Smackdown was great tonight, it blew away RAW on Monday.

Yeah, I wasn't much of a fan of SmackDown this week. The World title feud wasn't even hardly mentioned on the show and Backlash is in a little over two weeks. Also, why would Edge be relaxing and taking a week off instead of finding some way to hurt 'Taker before their match in a few weeks? Storyline-wise, I mean. The whole Edge/Vickie love storyline is getting a little old and having skits to remind of us of that isn't any better. There was no reason whatsoever for Festus to be booked in the main event with Undertaker (although, I'll give them credit, the match turned out pretty good). Why weren't him and Jesse beating up on some random tag team to help build their characters? I don't know, this week didn't make much sense to me prior to and after watching SmackDown, and the opening segment with Show and Khali was so ing strange, thank god Show landed a punch as that whole segment was going nowhere fast.

I just got home like 5 minutes before Teddy walked in. That whole scene was just disturbing....what if Teddy turned the lights on while Edge was in mid-thrust?

It was disturbing seeing Vickie like that and then Edges peticure moment. Just awful but hey its good entertainment. I quite like SD.

Ah, that vaguely makes sense. I just didn't see the point in putting Festus in the main event where you absolutely knew he had no chance beating 'Taker. Maybe something will come out of this match like him being cured as others have said since SmackDown aired. Also, even though the match was good, I still think Festus should have connected with his opening match flurry of punches and whatnot. It would have given a better false impression of his dominance if he could slightly stun the brand's World Heavyweight champion.

I have NO problem with the Viki/Edge storyline, it's amusing and it's really one of the few storylines that the WWE has to offer right now.
I have NO idea what the hell is going on on RAW anymore and I don't think the WWE knows either. They haven't done anything interesting on that show for a very long time.
Cena has been anything but exciting since his return, his promos aren't the least bit funny(is he trying anymore?), the crowd just isn't into him, so he desperately needs a NEW direction.
If it wasn't for HBK, I probably wouldn't watch that show anymore - here's to him going to SD so I don't have to waste my Monday nights anymore.

Festus was hitting Taker pretty good throughout the match, they went back and forth and Festus even dominated for a while. And then when Festus wiggled out of the tombstone after the ref got knocked down, he hit his signature kick, and i think they were trying to give the impression that he could have maybe actually won. IMO i think a hard fought loss to Undertaker will be more helpful to Festus than beaing a jobber team ever will.

Did you read what I said? I said I thought Festus should have connected with punches at the start of the match as soon as the bell rung, but he didn't. And, there is no way the Undertaker would've lost to him in their first match together in the main event while he's World Heavyweight champion.

So I've kind of not been following wrestling for a year and a half for various reasons, one being disgust of what's come of the product. So I'm starting to watch again but I didn't see tonights show. So what you're telling me is the Eddie Guerreros widow is involved in a sex angle? ... Seriously.... how does this not bother anyone else?

If you listened, it sounded like Teddy was in the room as he said it was gross having him in there or something like that.
