RIP Ultimate Warrior. My heart goes goes out to his wife and his "Warrior girls"

What's the latest on the cause? Or have new details not been released yet? Last I heard he "clenched his chest and went down" and had some sort of "catastrophic medical condition"

Last I heard he "clenched his chest and went down" and had some sort of "catastrophic medical condition" No real updates, but considering his dad died at 57, and his grandfather also in his 50s of a heart attack, his family history played a big role.

I dont know if I am reading too much into it, or if anyone else as said this already, but I think both him and his wife knew something was wrong, not saying they knew he was going to die right away, but I just have a feeling they knew he wasnt well, and didnt have much longer, just seeing her face at the HOF, she seemed a little too emotional for him just being inducted, its like she knew he was getting his last wish, I dont know, I just hope we get some real facts about his death, would be a shame to just leave it at "heart attack"

Its possible he believed his time was nearly up because his father and grandfather both died in their 50s too, but I doubt that he knew he was dying or knew he'd be gone so soon, especially with something like a heart attack, not exactly something a doctor can predict or give you some kind of timetable for.

If warrior or wwe thought he'd die any minute I'd doubt he even be in New Orleans at all. So perhaps warrior(& family) knew he wasn't 100% well but i doubt anyone thought it would be so soon.

I don't know really what to say, I've been a supporter of his for years, I'm sad to see him go. I'm glad the WWE sorted everything out with him and he was able to be apart of the Hall Of Fame and have his moment. Rest In Peace, he will be missed very much in my house hold.

Man....This is the hardest I've ever taken a wrestling related death. I'm still very upset as I write this. I just can't believe he's gone....I just re-watched his final appearance on Raw and it's so hard to watch that and not get emotional knowing he would be gone less than 24 hours later.
As I said before, I grew up watching Warrior and he was a BIG part of my childhood and youth, as were most of the other wrestlers that have passed away. It's just different with Warrior....I don't know...
I don't know if it's silly to get this upset or what over someone I never met or knew personally, just grew up watching him over many years.
This past weekend was SO great. I stayed up late on Saturday to watch the Hall of Fame from start to finish and watched 'Mania at a friend's place on Sunday and again stayed up very late to watch the replay of Monday Night Raw and when I finished work on Tuesday night, that's when I read the terrible, shocking news of Warrior's passing. I was floored...Without question, THE most shocked I've ever been with any wrestling related death.
And all these hours later, I'm still taking it hard, just because it's still so fresh and surreal that someone can appear on t.v. one day and drop dead the next. So unthinkable that something like that can actually happen.
It's almost like God gave Warrior those 3 days (Sat, Sun, and Mon) to make everything right only for him to take him away on Tuesday. I am so jealous and envious of those select few fans that met Warrior and got their picture taken with him on the Tuesday mere hours before he would pass away. What a LUCKY experience that was. They should hold onto that forever.
Here's a fan cam recording of Warrior's final promo on Raw:
I will never forget The Ultimate Warrior.
R.I.P.

I'm still in denial that he's gone. I've been a warrior fan since I was a kid, through the good and bad. I had the honor and privilege to have met him 2 years ago and I still remember that day like it was yesterday. May he Rest in Peace and I'll send many a prayer to his family.

Yeah I'm still finding it hard to believe that he's gone. This is definitely the most surreal wrestling death since Owen Hart. It would have been shocking even if he hadn't been on tv over the weekend, but to be at the HOF one night, Wrestlemania the next, Raw the next and then dead the next is just uncanny.
I don't think I'll ever fully comprehend what happened over these past few days. It's literally been on my mind every second since I found out on Wednesday morning.
It's so strange, that I never met the guy but his death has affected me more than losing my grandparents and even my cousin.

I work electronics/toys at our local WalMart. When I'm working in electronics I see his dvd and get thinking about it. When I'm working in toys I see his WM30 Battle Pack and get thinking about it.

Wow Hadn't been able to watch raw till now and this is just unreal, he did look bad on raw a bit when he walked but one day later and be a gone. Ridiculous, his promo seems so weird now too. Warriors gone up to join the gods.

There is a YouTube video a couple fans put up where they interviewed him in 2012 and after seeing he definitely looked healthier.
spam has a link for it.

I have heard that he forgot his heart medication in Arizona when he went to WM weekend and he thought he could power though it and get back. He had bad blood pressure and a strict diet.

From a person that was involved in WM weekend. Nobody big, but he said he didn't have his blood pressure medication. I hope it is not true. But hearing what other wrestlers/crew workers are saying about that weekend, it sounds possible.
