Maybe it's just me but, I still don't see how he was being treated so badly. It's not just you. I don't understand why so many people are saying he was treated so bad when CM Punk WAS that top guy every time I see WWE Posters, Merchandise,Etc I see Him on it just as much as John Cena, Randy Orton. He's One of WWE top stars he's one of the longest running wwe champions he's headline several Wrestlemania's he's done it all there's NO reason why he should be complaining or pissed off at all.

Headliners (IMO) are the Top guys of The WWE who are promoted the most for a special event when it comes to WM you usually see Posters and tv commercials with the Top guys of the company CM Punk WAS one of the headliners as well as Cena, Orton, Rock, HHH, Hogan, etc. When WWE Promotes WM They Usually use all the top money Makers and most popular Superstars and CM Punk Is One of them.He walked into a WM as WWE Champion and Walked out at WM as the WWE Champion he may not Had Been on the Last Match but his match was one of the Headliners of WM.

The first thing that popped into my mind when I read this was...think of how many sh*t sandwiches Undertaker had to eat through the years. I think you mean kane. Taker is one of the most protected wrestlers ever. Kane never really had to eat crap. He put himself where he is. I have read more than a few times that WWE wanted to make him a champ and he refused and he just likes putting younger guys over and helping them

Sadly I don't think Punk is EVER going on last at WrestleMania. While he is a workhorse, when he is motivated, sadly he isn't one of the "Top Draws" that gets the last spot on Mania.
His best chance came when he was WWE Champion, but he was pushed down for Rock/Cena which to be honest was the draw of WrestleMania 29. I don't think it should have gone on last (in my opinion the WWE Championship should always be last at Mania).
CM Punk will always be remembered as the longest reigning WWE of the last 25 years, and sadly that doesn't seem to be enough for his ego, which is just a shame.

If I were to book a CM Punk WrestleMania main event it would be as follows:
Bryan loses the title at Night of Champions via MITB. He wins it back at Survivor Series or TLC. Punk returns at RR 2015 as a face at number 30 and wins the Rumble. The next night he turns heel and verbally tears Bryan, WWE, etc. to shreds. At WrestleMania Bryan wins, but in a rematch at Extreme Rules Punk wins.

Foley on Punk: “I am kind of like a ghost that drifts in and out of WWE, but in my past three years of drifting, I have never been to a WWE event where Punk was not in considerable pain, ice packs, heating pads, and visits to the trainer were as much a part of his daily routine as eating, sleeping and wrestling. Performing at that level, in that degree of pain, was only possible when accompanied by the passion that turned an unlikely indie kid into one of the greatest WWE superstars of his generation. Once that passion’s gone, then so are all of the things that made him great. I know what it feels like to go through the motions, and to do what needs to be done solely for the paycheck. It’s not pretty, and though I have not talked to Punk since the night before he left, I have to believe he has too much respect for what he does to let people see him going through the motions. If or when that day comes when C.M. Punk returns to WWE, I hope it’s with that same passion that made so many of you care about him to begin with.”

Even though punk is better in every aspect. Should have been a triple threat at wm29

If THE MIZ can go on last and main event mania..than there's hope that CM Punk will if he returns If they're building to a Cena vs Austin main event at 32, maybe Cena vs Punk could main event 31 as a setup for Austin to come down and give Cena a stunner. Other than that, probably not.

I think he'll stay away for a while until he gets the itch again, and will try and return under a Lesnar type deal.
