Not numbered because they don't matter.
Really could've been BP14 Mason Ryan, BP16 Mcgillicutty, BP17 Trent, BP14 (rescaled)Savage, BP15 Daniel Bryan, and maybe The BP15 Rock with a shirt this time? Nah, ick, nobody'd buy those.

Sorry but that set would warm the pegs forever.
Trent - was put in a BP because Mattel said it would be the only way to release him, because he wouldn't be a strong seller by himself.
Ryan - all I see on these boards are how that 2-Pack with Orton is Pegwarming. Now he has a new singles figure coming out now that is a better looking figure and you want to have them release more of the 2-pack at the same time as the new singles? I'm sure the new figure will be sitting once the area collectors get theirs.
Mcgillicutty - like Trent needs to be in a 2-pack to boost his sales, because again once the area collectors get him who will buy him over someone the kids/parents see on Raw or SD weekly?
Bryan - might sell well with collectors, but again there's the update best of coming out. And as a heel he won't be as high in demand with the kids.
Macho - might sell well. And would probably be the only one on your list besides Mcgillicutty I'd buy, but what's the point of it if they aren't releasing anymore basic Heritage figures? Just make him a Flashback
Rock - seeing the released solid cases of that set where again everyone on the boards say they have sitting at their stores why release another of it with or without a shirt. At least make him a rerelease of the SSH ring attire Rock if they need to put another basic Rock out.

I am actually glad because I love this Mysterio color scheme but didn't want to buy the battle pack for it. Now I can buy this! Thanks for posting.

Why can't they use this series to re-release figures that were popular and went fast and were hard to find? Wouldn't that make more sense than just clogging up the pegs for months?

I don't get Mattels logic that they won't produce people who aren't on TV yet Orton and Rey are never on ing TV yet they get figures every set. Yet people who are on superstars and NXT every single week cannot get figures....

No more repaints. Only make a guy if he has special attire or a remake of his look.

Yet people who are on superstars and NXT every single week cannot get figures.... Don't be a moron. The idea of "TV time = figures" is that they don't want to make figures of wrestlers who people have never heard of. Just because Rey Mysterio or Randy Orton take some time off for injuries/suspensions doesn't suddenly make them less well-known than Tyler Reks or Percy Watson. I suspect you already know all of this, too, so I don't get why you even posted that.

So Mattel made 2-Packs of Miz and Mysterio and then Mysterio is later re-released as a single? Doesn't this just make the 2-Pack rot on the shelves longer?

I don't get Mattels logic that they won't produce people who aren't on TV yet Orton and Rey are never on ing TV yet they get figures every set. Yet people who are on superstars and NXT every single week cannot get figures.... Like it or not Cena, Rey, Orton & Taker are the faces of the company. They are the names everyone knows. So they will always be released because at the end of the day Mattel the WWE and Retailers know if there are 100 Cena, Rey & Orton figures sitting on the pegs along with 100 Hawkins, Ryder, Trent figures they know the Cena/Rey/Orton will sellout long before the others do because they are the stars of the WWE. It would be like a Batman line not having Batman in it. It won't happen...retailers always want more of the Heroes. And what is Superstars and NXT? I sort of remember NXT being on Sci-Fi around the time when the new ECW cr@p was on. But seriously aren't they both "on-line" shows now? If so who really watches them? Shows like that and their stars are really non-existent as far as the general public is concerned. Meaning collectors are a very small portion of Mattel's targeted consumer. Hell with the exception of the Elites all of our "Collectors" lines are canceled. And with the Elites they still have to have an appeal to the casual fans/kids to make it at retail. They (Mattel,Retailers & the WWE) all want the names that the parents, kids, casual fans know. And I'm sure most barely know the big names on RAW or Smackdown so why would they want to buy someone they never heard of?

Might get the Orton if it has his new head scan. He said it's the Basic 19 rerelease so I would say it does then.

Why would Mattel even waste resources on someone that can be released from the WWE before his figure even hits the store? Some are taking "TV Time = Figures" too literally. Anyways, are those signature series really necessary? Aren't 12 Basics waves per year enough?

I've never understood why so many people on here are against lower card wrestlers getting figures. I think it's been proven by Mattel that if released in small doses, these guys will sell fine. I mean honestly, how many Elite Yoshi Tatsu's or Uso 2 packs do you see rotting on the shelves? I don't think anyone (at least not me) is saying they should be in every series at 3 per case because that would be ridiculous. However, is it really going to hurt anything if you throw a lower card guy in 1 or 2 Basic or Battle Pack series a year at .5 or 1 per case? The answer is no and that is why we're finally getting guys like Barretta and Hawkins.
As far as the new Signature Series goes, I pray to God that it doesn't make it to any stores in my area. It's bad enough around here already. The last thing we need is more Cena/Rey/Orton's to clog the shelves.

I actually saw the Rey and Cena figs at Shopko of all places yesterday. The shocker was that they also had E15 Yoko (which i picked up and posted for sale and trade on the classifieds board) in the first time that I had ever seen it, but I was none too pleased to see another horrendous sign series. My K Mart and Walmart still have literally multiples of every figure. Target still has Kane and Orton. Kill these bastard series off already.
