So I want the Wyatts but I know there are Elites coming of all 3. I'm going to wait on the Elites like I did with shield. However, with the Uso's I'm banking on the fact that they won't make Elites, so I'll grab the battle pack.
What about you? Is it a MUST to get the very first fig of a superstar regardless of it being basic or elite? Are you patient like me?

I just wait most of the time. I plan on saving some money buy just buying Elite Bray, then getting the Rowan/Harper BP.

Elites all the way! Unless I need a couple parts off the basic. Only basics I'll consider are suited ones (including Zeb), and divas

Doesn't matter Basic or Elite as long as it is a wrestler or figure I like I will buy it.

I'm going to buy both because where I'm a MOC collector having the First Time in Line is like having a Rookie Card...lol

I generally wait for elites if I know they're coming or if the basics aren't that good. Fandango, I thought his basic was neat and kinda wanted it, but then had to pick up E27 Fandango. With The Shield, I waited, but now I want to grab B37 and BP26 to keep MOC.

Hold out for Elites. Unless I think that Basic will be the only figure we got of that certain person in question.

Elites because i like to play with my figures and basics arent as flexible. Also Elites always look better when displayed but if their prices continue to go up ill be stopping collecting figs altogether!

For the Wyatts I'm going Elite because the Bray is amazing as an Elite and falls short in detail for me on the Basic. I wasn't too fond of the Harper and Rowan pack but it's irrelevant because I want that chair. I like Basics though, and I like displaying Basics with Elite accessories. I fall into buying both plenty of the time. As a display only guy, I prefer the stability of Basics and how they stand. The articulation really doesn't matter to me and I still think that torso joint is hideous. Plus, guys like Bryan, Swagger, Mr. Perfect, all look better with the fuller torso that Basics usually provide. It just depends really. I don't understand the Elite elitists though. Great figures are great figures to me and we've gotten lots of both.

When basic Fandango was as bad as he turned out to be i made a vow to wait for the elite version of new characters from now on . . . . more waiting but better product in the end. The only basics I get now are for a select MOC collection I am building

Elites, unless I am fairly sure there will never be an elite

I'm an elite collector only but have traded for basics just for parts. Then I'll resell or trade the bodies in the classifieds.

Elites; unless I am reasonably sure they won't get them. Sometimes if there is an attire choice I just really prefer on the basic I will get that.

I like them both, so it really depends on who it is. Generally, I approach it on a figure by figure basis. If I'm really impressed with the elite, or it comes with an accessory that I consider must-have, I go with elite. If it's someone like Wade Barrett, Ted DiBiase, Ryback or Curtis Axel... I'm fine with the basic.

Mostly I wait for elites. If I buy any basics it usually because that person doesn't have an elite figure, its a battle pack with an accessory I want (Taker's Urn, Bray's rocking chair), or its an RVD figure with a new singlet design.

My current roster is all Basics. That way I can have a fuller more updated roster at all times.
