Were HBK and Razor added into the blue cards because of bad sales of the original lineup? I always thought this was one of the worst waves of guys out if it weren't for Razor and HBK.

Did anyone else buy the WCW Galoob ring for the cage and then drill holes into the Hasbro ring to fit the cage?

The Razor and Shawn figures had not sold particularly better than any others, the sales dipped after the second series if I remember correctly. They had to be included at the request of the then wwf because they where guys that where being promoted heavily on tv.

Why would a ex employee bother coming on here to answer questions. Someone who worked For hasbro on all these legendary lines would have Something from the job. No pay slip? No I'd card? Not one bit of paperwork from one of the greatest toy companies on the planet this is bull I genuinely have nothing from any job that I've ever had! not to great with keeping things like that. Sorry if that is not the answer you are looking for, you can either believe me or not either is fine.

Thanks for sharing. I've always believed that the Royal Rumble influenced the line up and therefore your earlier comment about Bob Bucklund makes sense.

Well thanks dude, and I most certainly am not trolling anyone here. I cannot provide any proof for you unfortunately. I can answer your questions as best I can, and if you don't think I'm legit then that's A-OK.

We are not talking about toys from 100 years ago here! Not that I'm doubting you. I actually hope that you WERE an employee. But you have to remember that the people on here are hardcore wrestling figure fans. Very passionate. I think if you can get proof from a colleague that would definitely put people at ease.

I am trying to reach an old colleague via LinkedIn so will let you know.
I have no idea why Mr Hughes was not included, wwf sent us the list of figures they wanted to create and their choices had nothing to do with us. Often they would request prototypes and select which ones to go with, as you know things changed quite rapidly in wwf so they were always changing their minds with selections.

Can you remember which prototypes were made but not selected to proceed into full production?

There was a Beverley Brothers tag team set, a Shawn Michaels, and several protist that had been sent in 1992 I recall but the wwf opted to go with a British Bulldog figure instead.
