I think Mattels are like a perfected version of what R3's where supposed to be like, which happened to be my favorite Jakks figures.

I just wish Mattel would continue a whole line of Flashbacks/ Legends for numerous series like Jakks did but other than that, nothing. I have never complained about one thing Mattel did in 2 years. A very very small couple of choice head scans i did not like, but i still enjoy Mattel's over all attention to detail, articulation, accessories they chose to give us and names they have given us so far.

THe main thing i miss was a regular classics line. I remember salivating as news of new signed legends would roll in and seeing the new line ups for the legends roster. Also ringside accesories.

I miss getting lineups & protos on a regular consistent basis. Seems like its like every 3-4 months we get new elite lineup info, then protos a week before they are released

all belts were shiny. thats all i miss about jakks. But none were painted:/ The only thing I really miss is the large amount of playsets and weapons/accessories.

Mattel is much better thank Jakks. The only thing i miss is the classic series being on its own.

Jakks could texture hair and beards perfectly. Not always, but more often than not, that was never an issue. With Mattel, we don't know if someone with brown hair will have it be converted to orange, and their facial hair and highlights and things are often "simplified" in the design process.
Relating to the above, jeans having a 'wash' deco to make them look like jeans.
I liked Jakks' themed packaging. Some of their later ones were very cool looking. But on the same token, I do like the uniformed look Basics and Elites have.
Obviously, the old school guys being a regularly concurring line.
The months and months it takes for some stores to stock new items. I don't recall this being much of an issue with Jakks.

The title belts! It seemed like so many guys came with belts and having the 1 of 500 special belts actually being of an actual title instead of a huge oversized plate like Mattel has. I love Mattel's belts alot more than Jakks', but it would be so great if we got belts as often as we did with Jakks for Mattel.

The distribution, with Mattel I bet it will only get worse. I also miss the different style of packaging for each series and the classic superstars.

I miss the half ass paint jobs, the lack of detail in figures, the same body and biceps for multiple figures who're not actually the same size and I really miss Cookie sheets!
I also miss figures that look NOTHING...not even close to their prototypes. I miss figures being shown and then never released. Oh yes and I miss Chinese New Year!

Jakks definitely win in that regard, RA41 Chris Jericho is a fine example.

The only things I miss about Jakks was the variety of superstars, certain highlights in facial hair, hair and softer kneepads. Everything else Mattel has done better hands down.
