Did you even watch the match? Festus was hitting Taker pretty good throughout the match, they went back and forth and Festus even dominated for a while. And then when Festus wiggled out of the tombstone after the ref got knocked down, he hit his signature kick, and i think they were trying to give the impression that he could have maybe actually won. IMO i think a hard fought loss to Undertaker will be more helpful to Festus than beaing a jobber team ever will. Why would I say a match was good if I didn't watch it? Of course I did. Did you read what I said? I said I thought Festus should have connected with punches at the start of the match as soon as the bell rung, but he didn't. And, there is no way the Undertaker would've lost to him in their first match together in the main event while he's World Heavyweight champion. I know you watched it and i saw what you said, i was being sarcastic. I do know what you mean about him not hitting Taker at the start, but he still had a good showing throughout the match. And i know Festus had no shot at beating Taker in the main event and anyone who thinks he did is a fool, but my point is that there were moments when Taker was down and Festus was dominating him, and that will help Festus.

Oh, absolutely.
I was very surprised at how much 'Taker put him over in that match, despite choking him out for the finish. Also, he never actually tapped to the finish, so his credibility will grow a lot more than guys like Big Daddy V and Mark Henry.
I might be wrong in saying this, but I think 'Taker must see something special in the guy or else he wouldn't go out there for the main event and make him look as good as he did. I've been a supporter of Jesse and Festus ever since I saw them on SmackDown late last year. Festus' unorthodox style and gimmick is what WWE needs in a company filled with stale characters at the moment.
Now, I'm not saying he's Heavyweight champion material at the moment, but I'd take him over any Snitsky, Henry or Big Daddy V WWE has thrown at us in the last few years.

I thought the scenes were pretty funny and not over done and drawn out.
I really wish that the Boogeyman came back and interrupted them, that would have made it better.
