Reigns/Lesnar WILL be on the level of Lesnar/Goldberg. The question is, who/what will the WWE add to take away some of the heat? WMXX had Austin as the special guest referee. WMXXX had Daniel Bryan added, to make it a Triple Threat match. Something has to give, or Roman is getting eaten alive on March 29th. I really don't think that WWE is going to do anything. Vince is fully intent on having Lesnar and Reigns close the show. Everything is going to go wrong. i would have agreed except for how they followed things up on raw - having reigns directly address the reception of his win is a clear sign that it did have a big effect on the wwe's thought process and daniel bryan having a promo where he addressed the disappointment and the fact that he was going to focus on nothing but the wwe title + referencing his battle last year to the top makes me think the wwe is already not sure about what direction they'll end up with. they WANT reigns/lesnar...but just like last year, that may not be what happens if things keep up.

There is a reason why Roman Reigns gets pushed to the moon by Vince because Mr. McMahon loves big men with limited talents to be top faces. He felt the same way ten years ago about Cena. Even Stephanie told her dad that Cena was limited before her father gave us ten years of Cena as the top face of the company!

Ah, the old "you can't critique ___ because you don't do ___" argument...it's always been bullish*t before, and it's still bullsh*t here. Anyone can tell if what they're seeing or hearing is entertaining them, and I don't have to wrestle to know that what I'm seeing and hearing from Reigns is not entertaining me. In a nutshell.

Cena is more popular than Bryan. He's still selling a ton more merch than anyone else. It's VERY easy for people to sit there and cheer for Bryan and boo Cena. So Bryan's fans are one of two things; either they're the whiny, vocal minority, or they're the type of fan not willing to put their money where their mouth is. Either way Cena is more over than Bryan. I usually ignore your insane responses to anything anyone says, but that's a goddamn lie and you know it. Cena is lucky to get a 50/50 response on any given night, t-shirt sales sure as don't relate to being over. Night after night for the past year and a half Daniel Bryan blows the roof off of every building he's been in. Hell, even when he's NOT there the crowds chant for him. It's the fact that he's had SUSTAINED popularity that makes him over. Look at Ryder, he was on absolute fire and WWE did what they could to kill him and it worked. But they're doing the same crap with Bryan but he still gets better reactions than anyone on the roster. Or even than the Rock. Seriously, how in the can you call Bryan fans a minority when he has entire arenas going nuts for him? Maybe the reason Cena's shirts sell so well is because only Cena fans (children and absolute morons) are the only people who would be caught dead wearing a wrestling shirt in public? Yes. Merch sales do absolutely equate to being over. It's in fact the best way of telling how over someone is.

In which case, being a wrestler who only appeals to people who are "too cool" to wear wrestling shirts is not a good career move. Plus, you're talking nonsense. CM Punk's merchandise sold very well.

People also don't seem to realize Ryder has quite possibly the worst acting skills in WWE. His promos made Romans look great.

Plus people have to remember that the WWE are a business. If Bryan's shirts sold well enough for them to make as many as John has, and have them sell like John's do, then they'd do it. They aren't going to release dozens of Bryan's shirts if they aren't going to sell. There is a reason why Roman Reigns gets pushed to the moon by Vince because Mr. McMahon loves big men with limited talents to be top faces. He felt the same way ten years ago about Cena. Cena has been consitently putting on the best matches and drawing the most money for a decade now.

Cena has been consitently putting on the best matches and drawing the most money for a decade now. if i were in control of wwe creative, i'd make roman reigns into a jon jones like character (which is already kind of naturally happening). have him seem like he's a face, as if he's actually trying to convince himself 'he's the right guy' before finally deciding to 'accept who he is' and become an extremely disruptive arrogant heel. hell, go one step further: have reigns and bryan have an on-air discussion from different feeds on the tron, and have it seem mostly cordial but daniel bryan being honest in saying you're not the right guy, it should be me. then have them think the feed gets cut - but 'little do they know' that they're still on air, and reigns starts making threats and insults towards daniel bryan, thinking he's not being heard by the audience. i think it would go over REALLY well and would make reigns an interesting heel. would be an exact copy of the cormier/jon jones feed argument.

From the recent thread about Bo Dallas not being in the Rumble got me thinking that Bo would be a great choice to manage Roman Reigns. Bo can explain that Reigns won the Royal Rumble because he BO-lieved in himself and that Bo's catch phrase has inspired Roman Reigns to be the fastest-rising wrestler in WWE. Bo is far better on the mic than Reigns, they both have very long dark hair, etc. Why not have Bo return as a manager while he's recuperating from his injury? I think it seems like a decent idea.

If not, will that be just one more reason to cancel the network?

I'd rather seem him form a buddy tag team with Cena.
They're totally a perfect match.

Reigns has to be the most talked about wrestler in the scene right now. Interesting.

Reigns has to be the most talked about wrestler in the scene right now. Interesting. Plus, all the network subscriptions. Roman Reigns is best for business. On topic this is not an idea I agree with. Bo Dallas, while good on the microphone, is not looked at seriously. Him managing Reigns would only hurt Roman's credibility. I'm all for Paul Heyman as Roman's mouthpiece IF they decide to turn him heel. But Bo Dallas is not the guy. Let him come back as the entertaining midcard act that he is.

I saw the thread title and thought "God this is going to be bad..." Sure enough... How is it bad? There are virtually no storylines at all happening right now.
