Can't say I am happy about the move. I get the channel but it seems like a very cheap channel with crap quality.

Easiest way to see if you have MyNetwork:
1. Try to remember where your WB and UPN used to be. 2. Figure out which one is now your CW. 3. Go to the other one. Chances are, it's probably MyNetwork.

Well, my intellectually- disabled cable company doesn't have CW or MyNetworkTV, so it doesn't really matter.

I wonder if its going to stay on Fridays or change...AGAIN? Anyway I wont be able to get it since I have satellite; DirecTV doesnt carry any of our local channels in DT or HD. It's also hit and miss getting it with our HD antenna.

DirecTV does not have MyNetworkTV. Thats because its considered local channel network like CBS, NBC, ABC, and CW. I noticed that with alot of people who have a satellite dish. At least with all of our local channels; they have a contract with our local cable company to only broadcast HD through their company; in which is called a "No-Compete Clause". And this maybe so in your city too. They may tell you otherwise, but if you do your homework and see if your local cable company has them and your satellite company dont...Thats the problem.

Yes my local cable company has it. But Direc does not. But I am still a bit confused on what you are saying. I have UPN....its the only local station of mine not in HD. ABC, FOX, NBC, and CBS are all HD.

DT channels like these are local, and unable to be picked up by Satellite dish.

So, it's going back to its original channel? Only if you now have MyNetwork where your UPN used to be. This is really a good thing for folks in my area...aside from the fact that I could've care less about HD, I'm sick to death of Phillies, Flyers, and Sixers games pre-empting my wrestling. Because dammit, I'm proud to be a fan of a sporting endeavor that openly admits to being fabricated.

Does anyone know if the Dish Network gets MyNetWorkTV.
Also, for those of you with Time Warner Cable. Look through the channels of your HD tier (even if you dont have HD). That is where the local Time Warner added a couple of channels including MyNetworkTV. It is channel 866 here. Our channel guide did not show it so it is worth going through your channels.

If you get it through a local channel, yes. KASY-50 is how I get it, and it's the exact same channel UPN was, and CW is. If you want to find out if you get it, go here: www.mynetworktv.com/stations.php
