why he was superior to all three men in this match. The heels ganged up on Mysterio throughout until Hardy attempted to pin him. Thorn shoved him off and they went at it. Thorn had Matt set up for the Original Sin, but Rey ran in and nailed him with a dropkick. Rey then set Matt up for the 619 and connected to eliminate him from the chase. Winners: Rey Mysterio & Kevin Thorn (10:49) **¾After the match, just as Rey was celebrating, Kevin Thorn snuck in and drilled him with a DDT. This allowed Jack Swagger to sneak in as well and nail Thorn with a Gutwrench Power Bomb. He got out of dodge before the Brood could get to him. The final shot we see on ECW is Jack Swagger walking backwards up the ramp with a huge smile on his face.© WWE 2009 [/center]

- Wouldn't be unhappy if Kennedy had a better run in 2010. - Goldust and Tatsu winning is meh to me, Colons tension makes it fine. - Ryder defeating Hurricane? Woo Woo Woo! I hope he wins the TV Title, you know it. - Danielson and Dreamer getting the win is nice. A four way tag on Raw is fine. - Matt Hardy being out of the Elimination Chace is fine. Expecting Rey to win it.
Good ECW.

ECW, great opening promo by Mr. Kennedy, and after that, I could actually see him as a major contender for the Rumble. Pleased to see Goldust and Yoshi Tatsu get the victory here. A Colon split on the horizon? Very pleased to see Zack Ryder defeat The Hurricane, although it did surprise me. Please to see Danielson and Dreamer get the victory, I hope Perfectly Awesome lose the belts soon, I think they have had a long enough reign. My prediction from last week was correct, Matt Hardy gets eliminated by Rey Mysterio. Good way to close ECW, looking forward to the Rumble.

- I love the way you have built Mr. Kennedy – he is just perfect - Goldust and Yoshi winning is good as it seems like the more realistic choice - I am eager to see where you take disappointed Carlito - I am so pumped Zack Ryder won – push him! - I love T-Lo ticking off Swagger - I was actually shocked to see Danielson and Dreamer defeat Perfect Awesome, but hopefully it leads to something good - I am so happy Matt Hardy is out because he was the weakest competitor.

Smackdown 12/25/09 Preview-Merry Christmas to the WWE Universe! Our gift to you tonight is a jam packed edition of Friday Night Smackdown. Headlining this huge show is a World Heavyweight Title match between Champion Shelton Benjamin and challenger Chris Jericho. Jericho defeated CM Punk last week to earn this shot, and Punk is still owed a rematch so we're sure he'll be watching this closely. Can Shelton be successful in his first title defense? Or will Jericho end his reign prematurely? -Speaking of title matches, the WWE Tag Team Titles will be on the line on Christmas. The New Hart Foundation have had a stranglehold on the belts since WrestleMania XXV. Their biggest challengers so far have been Paul London and Brian Kendrick. London and Kendrick suffered a loss to The Dudebusters last week though, so Stephanie McMahon has decided that tonight both the Dudebusters and London and Kendrick get title shots in a Triple Threat Tag Team match! -With the Royal Rumble a few weeks away, qualifying matches are heating up on every WWE show. Tonight will be no different as we will witness two very competitive qualifiers. "The Viper" Randy Orton will take on Tyler Black in one of them. The other features two of the WWE's top rising stars in United States Champion John Morrison and the man he took the belt from, Kofi Kingston. Which two of these four stars will enter the Royal Rumble? Tune into MyNetwork TV tonight at 8:00PM for all of this and a whole lot more on the special Christmas Day edition of Smackdown!

- For Smackdown I hope Shelton retains his World Heavyweight Championship on this Smackdown episode against Jericho, then that way Jericho does not face Shelton Benjamin at the Rumble, that way Jericho has to enter the 2010 Royal Rumble Match. Then if Shelton beats Punk, then that means no one faces Shelton for the title at the 2010 Royal Rumble, because Punk nor Jericho deserve a title shot
- Randy Orton my boy will qualify for the 2010 Royal Rumble Match by defeating Tyler Black, and Kofi will beat Morrison to qualify for the 2010 Royal Rumble Match
- Therefore allowing Black & Morrison to face each other in their Best of 7 Series for the WWE United States Championship at the 2010 Royal Rumble
- The Hart Dynasty will retain their titles against both The Dudebusters and London & Kendrick in that Triple-Threat Tag Team Match for the WWE Tag Team Titles, meaning one team will break up and one partner will turn on the other either in The Dudebusters or with London & Kendrick

- Kevin Thorn I hope he beats Mysterio to become the new #1 Contender for the ECW Title at the Rumble, to see a heel vs. heel match up, to see who is more hated than the other, because Swagger will go up against someone that is more vicious and more cruel and more evil than he is

ECW on SyFy: Tuesday 22nd December 2009...Mr Kennedy's promo seemed straight to the point and basic; but almost unnecessary, as I can't see Kennedy winning the Royal Rumble, and if he was to simply come out and cut a promo and him winning the Rumble; I would expect somebody to interrupt him and a feud to become embezzeled. In addition, we are about five or six weeks from Royal Rumble, so isn't this a little soon? Next, pretty decent tag team match but wouldn't have gone down too popular with the fans; as both teams are face. Guess it's over contention to the World Tag Team Championships, though; strange decision for Goldust and Yoshi Tatsu to overcome Primo and Carlito though. Zack Ryder beating The Hurricane in a Royal Rumble qualifying match is acceptable; Ryder's obviously headed to win the WWE Television Championship, and I'm all for that. Hmm, The Brood's segment was interesting. Bizarre place on the card to put a match at the half-an-hour mark, Bryan Danielson and Tommy Dreamer beating The Miz and Dolph Ziggler. I'd have had this open with Kennedy's Rumble hype being a mere brief interview. And lastly, the Elimination Chase. Decent for Rey Mysterio and Kevin Thorn to finish last; looking good for next week. Overall, fair edition of ECW, but I disagree with the order of matches.

December 25th, 2009 Amway Arena in Orlando, Florida Attendance: 15,740
Smackdown opens with a highlight video package of last week’s events between Shelton Benjamin, CM Punk and Chris Jericho. It shows Jericho beating Punk and earning a World Heavyweight Title shot tonight against Shelton Benjamin.Jim Ross and Matt Striker wish the audience a merry Christmas and begin to hype up tonight’s big show. They promote the World Heavyweight Championship main event, as well as the Triple Threat Tag match for the WWE Tag Team Championship. We will also see two Royal Rumble qualifying matches as well as a huge match between Jeff Hardy and Edge! The WWE’s Christmas gift to their fans is a jam packed show tonight.Singles Match [Royal Rumble Qualifier] Randy Orton vs. Tyler BlackIt was nice to see Black in the ring with somebody other than John Morrison as tonight we take a break from the exciting Best of Seven Series. Black held his own against the former World Champion and nearly had the win sealed when he hit the Buckle Bomb. He covered but Orton managed to get a shoulder up. Black attempted the Superkick with Orton on his knees, but Orton ducked, quickly hopped up and drilled him with a deadly RKO. Winner: Randy Orton (9:54) ***¼
Commercial Break. The cameras return to see the Smackdown roster, for the most part, having a party. Stephanie McMahon and Vickie Guerrero are hosting and everybody seems to be having fun. The Big Show asks the GMs about a spot in the Royal Rumble. Stephanie says that she’s been meaning to tell him that he has a qualifying match next week on Smackdown. Show thanks her as we cut to the arena.Edge’s theme music hit as “The Rated R SuperStar” made his way down the aisle and into the ring. He got on the microphone and began to talk about Kofi Kingston. Edge said that he is still frustrated at his recent performances. He reminds everybody that he hasn’t been World Champ in over a year and he has struggled in the big situations, which is something he used to thrive on. Edge says that Kofi Kingston has been a thorn in his side for weeks now and it needs to end soon. He issues a challenge to Kofi and it can’t be tonight because they’re both in matches. So next week, right here on Smackdown, he wants to face Kofi one on one in a Steel Cage match. Kofi’s theme plays as he comes to the top of the stage. He tells Edge that he gladly accepts and promises to put an end to this war. Edge says that he won’t be Kofi’s stepping stone to a future World Title and he will prove it next week! Commercial Break.
Divas Tag Team Match AJ Lee & Gail Kim vs. Divas Champion Maryse & Michelle McCoolLee looked better in this match than she did last week, as she worked very well with Kim. They used their speed advantage in this match to have control. Maryse and McCool didn’t seem to get along as well and that led to some arguments. Near the end, McCool went to tag Maryse but the Champion ignored her. That allowed Lee to pin her after hitting a Shining Wizard. Winners: AJ Lee & Gail Kim (5:29) **Josh Matthews is standing by with the WWE Tag Team Champions The New Hart Foundation and Natalya Neidhart. He asks them about their huge title defense tonight. TJ Wilson confidently states that since their debut about a year ago, nobody has been as dominant as the three of them. They show off their Slammy Awards and say that they plan on being Tag Champions for a very long time.Commercial Break. The Christmas party is shown once again and everybody’s focused on Kelly Kelly’s dancing in the middle of it. Teddy Long is watching, but is interrupted by Sheamus. He is not in the mood for partying and is all business. He demands a match with Finlay next week. He wants it to end between them and says that Smackdown isn’t big enough for both of them. So he wants it to be a Loser Leaves Smackdown match. Long says that he likes the high stakes idea of the match, but he wants to add something to it. Next week’s match between them will also be a Belfast Brawl! Sheamus likes the sound of that and leaves.Singles Match Edge vs. Jeff HardyWhen these two step into the ring against each other, we’re always in for a treat and tonight was no different. They went back and forth for a good ten minutes, before the finish came. Jeff nailed the Hardyac Arrest dropkick in the corner and then set up Edge for the Swanton Bomb. As he was on the top rope, Randy Orton’s theme hit the speakers. Jeff froze at the top and began to look around for Orton. That allowed Edge to get up and hit the ropes, causing Jeff to fall. Edge then climbed up with him and nailed a top rope Edgecution for the win. Winner: Edge (11:39) ***½
Commercial Break.
WWE Tag Team Championship The New Hart Foundation (c) w/ Natalya Neidhart vs. Paul London & Brian Kendrick vs. The Dudebusters w/Curt HawkinsAs expected, this was a very good match. All three teams were on their game. For the early stages, the two heel teams did their best to wear down London and Kendrick. At one point, Croft went for a cover after a move done by Wilson, which caused friction between the two heel teams. They began to go at it with each other and that allowed Brian Kendrick to get the tag. The finish came when Smith hit Croft with a running slam. He got up and Kendrick hit him with a dropkick. Kendrick followed that by knocking both Wilson and Baretta off the apron. He then nailed Smith with Sliced Bread No. 2. He tagged London who came in and hit the Standing Shooting Star Press for the win! Winners and NEW WWE Tag Team Champions: Paul London & Brian Kendrick (12:29) ****The crowd was in shock as were the announcers. London and Kendrick have completed their huge comeback by ending the two hundred and sixty five day reign of the New Hart Foundation.Commercial Break. The cameras return to catch the new WWE Tag Team Champions celebrating their win at the Christmas party. Everybody seems to be having a great time in the back, as we now cut to the interview area.
Angela Fong is standing by with the World Heavyweight Champion Shelton Benjamin. She asks him if he’s nervous about his first title defense tonight. Shelton looks disgusted that she would dare ask a question like that. He reminds her that he is the World Champion and everybody should be nervous about facing him. He says that he is the cream of the crop, which makes him the Gold Standard of Smackdown. He loves the sound of that and doesn’t plan on having that change anytime soon.Commercial Break.
Non-Title Match [Royal Rumble Qualifier] Kofi Kingston vs. United States Champion John MorrisonMorrison took the United States Title from Kingston back at Unforgiven a few months back in a great match. Tonight was more of the same as both men put on a good showing. Kofi was in control for the most part as he’s been great since his recent push began. He made a costly mistake though when he went for the Boom Drop as Morrison moved out of the way. Once Kofi got up, Morrison rolled him up with a handful of tights for a near fall. Morrison then went for his springboard kick, but Kofi ducked and hit him with Trouble in Paradise to end it. Winner: Kofi Kingston (7:57) ***Chris Jericho is shown walking towards the arena as the main event is coming up next!Commercial Break.
World Heavyweight Championship Shelton Benjamin (c) vs. Chris JerichoDespite both men being heels, the WWE Universe was behind Jericho for the most part it seems. These two great wrestlers put on a very good match. Shelton hit the Shell Bomb, T-Bone suplex and Shelton Splash for near falls. Jericho nailed the Lionsault, double under hook back breaker and German suplex for some near falls as well. The finish came when Jericho locked on the Walls of Jericho only to have Shelton managed to reach the ropes. Jericho was frustrated at this and he nailed the Codebreaker as Shelton got up. He covered but Shelton got his foot on the bottom rope. Jericho was furious at the referee for this and he began to argue with him. He turned back to Shelton, right into Paydirt. Shelton covered and retained the gold. Winner and Still World Heavyweight Champion: Shelton Benjamin (14:00) ***½Just as Shelton began to celebrate, CM Punk’s theme hit as the crowd went crazy. He came out to the stage and congratulated Shelton on retaining the title here tonight. He tells him that he should savor tonight because he’s coming for his rematch soon. He says that his Christmas gift to Shelton is that he’s using his rematch clause for a Title shot at the Royal Rumble. The crowd enjoys this announcement and Shelton is fuming. Punk claims that Shelton stole the belt from him and at the Royal Rumble, he’s going to take back what is rightfully his.© WWE 2009

- Good job, very good good job on Smackdown Christmas Special, I am proud of you, but I just had a few teensy little bit of problems with the outcome of some of your matches.
- Randy Orton, my man, I already knew that he was going to beat Tyler Black, I mean Tyler Black is great, but he is no Randy Orton, and you cannot tame The Viper, so now that Randy Orton my man is in the 2010 Royal Rumble Match, Randy will be the heavy favorite to win it all again this year
- I expected Maryse and Michelle McCool to win that match, I really did, because let's face it AJ Lee & Gail Kim are nowhere near the level of Maryse or Michelle McCool in terms of being a pure diva wrestler, so them losing to Lee & Kim is kind of an upset so I kind of do have a problem there, but hey I understand that it had to be done
- Edge & Jeff Hardy's match, to tell you the truth I expected Jeff to win, so I kind of have a little problem with that, but what I do not have a problem with, is my man Randy costing Jeff the match, love that, now Jeff Hardy will learn to never and I repeat Jeff will learn to never ever cross The Viper
- The WWE Tag Team Title Triple Threat Tag Team Championship Match now that I have a big problem with, as I was expecting The New Hart Foundation (Kidd & Smith) to retain their titles against both The Dudebusters & London & Kendrick, what I did not expect was London & Kendrick to win the titles on the Christmas special. I expected that both The Dudebusters & Londrick would lose, and then I would see Kendrick turn on Paul London & then Kendrick become like The Boy Toy 1990s era Shawn Michaels of his tag team and become The Brian Kendrick & hire himself a bodyguard to watch his back like Diesel, but hey it's your diary, so I understand why you did what you did, and I can see why you do it, so it's all good
- Kofi Kingston beating John Morrison to enter the Royal Rumble Match, there's a little problem with that, where does that leave Edge because Edge has not qualified for the Rumble match yet
- Now Shelton Benjamin beating Chris Jericho, now that, that right there I love so much, so very much because Jericho I had enough of him when he was World Champion, and thank God he is not getting another chance.
- Now that Punk is challenging for the title, I don't have a particular problem with that per se, but the only little problem being here is that I hope you do not make Shelton a transitional champion and have him lose the title at The 2010 Royal Rumble, I want Shelton to retain his title and beat Punk at the Rumble, then lose the title at Elimination Chamber
- 2010 Royal Rumble Match Winner, please let The Demon of Death Valley, The Master of Hell's Gate, The Deadman, The Phenom The Undertaker, please, please, please let Undertaker make his return during the 2010 Royal Rumble Match and let Undertaker win the 2010 Royal Rumble Match and let Taker headline WrestleMania 26 XXVI for the championship of his choice whether it be the World Heavyweight Champion Benjamin who put Taker in a casket and set it on fire or whoever ends up being the WHC after Elimination Chamber, or the WWE Champion HHH one half of DX who is HBK's best friend so that way Taker can retire HHH, or face the WWE Champion whoever it may be, or Taker facing the ECW Champion whoever it may be
