Fine. I don't have a problem with Reigns vs. Lesnar happening this year. I just don't want it to be in the main event for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.
With that being said, I would still much rather Lesnar wrestle Daniel Bryan instead, with THAT match being in the main event for the title.

No thanks. I'd prefer the Usos to face Lesnar in a handicap match than for Reigns to face in a singles

Off topic completely (sorry I didn't want to make a new thread), but am I the only one who would like to see Lesnar vs Sting?

It would have to make a little sense at least, which that matchup does not, and it's only not a match I'd ever want to see. Especially if Sting only has one match left like he says.

I love how most of the threads here now are armchair booker's offerings.

Yeah that's a good point. That would need to be like a second or third match for Sting, which I'm sure we won't get. And even if we do, Lesnar might be back in the UFC by then anyway.

Honestly I think Roman Reigns he has a long way to go as a babyface if you ask me, yes sure he is getting cheered by fans everywhere now but how long will that really last? How long before the fickle fans of the WWE Universe turn on Reigns? Hell they have already started to and just when a wrestler is at their peak, at the point or at the edge of their popularity the fans always turn on them and honestly Roman Reigns is no different
Roman Reigns watch if he wins the Royal Rumble Match look at how fast the fans will turn on him, Batista 2014 all over again but with Roman Reigns being the object of people's hatred
But honestly then why even turn Reigns babyface in the first place? They should have just kept him as a heel then and honestly Reigns' character screams heel rather than babyface anyway

Face. Just go the Goldberg route and stop talking. 3 sentence promos and tremendous feats of strength with a undefeated record or something to call his, and there you have it. No need for anything more, his music should be his pop along with his finisher.

Both. The Shield proved that. The problem with his current babyface character is that he's not fit for the role of "Smiley, comical good guy."

I believe he can work as both, but he needs to be a different kind of face. The fairy tale promos are not doing him any favors when his promos are already lackluster.
The reason that the Shield turning face worked was because they didn't change who they were. They were the same guys who were awesome enough to get cheered as heels so the transition was good. They are desperate to keep as much of the Shield going in him, and give him no character other than that. Why not just go all the way and keep him as the cool Shield guy instead of making him the guy who cuts kid promos.

I know right but at the same time making Reigns a heel would actually be better for business than making him a babyface

I do tend to think he could probably pull off cocky bunghole pretty well. How hard would it be to give him a haircut and put him in a suit, not very. He's likely never going to be a great talker but I can see working heel as a much better fit for his comfort zone, at least right now. He's obviously uncomfortable with what they're giving him so I'd like to see more of the actual "Roman Reigns" out there. If that means a heel turn then I support it.
That being said, that top role is being filled flawlessly by Seth Rollins right now. The opening for the top babyface position is his, the same way it was there for Sheamus when they had him doing all the exact same sh*t, so Cena-lite. I think Reigns is far more Batista than anything else, so this whole babyface issue is going to take care of itself, but WWE isn't going to gamble on a heel turn with him until they are forced to do it, meaning the audience is booing all the babyface stuff he's out there doing.

Exactly so in a sense the fans are going to turn Reigns heel because think about it they did it to Batista and he came back as a babyface and the WWE saw that he was getting booed like no tomorrow so what did they do? They turned Batista back into a heel so no doubt they do the same to Reigns and in part the fickle fans of the WWE are to blame

He'd be better as a cocky corporate heel.

He'd be better as a cocky corporate heel. And let's not forget his cousin The Rock was a cocky, corporate heel in The Corporation so here is hoping they take this route with Reigns too as far as The Authority goes

He's capable of both, but the character path they currently have him on is almost guaranteed to end in resentment. Especially if (when) he wins the Rumble.
