RVD/Show in Extreme Rules is the good route to go. Finish to the Pitbulls match made sense, that's been a very solid undercard rivalry. Hopefully Awesome beats Balls when they fight. Slightly surprised to see Punk win but I'm fine with it. I've liked how you have used him thus far. Main event segment was fine; Angle better take care of CW. Cannot wait for Angle/Funk.

Great opening segment with RVD/Show. I can see Show winning this time though, as much as I don't want him to. Glad DOA won and it makes sense for Knox and Test to interfere there. Good Knox promo there, the match against Balls will be intense. Great win for Punk there over Al Snow. Keep pushing him. Nice ending segment. I'm pretty sure Angle will go over Anderson but make it competitive. Funk beating up Angle works for the ending. Keep it up man.

Decent opening promo to kick off ECW on Sci-Fi, with Paul Heyman adressing Big Show's recent assault on him. Should be decent for Big Show against Rob Van Dam at Hardcore Heaven. Decent opening tag team contest, but really not a fan of how The Pitbulls, Jamie Noble and Kid Kash were handled. They were pretty much jobbed out here to Kevin Thorn and Brian Lee. Mike Awesome against Balls Mahoney in a Taipei Deathmatch...Can never see that being done in WWECW. I understand you're doing it differently, but I'm not a fan of that idea. CM Punk beating Al Snow is predictable, hope you don't entirely job out Snow and Justin Credible. Decent closing promo, Kurt Angle to take on CW Anderson? Interesting.

ECW News and Notes: August 30, 2006
ECW drew a 3.0 rating, officials are extremely happy with the show’s ability to draw.
The Taipei Death Match between Mike Awesome and Balls Mahoney has been nicked by Vince McMahon. Paul Heyman will now have to book these two men in a different match for Hardcore Heaven. Depending on the success of Hardcore Heaven, ECW may continue to run tri-monthly specials to give them a PPV equal.
At one point, Justin Credible and Al Snow were going to be released from ECW; however, it seems they might be sticking around.
There are rumors circulating that ECW will be become a 90 minute program.
Paul Heyman is still trying to convince Vince McMahon to not drop the belt to The Big Show.

Briefly looked over this one, and it seems you are keeping the ECW feel to it, which is really good, seeing some of the superstars you are using. I would like to see ECW run to a 90 minute program.

September 5th, 2006. Pregame War
The ECW on Sci-Fi introduction video plays which is proceeded by a small arrangement of pyrotechnics. We than quickly cut to Joey Styles and Tazz, who are our broadcast team for the night, as they welcome us to the ECW on the Sci-Fi Network. Joey Styles and Tazz quickly hype tonight’s show which will feature Kurt Angle taking on C.W Anderson, The Full Blooded Italians taking on Tommy Dreamer and Sandman and Paul Heyman making huge announcements!
Opening Contest: Full Blooded Italians – Little Guido & Tony Mamaluke w/ Trinity versus ECW Originals – Tommy Dreamer & Sandman ECW Tag Team Championship Tournament
These two teams have been feuding for awhile and this match should be an even more intense battle as they are both striving to enter the finals of the ECW Tag Team Championship Tournament. The Full Blooded Italians are undefeated in tag competition thus far. The match is hard hitting with all four men getting in plenty of offense. The FBI start to gain the advantage when they isolate Tommy Dreamer from Sandman and use quick tags to beat him down. The crowd really rallies behind Dreamer who eventually nails a huge ddt on Little Guido and crawls to make the hot tag to Sandman. The match continues for awhile with Sandman keeping good offense over Little Guido, the legal opponent. Eventually, Trinity hops on the apron, distracting the referee, which allows Guido to hit a low blow. Guido tags in Mamaluke he lays out Sandman with a vicious piledriver for the win. Guido attacks Dreamer which allows Mamaluke to gain the pinfall over Sandman.
Winners: The Full Blooded Italians – Little Guido & Tony Mamaluke w/ Trinity
After the match the Disciples of Apocalypse come out and stare down their opponents for next week that will crown the ECW Tag Team Champions.
<<<<<Commercial>>>>>
In the back, The Big Show is standing by. He says that is one week’s time it will be Hardcore Homecoming, ECW on Sci-Fi’s first ever 2 hour special event. He says on that very night he will get a second chance for Rob Van Dam’s ECW Heavyweight Championship. He says that he will prevail and Rob Van Dam will be destroyed!
Match Two: C.M Punk versus Super Crazy versus Justin Credible Triple Threat Match
This match was shockingly a phenomenal match considering it only got roughly eight minutes to unfold. All three men were able to get in some major offense and the three men work together very well. Justin Credible surprised everyone when he crashed onto Super Crazy with a beautiful moonsault. Other note worthy spots included C.M Punk missing a suicide dive that was intended for Super Crazy, Justin Credible getting his ribbed smashed over the guardrail by Super Crazy, and Super Crazy hitting a muscle-buster on C.M Punk. The end of the match came when Justin Credible hit the That’s Incredible on Super Crazy and C. M Punk nailed Credible with a roundhouse kick, followed by the GTS for the victory!
Winner: C. M Punk
<<<<<Commercial>>>>>
Paul Heyman, Balls Mahoney and Mike Awesome are standing in the ring when we come back from commercial. Paul Heyman says he found out some disappointing news this week. He continues that although he wanted to see the match as much as everyone else did, Vince McMahon has barred a Taipei Death Match from taking place. This leaves Paul Heyman with the burden of finding another stipulation crazy enough to stop the madness that is unfolding between Balls Mahoney and Mike Awesome. He says after thinking all week about it, he has decided the match will be a First Blood Match! Mike Awesome then grabs the microphone and says that he will enjoy watching Balls Mahoney bleed to death. Balls Mahoney rebuts by saying it will be Mike Awesome that ends up in the hospital because of him wounds. Balls Mahoney then leaves the ring.
We cut to the back where Test, Mike Knox and Jazz are standing by. They say at Hardcore Homecoming The Pitbulls’ fun will end.
<<<<<Commercial>>>>>
Rob Van Dam is in the back. He says that no man will defeat him for his ECW Heavyweight Championship and at Hardcore Homecoming he will prove why everyone calls him ‘Mr. Pay Per View!’
Main Event: C.W Anderson w/ Terry Funk versus Kurt Angle
This match defined what wrestling was all about. The crowd was extremely behind C.W Anderson and gave Kurt Angle the proper heat he deserves. The match was a hard hitting match and also showcased how phenomenal submission wrestling can be. Both men got in plenty of offense with Kurt Angle hitting hard strikes and his signature supplex maneuvers and C.W Anderson beating down Kurt Angle with vicious uppercuts and slam maneuvers. The end came when Kurt Angle leveled Anderson with an Angle Slam. He then locked in the Ankle Lock and Anderson looked like he was going to tap. Before he could, Terry Funk hit the ring with a chair and nailed Angle in the back causing the referee to call for a disqualification.
Winner: Kurt Angle by disqualification
After the match Terry Funk unleashed lefts and rights on Angle who retaliates with his own punches. The show closes with the two legends throwing punches and neither man gaining the upper hand!

Awesome opening match. I am glad the FBI picked up the win over the ECW Originals. Awesome match description. Nice Big Show segment. I enjoyed it. Match #2 was awesome. I could see the three put up an awesome match against each other. Glad Punk got the win to put him more over. Awesome Paul Heyman segment. Awesome main event. Glad Kurt Angle got the win. I enjoyed the main event. Interesting show you got there. I enjoyed it. I can't wait for Hardcore Heaven. Solid ECW show.

Well written start to the show, card looks nice The FBI beating the ECW Originals would be a great match, I hope the FBI get the titles at the end of this tournament. Disciples of Apocalypse coming down is fine too Nice Big Show promo, really adds intensity to the RVD/Show feud CM Punk winning the triple threat is good, I liked Punk even at this stage in his WWE Career, him winning really gets him over Good Heymen/Balls/Awesome promo, first blood match should be cool make it have an epic ending Pitbulls fun ending? We'll see ;o RVD's mini-promo adds more to the Hardcore Homecoming match, I wonder who will win I like C.W Anderson vs Angle ending in a DQ, I like the show ending with 2 members of a major ECW feud exchanging blows adding heat going into Hardcore Homecoming, Overall good ECW, I liked it.

This is still going strong dude and the Hardcore Heaven card is shaping up very nicely and should be a good read. Anyway onto the most recent show, nice to see the show start with the tag title tournament, expected the FBI to advance although I don't see them winning the tournament. The triple threat match sounded nice, although a triple threat match with no real achievement for the victor seems out of place. The Awesome/Balls segment was nice, although a first blood match seems a bit weak for people who want to kill each other. Main event was good, nice to see Angle pick up the win and Anderson still made to look strong, the Funk/Angle feud has been great and I love when shows end in a brawl, overall great stuff, keep it up.

Decent way to kick off ECW on Sci-Fi, with the Tuesday 5th September 2006 edition. Decent tag team match there, with the Full Blooded Italians getting a clean victory over The Sandman and Tommy Dreamer? Hmm, I'm unsure how I feel about that, but I do like that Little Guido and Tony Mamaluke are getting a decent push in the ECW World Tag Team Championship tournament. The Disciples of the Apocalypse look like they will murder the FBI though, I can't see it being too competitive of a tournament final. By the way the tournament brackets image is broken. Decent three-way match, CM Punk beating Super Crazy and Justin Credible is fine, I'm liking this heel gimmick that Punk has and how every ECW original is trying to get their hands on him. Nice way out of the Taipei Deathmatch stipulation, another week to wait for Mike Awesome and Balls Mahoney, I hope Awesome gets close to the ECW World Heavyweight Championship area, soon. Solid main event to close down the show.

Good opening match, really pushing FBI there. Makes them look good but it looks meh for Sandman/Dreamer. Somewhat random triple threat match, but I like it. Punk winning is fine although I hope Credible eventually gets used for something. Awesome/Balls in a FB blood match is good, hopefully Awesome wins. Fine way to end the show, really cannot wait for Angle/Funk.

ECW News and Notes: September 6, 2006
ECW drew a 3.1 rating. This is a good sign as next week is the very first two hour special ECW has ever had. Officials are confident the two hour show will gain good ratings as they feel the card is very good. Officials have been pleased with the first 13 weeks of ECW so expect the product to stay the way it currently is.
As reported last week, Vince McMahon nicked the idea of a Taipei Death Match after it was announced on nation television. Many were angry over Vince McMahon’s decision; yet, on the other hand many are pleased to see the match not take place. Many feel the first blood match will be a good replacement for Mike Awesome and Balls Mahoney to battle it out in.
There are rumors that TNA star Rhino may be leaving the company. Company officials have taken note of Rhino’s possible departure and if he does depart, expect the company to send him a contract.
A few weeks ago, one may remember the report that and Nick Cvjetkovich would be signing with WWE. Obviously, the two could not reach an agreement. The two parties may try again to form a new deal in the future, but as for now do not expect him to be joining the company.
As of now, the finish for the ECW Heavyweight Championship match is undecided. Vince McMahon is pulling for The Big Show but almost everyone else is pulling for Rob Van Dam to retain.
The Breaking Point and Pitbulls feud should end next week at Hardcore Heaven with both teams going their separate ways. It is unclear on where the men and women will go creatively after the rivalry ends.
Many are unsure about the finals for the ECW Tag Team Championships. Although D.O.A are tweeners, many feel the crowd accepts them as heels so the match will come off as a heel versus heel match, most likely. It is unsure who will walk out tag championships are both men are very popular.

Decent opening contest, and while its great to see the FBI getting the win, I just felt it was really unrealistic for them to go over Sandman and Dreamer. Solid triple threat match, it reminded me of the original ECW, nice to see Punk picking up the win. Good to see the Taipei deat match being cut, there was no way in the world WWE would ever hold a match like that. Decent main event, good to see the Angle/ Funk feud being built up properly. Solid show overall, hardcore homecoming should be a fun show.

Breaking News: September 11, 2006
Terry Gerin, Rhino, has been released from his contract with Total Nonstop Action. The reasons for his release are unknown but some are speculating it may be related to a dispute with Jeff Jarrett.
At this time it is unknown if the World Wrestling Entertainment will try to contact Terry Gerin to make a return to the company. The last time he was inside a WWE ring was June 12, 2005 at the first ECW One Night Stand.
Terry Gerin was released after he embarrassed himself at a post-Wrestlemania party after getting into a heated argument with his wife.
Rhino made his wrestling debut in 1994 and worked for ECW, WWE and TNA during his tenure in the business. He is a former ECW Heavyweight and Television champion, WWE Hardcore champion, a WCW United States champion and a NWA World Heavyweight champion.
More on this story when it becomes available.
