No shame here. I'm 30 and I get more giddy walking into a TRU than my kids do. In fact, when I meet someone new it is one of the first things I tell them about myself including customers (I work in retial). If you don't give a sh*t no one else will give a sh*t either. Act like you have a problem, others will treat you like you have a problem.
BTW, why are we seeing a lot of this from people lately? If you have doubts about your hobby... get a new one.
It figures... people trying to figure out their figure collecting problems but can't figure it out. Go figure.

I'm a 23-year-old college graduate, and I display my favorite figures in my room. Why should I or anyone care? If I have the money to support a hobby and am still a functional member of society, why should it matter?

There was a dill-doe refrence there, right? Because of the younger readers on here i won't give you a straight answer. Read Mick Foley's autobiographies "Have a Nice Day" and "Foley is Good" for the answer. Lol this was all serious until this happened. ^

I'm 31. Every surface in my house that can be covered in actions figures...is. ;D I've never met anyone who had an issue with my buying toys. No parent honestly wants to hear that there son or daughter grew up to be gay and like the same sex. I think your parents are just in a deep pile of denial and they just refuse to see things the way they truly are. We're getting a bit deep for a wrestling figure forum aren't we? ;D A parents wish for their child to be a hetero should not always be misconstrued as their having a problem with gay people...just that no parent wants their child to be different (in any way) as they know the difficulties they will face in society. Being gay is a lot easier than being hideously deformed or blind or deaf or a serial killer...so gay kids, tell your parents to be thankful. ;D
