WWE should have used the middle finger as the stage because Wrestlemania 31 was one big you to anyone who thought this was going to be a bad show. Apart from the super long Authority, Rock and Ronda promo, WWE was firing on all cylinders start to finish. 9.99999999999/10 But that segment was so epic!!!! Amazing show they did it they finally shut us up lol

I really loved everything but I really disliked the Rock/Rousey segment.

I agree that the Rousey segment went too long but if it gives us Rousey in a match, I'm all for it.

On another note, Bray's entrance is one of the best I've ever see in my life! He's 0-2 at 'Mania now, so maybe he'll be a reverse 'Taker? Then, when he retires he'll be 1-21? Kidding! That would suck.

I absolutely loved it. From Undertaker's return, to Rollins cash in, to clinging on to the hope that Mizdow would win. Everything was awesome.

Now that I had some time to let things sink in...
The Fatal Four was tag match was entertaining as expected. Everyone delivered.
AMBR was okay. Had Sandow & Miz eliminated Show first and then had their official split, I think many would have been happier.
The IC Ladder match wasn't the show stealer I expected it to be. But it was entertaining nonetheless.
Orton vs Rollins was great with an even better finish. Good stuff from both guys.
Triple H vs Sting may have been oddly booked. Especially with Hall & Nash trying to stop Triple H. I would have bet the farm Sting was gonna win, but lets be honest here Sting is 56 and most likely just wanted to go out on a big stage. And he did just that. I didn't know what was gonna happen next and I enjoyed that part of it.
Why is it when anyone else wins it's okay, but as soon as Triple H wins a match (first win in last 5 matches) it's automatically to stroke his own ego?
Divas match was decent. They had more than two minutes and they used it.
Cena and Rusev was good. I enjoyed it more than Cena vs Wyatt last year. Rusev has arrived.
The Rock/Rousey & Authority segment went a lil long, but it was cool to see Rock and Ronda get showcased. Who better to beat up than the Authority?
Undertaker looked good. And as I said last night, win, lose, or draw, Wyatt has faced Cena & Taker at WM. That's a huge accomplishment.
The Main Event was booked perfectly. I wanted a hard hitting fight and by gawd they delivered.
Rollins cashing in mid match was perfect. Roman didn't look too weak and Brock loses the title while still being the beast. Bravo WWE.
Overall I was very pleased with 90% of this PPV.

I honestly believe Rusev's entrance was the best I've ever seen in WWE. The patriotic anthem, Lana parading the belt and the tank just gave it a really big match feel. Glad they went all out. Sad that he was victim to another #cenawinslol
I haven't been thrilled with Rusev over the last year but he's totally won me over, hope he isn't lost in the shuffle. Maybe they can make a meaningful feud with him and Ziggler or Ambrose.

I'm just still really upset about Sting losing. The more and more I think about it, the less and less sense it makes.
There was no reason to make this about WCW vs. WWE, and even less sense making it DX vs. nWo.
First of all, in kayfabe, why would Hogan, Hall and Nash come out and defend Sting? I'm not even going to waste my time typing it or your time reading it; we know the history between Sting and the nWo.
Second of all, after the match, why have Sting and Triple H shake hands? Sting and Triple H shaking hands only makes sense if it's Tripe H acknowledging that Sting was right and that the Authority was close to becoming the cancer to the WWE like the nWo was the cancer that killed WCW (again, kayfabe). So to have Triple H and Sting shake hands and then have Triple H come out an hour later and BURY Sting and be the same heel....it makes no sense.
WWE had Sting say that his reason for being in WWE was to stop Triple H from being a manipulative executive who abused his power. So the next time Triple H abuses his power, Sting just doesn't care anymore and he's over it?
So since Sting's justification for coming here was to stop Triple H from being a heel, and Sting lost, and Triple H is STILL a heel.....this whole thing really accomplished NOTHING. Because like I said, if the next time Triple H abuses his power, if Sting doesn't ever show up to try and stop him, then the whole thing was for nothing.
Those are just my problems with the STORY. Like I posted last night, I also really have problems with the fact that at 56 years old and in what COULD have been his last match, to have Sting go out with a LOSS is ridiculous. Like I said, if Sting wrestles again for WWE, and his next match isn't until Wrestlemania 32 and his opponent is The Undertaker, Sting will NEVER win a WWE match. Even if he wins a match at maybe SummerSlam or Survivor Series, he's still almost certainly never winning a Wrestlemania match.
It just seems odd. Unless Sting just wanted the payday or to say he wrestled at Wrestlemania....it just leaves a weird feeling in my gut. Sting was so worried about how WWE would use him and being buried that he wouldn't come to WWE for 14 years. So at age 55 he FINALLY comes to the WWE and at 56 his first match is a loss at Wrestlemania where WWE essentially reenacts WWE beating WCW in the Monday Night War?
I think I almost would have been happier if Sting NEVER came to the WWE, rather than him coming in so that WWE can finally put the screws to the last WCW guy that they never got.
And part of me thinks WWE screwed Sting. I think what happened last night was sprung on Sting very late. We didn't hear about this match being no DQ until Lilian Garcia said it. I think WWE legitimately baited Sting to join the WWE and then the day of Wrestlemania changed the finish on him with all this nWo/DX crap.
We'll see what happens, but last night was essentially a microcosm of what Sting was worried about WWE doing to him.....so I don't understand why he let it happen.

I still think the best outcome for everyone is to have Rollins run in towards the end of the match, cash in, and steal Reigns' spotlight. Not to be THAT guy, but I did call Rollins cashing in mid-match... I had major worries about WM31, but I think it was great.

When I saw both guys down for the F5, I shouted SETH and a split second later, his theme hit.

We'll see what happens, but last night was essentially a microcosm of what Sting was worried about WWE doing to him.....so I don't understand why he let it happen. Arrrghhh..... I'm mostly in agreement with you. My buddy and I (who I watched the show with) are huge Sting fans & loved the Monday Night Wars. I have to tell you, during the Sting/HHH match, we were jumping out of our seats & screaming at the TV like we haven't done in 15+ years - it was awesome, it was fun, it was great. I didn't have a problem with the nWo helping Sting.... I thought it was kind of poetic that Sting's old enemies banded together with him to take out HHH & his old friends, resulting in a dream match. I even said to my buddy "the match I always wanted to see was HBK VS. Sting". Then, Michaels appeared out of nowhere, hit the sweet chin music - and it was awesome! It was a magical "WrestleMania Moment" in this house - we absolutely loved it, up until that ending. As soon as Triple H wacked Sting with the piece of the hammer & got that three count, the wind got sucked out of us & we just sat there in silence. Sting winning that match would have been an incredible moment.... Triple H winning? Felt unnatural, like another "FU" to the fans. But a handshake after the match? Those should be saved as a show of honor for two competitors who just fought a valiant war & earned each others respect. Triple H stole the win after several attempts at interference & use of a weapon - hardly worthy of a handshake. I was hoping Sting wouldn't accept it, but he did. We were scratching our heads in disbelief. Great, fun match... terrible ending. DX/HHH VS. NWO/Sting will always go down as one of my favorite WrestleMania moments.... but that ending puts such a taint on it..... I fear getting hate for this - I appreciate a lot of things Hunter's done lately, NXT, etc... but I truly lost some respect for HHH last night. "Best For Business" last night would have been putting Sting over & creating a WrestleMania Moment. HHH putting himself over really tainted the match & the memory, at least for myself and the people I watched the show with. Triple H didn't need that win, but he took it because he could.

It seems that Sting was right all those years ago about being buried if he ever came to WWE. Especially as all of the build-up for this match was leaning towards a Sting victory. 14 years, 14 GODDAMN years we waited for Sting to come to WWE and when he finally does, it's a huge disappointment. This is all about Vince's ego at the end of the day. He loves burying ex-WCW stars. Look at Goldberg's WWE run, Steiner's return, Nash's return, Hogan's return. All of them were essentially punished for being a part of WCW. Why can't Vince be satisfied that he won the war? Sting didn't deserve this.

I just realized this, Seth now has the best WM record out of all the members of The Shield.
Ambrose: 2-1 Reigns: 2-1 Rollins: 3-1

The tag match was good for what it's was and the right guys won. I have no issue with Show winning. It's not like winning the battle royal means anything but a spot on the card. Mizdow got his Mania moment so all is well. Ladder match was sweet. Tons of great spots and nothing that put Bryan in too much danger. I hope they go forward with a DBvsDZ feud. Rollins vs Orton was great. With how the night ended, I'm ok with the result. It'll continue the feud with Orton trying to get a title shot. Plus, that ing RKO. Sting vs Triple H was fun. Did it make perfect sense? Nope. Still enjoyed it as a brawl. I'm indifferent towards who won and who lost. Diva Tag Match was about what I expected. Not terrible. I've become used to NXT women's wrestling that very little on the main product interests me much. Cena vs Rusev worked for me. Again, the outcome didn't concern me. I'm more interested in Cena defending the belt than I would of been seeing which next American would challenge Rusev. The Rock and Rousey segment was a night highlight for me. Loved it and marked out loud. Was it a little long? Sure. But they had time to kill and it killed some daylight for the next match. Loved Undertaker vs Bray. Was it a classic? No. But it worked on many levels. Wyatt will bounce back. And it erased the image of old man Mark walked to the back in defeat we got last year. Reigns and Lesnar was brutal and a perfect brawl. Suplex City, bitch. If you want someone to look strong, have him go toe to toe with Brock. Then the cash in ended the night perfectly. Money is in the chase. Summerslam gives Reigns more time to prepare to be the man. And Rollins is a fantastic heel. All quick thought. Honestly I'm so into the NXT product that I go in with lower expectations for WWE PPVs. That made me enjoy this so much more. I loved it.
