So will we get replacement arms for those that purchased the figure already, or will it just be a running change?

Goldberg losing to Nash basically led to the death of WCW. WCW initially saw an increase in weekly viewers in the weeks following the Finger Poke of Doom. Fans wanted to see Goldberg get revenge and end the nWo once and for all. Instead, we got another Hogan/Flair feud, and once Goldberg beat Hall and Nash, he was all of a sudden booked in a nothing-feud with Rick Steiner of all people. This is when WCW’s downfall truly started (though they had been trying to jumpstart it for a while by that point).

Great feud, and gave us the origins of Jason Jordan.

The fact that Coach was booked to go over Stone Cold tells you everything about this crappy angle.

Fantasy booking wise, the nWo could have been the wild card between the WWF and WCW/ECW. Basically a 3-way “war.”

The undisputed title design only lasted around 3 years. It was only held by HHH, Hogan, Taker, Rock, Brock, Angle, Eddie, JBL, and Cena.

Well, with the way the draft went, it doesn’t seem like anyone will be beating Roman anytime soon (outside of maybe Drew, or if Vince wants to pop a quick rating, Brock). Not saying it’s the right or wrong move, but personally, the Tribal Chief thing has run its course by this point. After over a year, nothing has really been added to this except Roman’s questioning of Heyman’s loyalty (which doesn’t interest me much). If they threw a Roman title loss in there (for him to get it back not long after), or maybe have the Usos try to break away, it would add something new to this. Instead it’s the same thing every feud Roman has (tells his opponent to acknowledge him for weeks, then needs to cheat to win).
At this rate nobody will be beating him until Bron Breakker at WM40.

Shame they still can’t get Gunn’s boots right. I always wondered what the desk behind Gunn’s boots were. They have two molds that would work better then what they chose. The original LOD boot mold and the new LOD boot mold. Both are great options imo. Mattel: “Spreadsheets.” Me: “But Rock has had multiple recipe changes over the years.” Mattel: “…spreadsheets.”

Best: Hollywood Hogan or Bret. Worst: Edge. The torso is way too skinny without the jacket and the attire is so bland. Not sure why people are saying Shinsuke. The figure is actually really good. Is it cause he shelf warmed (which I’m guessing is due to his crappy booking when it was released)? the Shinsuke torso is bad, 2 of the heads are bad, with the jacket and good head it’s solid tho Same with Edge, it’s ok just the worst of a good line Why is the torso bad? It’s pretty accurate to his lengthy but doughy look. I’ll agree two of the heads arnt that good but the one that is nails him. Now Edge, that’s a terrible torso. Way too skinny for a guy who’s 6’5” and over 200 pounds.

40 minutes of deleted scenes have been added. Judging from the trailer, Drago has more lines and the fight is drawn out longer. It also seems like there is another training montage added. What!!! Its that true?? Excellent!! I am not sure if Rocky IV is my favourite... or I or II ... not sure really.. I always found II to be the most boring of the Rocky franchise. We knew Rocky was winning in that one and is a slog to get through IMO. But it’s hard to chose my favorite between I, III, and IV.

www.sescoops.com/2021/10/bret-hart-names-his-mt-rushmore-of-technical-wrestlers/Bret Hart was recently asked who his Mount Rushmore of technical wrestlers would be. While he didn’t pick a specific four, he did say that Mr. Perfect and Dynamite Kid would be on there, and would strongly consider AJ Styles, Daniel Bryan, and CM Punk. Since Bret has given his Mount Rushmore of technical wrestlers, who would you all put on yours? For me it’d have to be Mr. Perfect, Bret Hart, Chris Benoit, and Kurt Angle, with Daniel Bryan and Dean Malenko being right there if we had two more spots. I feel each of these performers have helped to define, and re-define, technical wrestling in professional wrestling. Hard to pick four but these performers stick out the most to me.

We’ve only seen 2 trailers but not super psyched for The Batman. The writing of the movies he was in had issues, but Ben Affleck to me was perfect. Intimidating stature, great costume, and knocked the “playboy billionaire” persona out of the park. I felt he’s been the best mixture of both Bruce Wayne and Batman (since you really are playing two characters when taking this role). Pattinson to me just comes off as some angry emo kid next door based on what we’ve seen and his interviews. Could change after seeing the film but he just doesn’t scream Bruce Wayne or Batman to me.
I also think the character designs are lame and lazy. I get it, they want to go back to the bland, realistic take from the Nolan films. But atleast Nolan let Bale have a costume that resembled Batman. Pattinson’s suit looks like he’s wearing hockey pads. Not a fan of the cape-collar either (it’s taking inspiration from the “White Knight” comic but I didn’t like it there either).
Riddler looks like they put a trash bag over his head. Penguin looks and sounds like a random mobster from NJ. Catwoman would be ok if they just gave her goggles like her more modern versions have worn in the comics, but nah, just make it look like she’s wearing a ski mask. And not a fan of the suped-up muscle car being the Batmobile. Yes, it takes inspiration from a few comics, but to me it literally looks like it’s out of a F&F movie. No way Batman is waging a one-man war against crime in Gotham in that thing.
And anyone else annoyed by the scene in the trailer where he’s just soaking machine gun bullets? IDC what he’s wearing, Batman would be dead soaking so much ammo like that (which also begs why not shoot him in the face if he’s that close to a machine gun, and why isn’t Batman trying to be more stealthy).
Excited for The Flash. Always been a Keaton fan, so excited to see his return. Also hoping if rumors are true that Batfleck gets a nice send off if this is truely his last appearance as Batman.

I hate how everyone looks at wrestlers these days and says “Oh he’s an ‘ex-insert promotion here’ guy, he’s taking someones spot who’s been here longer.” At the end of the day if you’re running a company and can have super talented guys on a very healthy roster, who cares where they came from. They’re all a part of this places success now. The funny part of this is fans today are either too ignorant, or chose not to educate themselves on past wrestling rosters where talent switched companies all the times. In the 90s, stars jumped between the WWF and WCW all the time. And in the decades before that, talent would travel to different territories all the time, yet nobody was going “XXX is a former (insert territory) guy.” If a roster is strong, who cares where they worked before. Stronger rosters are just better for fans and the business as a whole.

Vince decides to extend SD 30 minutes, and pays FOX for the ad space to go commercial free. Then throws Becky, Sasha, Roman, and Brock in that time slot, and still looses the demo ratings to a show that ran Ruby/Bunny for a good part of that 30 minutes.
Good for Ruby, Bunny, Punk, and Sydal. And great for TK. Vince keeps picking unwarranted fights and falling on his face. And yet, the WWE still claims AEW “isn’t competition.”

Mattel: “Spreadsheets.” I’m with yah 100%. I'm kind of mind boggled by this too. They made a new torso which works wonders for Hogan and then revert to the same torso that we've been complaining about for the last couple of years. Makes no sense to me. I'll be waiting for '02-03 Hogan. We also need a new headscan for '03 Hogan. I'm tired of the Hall of Fame smiling head, they've used it too many times. Wish RVD would of been an Ultimate Edition and had a new scan, but I'm happy we're getting this attire. EDIT: Does anyone have pics of what attire Hogan's is based off? Reminds me of the TNA attire, the tye dye seems off. I find the whole “spreadsheets” thing BS as they have been using two different torsos for Rocky depending on the era (one for a younger Rock and and one for a more modern Rock). No reason why they can’t do the same for Hogan. The only time I’d accept the “Sheamus torso” for a Hogan figure is a 1993-1997 Hogan. He was clearly off the juice for a good portion of that time, and didn’t seem to start gaining his mass back until 1998.

Why did they have to keep using the damn HOF torso and smaller arms on Hogan? He was waaaay bigger that that in 2005…even in 2002. If Hulk Still Rules is ever released, if they use that Sheamus upper body the figure will be a huge disappointment, kind of like this one. For 2002 they should use the original Hogan torso and Lesnar arms. For 2005 Hogan was bigger in the body, so they should’ve used the Lesnar torso and arms. I guess the boys at Mattel just aren’t fans of their biggest merch mover of 2021 brother! Mattel: “Spreadsheets.” I’m with yah 100%.
