I must say that is a very accurate list. All those guys from the 03-05 timespan could have been pused to the top, if were used differently.

Ill agree with the following:
Shelton Benjamin- Should be the next ECW Champion. He was built up great til the middle of 06 but seems like they lost faith in him. Why I have no idea. He is brilliant to watch.
Christian- I actually prefer Christian to Edge(who has grown on me the past 2 years or so). Christian oozed charisma and had a great move set. He couldv'e easily pulled off the evil slimy type or the cool aloof goo guy. either wouldve worked for him. he should've had at least 1 run at the top.
Renee Dupree- I found him really entertaining. I wasnt sure what he was supposed to be going for gimmick wise in ECW but I was hoping he'd finally get his push there. Unfortunately not. Not really the greatest wrestler but was entertaining enough to get somewhere. I kinda feel the same towards Conway.
Rob Van Dam- He should have had the WWE and ECW belts far before he won them. Should have been ECW champ in the original incarnation. Also think he should have had a reign between 02 and 04.
I will add:
Goldust- He should have been WWE Champ. I dont care if it lasted a day, a week or 5 minutes. Dustin Rhodes was soooo good at being so creepy. Solid ring and mic skills. No one can pull off a gimmick like him. Easily in my top five of all time.
Test- Far better than he is usually given credit for. Especially for a guy his size. He really should have beaten Lashley and traded the belt with him. He could have been a good U.S. champ too.
Eugene- Boy how he went right down the toilet.
Steven Richards- A horrible misuse of talent from day one. I actually think WWE ruined his career as I feel he wouldve been better off with ECW. No real character so to speak for the past few years. He just seems like bland filler to me when he is on now. He does have an impressive moveset and is very skilled though
Val Venis- I liked him on Smackdown. I think he would have been great carrying the U.S title perhaps. I think he might have been a good choice as tag partner for somelike Billy Gunn or Rico.
Charlie Haas- I like his work. Should have had a run as US in right after the Dawn Marie/ Jackie story maybe in early 2005. Maybe ECW or back to Smackdown would be a good spot for him. They should put him in some kind of storyline. If he's not over as is, just put a mask on him permanently and give him some kind of character. Very talented in the ring.

Muhammad Hassan was a star in the making. They should've kept him on RAW and pushed him for the IC title and then eventually the WWE Championship. Like Christian, his move to Smackdown was his demise. I agree with what somebody said here that Hassan had the potential to be one of the greatest heels in WWE history. His heel heat got him so over as a major heel that giving him a title and top face for him to destroy or at least beat would've gotten him over. I would've started him off defeating J.Hardy and RVD and then move him onto Booker and just raise him up as he continues. I really do miss him :*(.
Don't even get me started on Christian! Having him feud against John Cena and eventually beating him would've been what got Christian over, I think. Someone said it, Christian would've been where Edge is now.
WWE = 2 strikes (I know they have more but these two stand out the most b/c I loved these characters and wanted them to go really far).

Hassan was punished for the WWE's stupid as decisions, hell Smackdown was a taped show they could have edited out the masked men jumping Taker. It was filmed prior to the bombings, and WWE knew it was controversial because I remember vividly watching Smackdown and before anything even happened a message ran across the bottom of my screen saying that in light of recent events viewer discretion is advised for the next segment. WWE knew what they were doing, they thought they might actually be able to use this more to get him over, asnd they were idiots. A week later Hassan was off our TV's forever, then a few weeks after that he was out of the company, all because some stupid ass writer thought it would be a good idea. Hassan got punished for playing his character so well that they couldn't repackage him because he would still get massive heat for his prior stint, the way he was treated and handled was BS and I would hope that someday he pops up in TNA and shows us what he had. UPN said they had to take him off, Hassan wasn't being punished. He asked for his release. He was trying to be an actor. He couldn't wrestle anyway. He didn't "have" anything besides cheap heat. It isn't hard to make the crowd chant "USA." He was just trying to get exposure, he had no passion for the business. Christian should have been like, a 3 time WWE champ by now. Maybe if he'd stuck around, he would be. Christian chose to go to TNA, and you can't really blame him. At the time, TNA looked like it might one day be competition for WWE. He should have gone back to WWE when he had the chance (they offered him a contract).

Seriously people are tossing around Eugene, Val Venis, Charlie Haas and Golddust as potential world champions? Not a chance. The WWE is not going to put the belt a intellectually- disabled person. The WWE is not going to put the belt on a pornstar of mediocre talent. Also, the WWE is not going to put the belt on a guy who doesn't have any mic skills and lacks the "it" factor. And, the WWE is not going to put the belt on anyone with a Golddust gimmick

Back in 1996, he main eventing shows left, right and centre. Not to mention, he was INCREDIBLY over.
