I was in Meijer today, the mid-west retail chain, looking for e16 which is a totally different frustrating story. I noticed a Rey Mysterio I haven't seen before, then I realized it didn't have a figure number in the upper left corner, so I look on the back and I'll be d*mn if its not another signature series set. At least I assume its a new signature series set as I haven't seen or heard of these before and I follow WWE Mattel products like a hawk. I only took a picture of the Mysterio but they had 2 others from the set there as well and guess who it was.....wait for it wait for it..... Cena and Orton, who would of guessed!!!! The Cena is exactly the same as Basic 18 and the orton is the same as all the other but the color on his trunks this time was black with blue design(the color blue like on the Mysterio in this picture). What are your guys thoughts on yet another signature series set. All of the last signature series is still clogging up the shelves, I really don't understand Mattel sometimes.

lmao @ them re-releasing the worst Rey Mysterio figure they have made yet.
I have not seen or heard of this new Signature Series. I wish they would stop with this crap.

Well so far we've been pretty lucky around here because we still haven't gotten the 2nd set...lol.
I wouldn't mind one bit of we don't get the 2nd or 3rd since there is nothing from either of them I need.

The Orton is from B19 and the Rey is in BP 17 with The Miz and Trashcan accessory.

There is absolutely no reason for them to keep making Orton this year. Retire him until 2013. He's seriously warming shelves any time he's released. My Target now has like 3 E12 Orton's left and a peg full entirely of B19 Orton...and Target's don't exactly dedicate a lot of room to the WWE stuff as it is.

Are these like the signature edition figures Jakks would release with the wrestler's signature on a leg?

DAMN IT! These Signature Series' are like toy isle suicide.....once your store gets a Signature Series it's like you might as well just close it down, because you aren't going to see any new Basics for months and months and months.
My Walmart has got 37 Signature Series and Basic 13 Rey Mysterio's literally falling off the pegs onto the floor every time I'me there. There is literally no room for anything new, so I can't see how they'll ever order anything new until they are gone and really, how the hell is this store supposed to move these figures? 37 of the same guy?
Signature Series is literally the WORST thing that has ever happened to the line.

Literally sick of seeing Reys, Ortons, and Cenas. I understand the kids love them but seriously, enough is enough. I want to walk into a retail store and not see one of those three guys. That'd be the day...

Holy crap, that is a bad bad bad series. I would love that Rey Mysterio if it wasn't for the awful scan, paint and neck.
I never see the sig series figures (which is probably a good thing), sometimes they pop up in my local market though.

Just because he is a pegwarmer by you doesn't mean he is a pegwarmer everywhere. My local stores are filled with Rey, Cena and most of E13. I went about an hour up north and found Orton nothing but Orton figures and E14. There was also Kmart that also had a few Vickie figures. And somone posted a pic of their WM about a month ago that had at least 30 + of the Brodus Clay. My area never had that set, but I'd bet that WM will never get rid of all those Brodus figures.
