It seems during Punk's rookie year in the WWE, there was never anything bad said about him on these boards. Now, there are only a few people on here who are still fans of his. My question is, why did so many people on here turn on Punk?

I think Punk is great! The only thing that is a little weird is he's shortened his moveset since last year, but it happens. Morrison shortened his moveset too.

I think it has a lot to do with him being booked in a terribly boring way. I used to really love Punk, and he was one of my favorites. But I don't give a crap about his character anymore. Thats not saying I don't like him, because I do and I think he is obviously very talented. It's just that he is wasting away on ECW, he really doesn't have a gimmick, and hasn't done anything of interest aside from winning Money in the Bank. People are just bored with him it seems. I don't think it's an "IWC hates everything popular" thing, because that is a pretty asinine statement.

Because he became stale as puck, slowed down in the ring, lost motivation and just started to lag.

Punk is aweasome..Hes my favorite wrestler..And theres no shot of me turning on him..If anything im one of the biggest Punk marks on this forum..

Thats how these boards work.
There are a few of us that dont change the way we feel just because others do. But 90% of the LITTLE KIDS on here cant think for themselves, and change their favorites more than they change their socks.
The same is going to happen to D-Lo. Everyone is all over his nuts right now, but when he returns as a heel, or does something one person dont like, everyone will crap all over him.
