• John Cena defeated Sabu in a non-title match by Disqualification.
Big Show caused interference which resulted in the Disqualification. The WWE and ECW lockerooms would then pour out resulting in a huge brawl.
June 9, 2006 Smackdown

Tazz then quit the Smackdown Broadcast Team to return home to ECW. At the same time, Paul Heyman came out and the two men greeted each other with a hug. Paul Heyman than called out Rey Mysterio and asked him if he had came to his conclusion. Rey thanks Paul Heyman for everything he has done for him, but he has decided that he belongs on Smackdown. Paul claims he respects him and wishes him the best of luck because he will need it.
Later on in the night, Rey Mysterio faced off against Fit Finlay. Fit Finlay wins the match by interference from Sabu. Sabu than assaulted Rey Mysterio and set him on a table, on the floor, and did a triple-jump leg-drop through the Table!

June 12, 2006 Creative Meeting
All wrestlers have seemed to come out of One Night Stand without any serious injuries. Mick Foley did require some stitches and Terry Funk, Rey Mysterio and Sabu were a little banged up.
Vince McMahon and his creative team have been discussing the debut episode of ECW. Last night Pay Per View is estimated at about .75 buys. McMahon seems to be slightly disappointed with the numbers, but they are still solid numbers. Paul Heyman is heading the creative side of ECW with Vince McMahon overseeing him.
ECW is going to feature both ECW alumni and become the breeding ground for up-coming stars. Vince McMahon seems incredibly happy with the idea of a show that can breed new superstars and produce ratings.
ECW will soon stand alone as a third brand with any interference from Raw ending at Vengeance.

Nice, lengthy backstory here. Should be good. Wondering what you will end up doing with Kurt Angle, and who you will end up bringing in aside from Punk.

Being one of the few seemingly around here who never cared much for the Original ECW, I am hoping you eventually get rid of the likes of Sandman. While he is a great charicter, the guy has nothing else. Here's hoping you bring in Tanaka and Tajiri as full time guys though, both are very awesome to watch. The backstory was nicely written, love all the short Creative meeting parts. If anything happens like it did in reality, I would love to see Test brought in. Except, put the title on him. Good luck with this.

I'm new here, so hey Yeah, the backstory looks great by the way. I liked how Mick Foley and Edge shared the hardcore championship, and found it pretty funny when Heyman called Foley a prostitute. Not much to say besides One Night Stand II looked good, and so did WWE VS ECW...] And it could just be my computer screen, but the only heel on your roster is Jazz...

June 13, 2006 An Extreme Debut A video recap of ECW: One Night Stand 2006 is shown. Quickly following airs the ECW on Sci-Fi introduction video which is proceeded by a small arrangement of pyrotechnics. We than quickly cut to Joey Styles and Tazz, who are our broadcast team for the night, as they welcome us to the first ever edition of ECW on the Sci-Fi Network.
Paul Heyman’s music hits and he makes his way out to the ring. Paul is carrying what appears to be a velvet belt holder. Paul Heyman steps in the ring and hypes up the crowd by putting over how significant the return of ECW is. Paul goes on to talk about the success of One Night Stand and how happy he is that Rob Van Dam took home a championship for ECW! Paul than asks Rob Van Dam to come to the ring. Rob Van Dam’s music hits and the crowd goes wild. Rob enters the ring and is still holding possession of the WWE Championship. Paul once again congratulates Rob on his victory last night and rewards him with the ECW Heavyweight Championship. Paul mentions how this is history in the making as this is Rob Van Dam’s first reign as ECW Heavyweight Champion. Rob Van Dam gets on the microphone and talks about how grateful he is to all his fans and how the ECW Heavyweight Championship is the most meaningful title to him. Rob than throws down the WWE Championship and celebrates as the ECW Heavyweight Champion! Quickly, we cut to the back where we see Kurt Angle watching a television monitor and shaking his head is disapproval at the actions of Rob Van Dam.

Opening Contest: Danny Doring & Roadkill versus Full Blooded Italians (Tony Mamaluke and Little Guido) w/ Trinity
The match was a short contest that showcased all four ECW alumni well. Danny Doring matched up well with both Tony Mamaluke and Little Guido. Roadkill showed that he still can be a dominate big man as he quickly dominated everyone that stood in his way. The end came a bit prematurely, but they couldn’t have all night either. Little Guido got the pinfall on Roadkill after Trinity distracted the referee and Tony Mamaluke smashed his head with a chair.
Winners: Full Blooded Italians
Post match the FBI celebrated in the ring and acted like heels as they taunted Roadkill and Danny Doring for their lose. A video hypes tonight’s main event as a ten man battle royal for a shot at the ECW Heavyweight Championship.
<<<<<Commercial>>>>>
A hype video for Kurt Angle airs.
Backstage Tommy Dreamer is standing by with Beulah McGillacutty. Tommy talks about his tag team match at One Night Stand and speaks about how brutal the match was. He says for medical reasons he can not compete tonight, but states that next week the ECW alumni will be in action. He also comments that Terry Funk, who is banged up from One Night Stand, will be here next week as well.
Match Two: C.W. Anderson versus Kurt Angle
The match starts off with some good back and forth action. At one point Anderson begins to get an upper hand and the crowd really gets behind him, hoping for an upset victory. C.W. Anderson is able to connect with his devastating Spinebuster, but Kurt Angle kicks out. From there on, Kurt maintains his offense and puts Anderson away after an Angle Slam and Ankle Lock.
Winner: Kurt Angle
Post match, Kurt Angle grabs a microphone and begins to turn on the fans. He calls ECW and a joke and claims Rob Van Dam made a mockery of himself tonight. He says the WWE Championship is more prestigious than anything that was created in a Bingo Hall. He goes on to say that he will save ECW and soon will be the ECW Heavyweight Champion just to smock everything that is ‘hardcore’.
<<<<<Commercial>>>>>
As we return from break, a blonde hair girl is performing a strip tease on stage. The announcers refer to her as Kelly Kelly and as she goes to remove her bra, a mysterious bearded man throws a towel on her and forces her off stage. A video playing highlights from ECW One Night Stand airs and reminds us that we can catch a special encore presentation all week long!
Rob Van Dam and Paul Heyman make their way out to arena and join Joey Styles and Tazz on commentary, the battle royal is next!
<<<<<Commercial>>>>>
Main Event: Ten Man Battle Royal Winner receives a match for ECW Heavyweight Championship The Big Show, Sabu, Sandman, Balls Mahoney, Justin Credible, Stevie Richards, Al Snow, Super Crazy, Big Guido and Mike Awesome
Mike Awesome made a shocking debut to ECW and seemed to be in good shape. The match was a giant brawl and from the start the crowd was very behind Sandman and Sabu. Big Show was easily the most dominate force eliminating Justin Credible and Al Snow early on in the match. Super Crazy would be the next eliminated after a huge big boot from Mike Awesome. Stevie Richards would find himself double teamed by Sandman and Sabu and tossed over the top rope shortly after. Sabu then attacked Sandman and beat him down pretty well. Sabu went for a moonsault off the top rope, but Big Show knocked him off the top rope and to the floor below, eliminating him. Big Guido, who was a dud in the match, found himself eliminated by Mike Awesome after a little struggle. The Final Four are Big Show, Sandman, Mike Awesome and Balls Mahoney. Show and Awesome quickly lock us, as Sandman takes a breather and Balls slides to the outside to get a chair. Balls renters the match with the chair and gives all three men a few good whacks. Sandman would than find himself eliminated by Balls Mahoney. Balls Mahoney would then instantly be eliminated by The Big Show; leaving Mike Awesome and The Big Show to do battle. Show and Awesome exchange huge punches at one another, but Show was able to get the upperhand and toss Mike Awesome out of the ring.
Winner: The Big Show
The Big Show celebrates, but Rob Van Dam quickly slides into the ring and stands face to face, figuratively speaking, with The Big Show. Paul Heyman rushes in to try and keep peace. Show pushes Heyman out of the way and wraps his hand around the throat of Rob Van Dam. Rob Van Dam would find himself on the receiving end of a chokeslam as the crowd stood in shock. Big Show picked up the ECW Heavyweight Champion and held it high above his head as the first edition on ECW on Sci-Fi comes to a close.

Good opening segment, had to have Heyman come out. Like the note this was RVD's first reign. I hope you say what ends up happening though with the WWE Title. Fine tag match there for a change of pace. I hope you make Angle a force here on ECW, somewhat similar to Tazz but not exactly. Glad you're using Mike Awesome, hope he eventually gets a title shot. Big Show winning the battle royal is cool. Nice start so far, realistic and interesting show.

Yeah, the first show was really solid, no complaints. Like that you're still using Mike Awesome and hope he gets a title run. Big Show vs Van Dam should be entertaining but I'm hoping for a few Kurt Angle vs Rob Van Dam matches to happen.

Hehe, ECW on SciFi! first thing I notice is that I like the layout. Nice opening promo - I like him being awarded the ECW Belt Not too familiar with Roadkill or Danny Doring to be honest, glad FBI got the win here ten man battle royal for a ECW Title shot... nice Angle had to win .CW Winning would have been obvious. Hehe, the Kelly Kelly/Mike Knox thing hey, wonder what youll make different... Ten Man Battle royal is fine, Show winning is alright and I'm interested to see how you work Big Show vs RVD Nice way to end it with Show holding the title up high as ECW went off air. Overall good show, not really anywhere I can say to improve at this stage

-Liked RVD throwing down the WWE Title and and RVD/Angle feud can be great -No Zombie in the opening match ;D, glad you showcased Doring & Roadkill -Obvious that Angle was going to win, but push CW, he was awesome. Love heel Angle -Interesting that you kept the Kelly Kelly stuff. Wonder if it's Knox that put the towel on her -RVD/Show should be good, but please do not put the belt on Show
Good first show, hope you do ECW some justice and so far, you have

ECW News and Notes: June 14, 2006 The debut episode of ECW of Sci-Fi drew a tremendous 2.8 rating. Vince McMahon seems ecstatic about the numbers and fells the ratings will stay in this ballpark and eventually grow; however, other top officials feel the ratings will diminish as the weeks go by. Many feel that people were interested this Tuesday because it was the debut of a super hyped wrestling show. Officials are trying to stay optimistic though.
The Original plan with Rob Van Dam was for him to defend the WWE Championship against John Cena and Edge at Vengeance. That plan has been scrapped. Vince McMahon pulled the plug when Paul Heyman suggested that ECW show become its own identify as soon as possible. Heyman also preached that ECW had enough star power that Edge and Cena’s services were both unneeded and unwanted. The plan was then changed to what happened Tuesday and now John Cena and Edge will battle for the WWE Championship at Vengeance.
The June 13 edition of ECW saw the debut of four new superstars. Stephanie Finochio debuted in the ECW ring as her long time alias Trinity. Trinity accompanied the Flood Blooded Italians to ringside. ECW also saw Vixen Barbara Blank debut under the name Kelly Kelly. Kelly Kelly is playing an exhibitionist gimmick. Mike Hettinga also made an appearance on the show, covering up Kelly Kelly before she could remove her bra. The ring name of Mike Hettinga is unknown as of now and his role with Kelly Kelly is also unknown. Lastly, Mike Awesome returned to the WWE last night on ECW. Mike Awesome was a surprising return as he had a falling out with the company last year. It is not know if Mike Awesome has signed a contract or if his appearance last night was a one night only. His appearance could even be a try out match of sorts, we will just have to wait and see.
The Full Blooded Italians, Kurt Angle and Big Show all turned heel last night. The ECW was overwhelmed with babyfaces and heels needed to be formed. Expect more heels to be popping up within the next few weeks.
In an interesting note, the Kurt Angle heel turn can actually reflect upon his current lockeroom status. Although he is a well respected athlete, Kurt has been rubbing people the wrong way. He feels he is too big for ECW and he should be the main focus of the show. On the other hand, Big Show is much respected in the lockeroom and highly popular amongst the roster.
WWE officials are interested in bringing in Yoshihiro Tajiri and Masato Tanaka; however, they have complicated Japanese bookings as of now. It is not a farfetched theory to expect them to be making a return to ECW in the near future though.
Big Guido is not expected to last long. With Trinity being the personal escort of the FBI, Big Guido finds himself running solo. Big Guido does not have a lot of ring talent to fall back upon, he struggles to connect with the crowd and management is not a huge fan of him in any way, shape or form. You can expect Big Guido to be released within the following weeks.
---------
Not too familiar with Roadkill or Danny Doring to be honest, glad FBI got the win here
Danny Doring & Roadkill were the last two men in ECW to hold the Tag Team Championship.

June 20, 2006 Extreme Retaliation The ECW on Sci-Fi introduction video plays which is proceeded by a small arrangement of pyrotechnics. We than quickly cut to Joey Styles and Tazz, who are our broadcast team for the night, as they welcome us to the ECW on the Sci-Fi Network. Joey Styles and Tazz quickly hype tonight’s show which is mainly surrounding Rob Van Dam with a brief mention of Tommy Dreamer.
Paul Heyman’s music then hits over the PA system. Paul Heyman makes his way to the ring as only Paul Heyman can. Paul jumps into the ring and is handed a microphone. He starts off by saying Terry Funk, who was going to be in attendance tonight, will not be appearing. Paul says that Terry was assaulted backstage just a few minutes ago and the attacker is unknown, but claims he will solve the mystery. He then continues with his business by saying that last week he gave Big Show the opportunity of a life time by letting him compete in the battle royal that claims him as number one contender for the ECW Heavyweight Championship. Paul than says that the actions following the match were uncalled for. He says Big Show pressed his luck when he put his hands on him and tonight he will pay. He books Big Show to take on Sabu in the main event of the evening!
<<<<<Commercial>>>>>
Opening Contest: Tommy Dreamer versus Little Guido w/ Tony Mamaluke & Trinity Extreme Rules
Dreamer is extremely hot with the crowd as he gets an upperhand quickly in the match. Dreamer beats down Guido for awhile until going to the outside to get some toys. He reaches under the ring and pulls out a trashcan full of weapons. The weapons soon come into play. Dreamer smashes a trashcan lid over Guido’s head and follows up with stiff shots from a hockey stick. Guido is being dominated and Tommy goes for the Death Valley Driver. Guido slips out of it and nails a low blow. Guido grabs the trashcan and nails Tommy hard. Guido than unleashes a load of punches on Tommy as Tony Mamaluke slides in with two chairs. He erects a chair and Dreamer finds himself landing face first into it. AS he gets up Guido whacks him hard with the second one. Guido than nails his signature Fisherman Buster and gets the three.
Winner: Little Guido w/ Tony Mamaluke & Trinity
After the match, the Full Blooded Italians continue to assault Tommy Dreamer until suddenly, Sandman’s music hits. From the crowd Sandman quickly rushes down with a Singapore cane and chases off the FBI, just missing Tony Mamaluke with a cane shot. Sandman checks on Dreamer as we fade to the back.
Rob Van Dam is shown stretching for his match.
<<<<<Commercial>>>>>
Kelly Kelly is once again on stage for another attempt at her Kelly's Extreme Expose. Once again a mysterious bearded man comes out and throws a towel on her, receiving heat from the crowd. This week, however, Kelly Kelly defends herself and slaps the bearded man in the face. Kelly than attempts to continue her ‘Kelly’s Extreme Expose’ until Jazz comes out and attacks her, nailing her with a spinebuster and locking in the STF. Security rushes out as Jazz and the bearded man leave together.
In the back, The Big Show is interviewed. He talks about his attack on Rob Van Dam last week and says that he has no idea what is in store for him. He then continues by saying he will defeat Sabu tonight as a message for Rob Van Dam. He concludes by saying he will be ECW Heavyweight Champion.
Match Two: Kurt Angle versus Justin Credible
The fans are behind the ECW original, but he stands no chance. Kurt Angle quickly gets the advantage and puts Justin away after an Angle Slam and Ankle Lock.
Winner: Kurt Angle
After the match Kurt Angle grabs a microphone and announces he assaulted Terry Funk before the start of the program and he enjoyed watching him bleed. He then says there will be many more casualties on his way to the ECW Heavyweight Championship.
A video quickly airs and reads This is a Test
<<<<<Commercial>>>>>
Match Three: Rob Van Dam versus Mike Awesome
The match proves to be a delight for the fans. Awesome uses his size to his advantage, easily getting an upperhand on Rob Van Dam. Mike goes for The Awesome Bomb early in the match, but Van Dam slips out of it. Rob Van Dam begins to get the upperhand and nails some beautiful heel kicks. Rob Van Dam than goes to the top rope and is looking for the Five-Star Frog Splash, but Mike gets up and tosses him from the top rope. Mike is looking to inflect more damage on Rob until suddenly Balls Mahoney hits the ring and whacks Mike Awesome with a stiff steel chair shot. Winner: Mike Awesome via disqualification.
Mike Awesome and Balls Mahoney begin to brawl and suddenly, The Big Show comes out. Show begins to attack Rob Van Dam and suddenly the lights dim. When they flash back on Sabu is in the ring and the referee rings the bell.
Main Event: Sabu versus Big Show
The crowd seems happy with the impromptu start of the main event. The match is actually quite back and forth for awhile. Big Show obviously gets an advantage due to his tremendous size, but this does not stop the maniac that is Sabu. Sabu uses his years of experience to hit some innovative maneuvers, including his signature moves that include the ring ropes. Sabu is able to chop the giant down and he hits a double jump moonsault. He goes for the victory, but Show kicks out. Big Show and Sabu continue back and forth again and Show once again regains his advantage. Big Show hits a huge chokeslam and Sabu seems out for the count. Suddenly, Rob Van Dam slides into the ring and hits the Vandaminator. The referee lets the interference slide as Sabu hits The Arabian Facebuster for the victory.
Winner: Sabu
After the match Rob Van Dam and Sabu are celebrating; however, Big Show continues his assault. He nails both men with the steel chair, which levels both men. He then tosses Rob Van Dam to the outside and chokeslams him through the announcers table! Big Show once again grabs the ECW Heavyweight Championship and holds his high as the show ends.

Wonder who attacked Funk. Wow, really really surprised Guido won there, but I like the upset. Jazz & Mike Knox sounds like a weird pairing; wonder how Kelly will realistically seek revenge. Angle over Credible is logical, although I prefer not to see Credible as a jobber. Angle assaulting Funk could lead to good things. DQ finish was fine, Awesome/RVD is main event worthy though in my opinion. Sabu winning is fine, and glad Show got the upper hand at the end. Good show Matt, certainly a step up from the last one.

ECW News and Notes: June 21, 2006 ECW drew a surprising 2.4 rating with the final quarter drawing the highest rating. Although the rating is down, the numbers are still considered high for the third brand. The brand received no hype on Raw Monday, so Vince is pleased to see enough people were interested in tuning in a second week and he hopes this trend will continue.
Test is joining the active roster and will be a top heel.
Terry Funk was scheduled to appear last night on ECW in the corner of Tommy Dreamer; obviously that idea was nicked. The angle was than created for Kurt Angle to assault Terry Funk before the show and this will lead to a match down the road. Paul Heyman considers Terry Funk a draw and feels a match between Kurt Angle and him could generate money.
Speaking of Tommy Dreamer, it seems Dreamer and Sandman will be working as a tag team. Do not be surprised to see them feud with the Flood Blooded Italians. The FBI are going to be pushed as major stars and Tommy Dreamer and Sandman are good stepping stones.
Any Danny Doring and Roadkill fans noticed they did not appear last night. You have not seen the last of the duo, they will merely selling injuries.
Speaking of selling injuries, C.W Anderson was also selling his injuries this well. Anderson is liked and many feel he could be a major player on ECW, expect a decent push for him in the future. In a similar note, Justin Credible is expected to sell his injuries from Kurt Angle’s assault similar to how C.W Anderson did.
It seems Mike Awesome has signed a contract with ECW and it appears he will be feuding with Balls Mahoney.
Speaking of feuds, Kelly Kelly will be finding a male partner to feud with Jazz and Mike Hettinga (Ring name unknown). Big Show and Rob Van Dam will be feuding for quite some time, linking together a minor feud between Sabu and Kurt Angle.
As reported last week, it seems Big Guido will be gone sooner than later. There is a slight possibility he could be repackaged, but he does not have much ring ability.
Lastly, anyone who missed Raw and is interested in what happened with the WWE Championship would most likely be disappointed. John Cena was named WWE Champion by Vince McMahon and Edge challenged him for a match at the next Pay Pay View.
