I called WAL*MART today and asked for Elite 22. The lady then hung up on me. eight minutes later I called back and she said: "I went and checked and there was none on the floor.I didn't see any elites.I don't think we carry those anyway. Why don't you call Toys R Us or somethin'. I know the have Elites because i hid the last E21 Rey in desperate hopes of a restock. They have the word Elite on the pegs. What they do that drives me nuts is put one basic on each Elite peg to cover up. So every time I go back to WAL*MART I put all the basics back on their shelves. Then the next time I go back I find the basics back on the Elite pegs. It drives me nuts. And if the Basics were Basic 30 or 31 it'd be ok but its..... ING SIGNATURE SERIES!!!!!!! anyone else have this problem? By the way it's been like this for a month and a half. So I'd think they'd get a case in by now.....

No, but they're just making their stock look more full. Filling spaces... ya know... their job.

No, but they're just making their stock look more full. Filling spaces... ya know... their job. Actually their job is to restock when stock becomes low or empty.

Sometimes I swear that it is company policy to say that if the figures aren't on the shelves they don't have any in stock.

Sometimes I swear that it is company policy to say that if the figures aren't on the shelves they don't have any in stock. It seems like it ! I phoned Smyths the other day and ask if they have Elite 22 yet and the bitch says "No, we should have some in soon though." I go and check the very same day and low and behold there's at least 9 of everyone in the set there.

...I know the have Elites because i hid the last E21 Rey in desperate hopes of a restock... That might be one of the worst things you could. If it doesn't get bought, it doesn't come off the inventory count. I'm not 100% sure but that could delay ordering even longer. I think Walmart might be holding back on the toys right now because they're probably going to reset soon. When I stopped by my store today, they were down to 2 Signature Series Seamus, no elites. E21 sold out about a month ago.

Coming from someone who has worked retail since I graduated (sadly), most retail stores don't like seeing empty pegs or spaces. Associates are normally told to fill spaces, so the section doesn't look empty.

This just further justifies the age old constant: Wal*Mart sucks

Well, when you hide a figure it will still be in their inventory and can cause orders they place to restock to get canceled because it still shows an inventory. So by hiding it you are sort of defeating yourself.

Considering mine sells Elites for $17, I'll put up with the shelf warmers until they restock. Right now it's those damn Sin Cara/Mysterio 2-packs that are clogging up every WalMart in a two hour radius. I probably won't see BP23 until September or October...

Just because you hide it and you it's not physically on the shelves, it's probably still in the system.

For people complaining about stores not having stuff in the back. Here is a radical idea, maybe they actually don't have more in the back.

So by hiding it you are sort of defeating yourself. I would say the easiest way to solve this is to buy the figures and return them for the ones you want when they restock

They'll restock what they need as soon as they can. They aren't paid to make you 100% satisfied.

When Elite figures are put on Basic pegs, they are in the incorrect place and under the incorrect price tags. We know damn well from reading all the posts on here that if some asshats on this message board find an Elite on a Basic peg they'll go cry to the cashier and try and get the Elite for $10.99 even though they know damn well what Elites cost. So me cleaning up the pegs is the right thing to do and I'm going to keep doing it.

The more work you're making them do makes it less likely they'll want to look in the back or restock when their asked by a customer. You wonder why they were rude? You're making their job WAY more tedious. Bite the bullet and buy some of those figures if you hate seeing them there for so long.
