Kurt Angle vs Terry Funk sounds surprisngly awesome something that would of been great to see around the second ECW One Night Stand. Big Show vs Rob Van Dam is solid but I'd like to see Rob Van Dam keep the title till dropping it to Test. Hehe. Looking forward to the show as the previous two matches have been well written.

June 27, 2006 Extreme Momentum
The ECW on Sci-Fi introduction video plays which is proceeded by a small arrangement of pyrotechnics. We than quickly cut to Joey Styles and Tazz, who are our broadcast team for the night, as they welcome us to the ECW on the Sci-Fi Network. Joey Styles and Tazz quickly hype tonight’s show which will feature a confrontation between The Big Show and Rob Van Dam. Also, tonight will see a match sanctioned in Extreme Rules.
Opening Contest: Al Snow versus Super Crazy
Both men are making their return to ECW on Sci-Fi since the battle royal on the debut episode. Crazy is pretty over with the crowd, but Al Snow does have his own little cheering section. Both men get a decent amount of offense in, but Super Crazy seems to have the edge. Crazy hits some of his signature moves and goes for the triple moonsaults. Crazy connects with all three and gets the victory.
Winner: Super Crazy
After the match, Kurt Angle’s music hits. Super Crazy fleas the ring, leaving Kurt Angle a beaten Al Snow as his victim. Kurt picks Snow up and nails him with a vicious Angle Slam. He locks in the Ankle Lock and Snow taps continuously. Suddenly, C.W Anderson comes running from the back with a steel chair. Anderson chases Angle out of the ring as medics come to check up on Al Snow.

A video quickly airs and reads This is a Test
In the back, Rob Van Dam and Sabu are shown together. Rob thanks Sabu for his support last week, but asks that Sabu does not interfere with his confrontation tonight with The Big Show. Paul Heyman than appears and says to make sure Sabu does not interfere tonight, he will be participating in the Extreme Rules match of the evening, against Mike Awesome!
A video package then airs showing never before seen images of the brutal beat down of Terry Funk. It goes on to show a video of Terry Funk receiving 15 stitches in his head. As Terry Funk is getting the stitches he insures the audience that he will be seeking his revenge sooner than later.
Match Two: Sandman w/ Tommy Dreamer versus Tony Mamaluke w/ Little Guido & Trinity
Sandman is very over with the fans and Tony Mamaluke receives some pretty good heel heat. Obviously, Tony Mamaluke has an advantage with both Little Guido and Trinity in his corner. Sandman tries to throw some vicious punches, but Mamaluke uses his speed to out-wrestle Sandman. Mamaluke wears down Sandman for awhile and finally goes for The Sicilian Stretch. Sandman is able to weasel his way out of the hold and nails a DDT. Sandman shocks the crowd with a Heinekenrana and goes for The White Russian Legsweep. As Sandman goes for the pin, Trinity jumps on the apron and distracts the referee. Guido rolls into the ring and nails Sandman with a chair. Suddenly, Dreamer hits the ring with Sandman’s Singapore Cane and starts swinging. Trinity hits the ring and gives Dreamer a low blow! The low blow caused the referee to call for the match to end in a no-contest!
Winner: No contest
After the match, Little Guido and Tony Mamaluke give Sandman and Tommy Dreamer quite the beat down using a steel chair and Singapore Cane as weapons. Suddenly, Danny Doring and Roadkill are running down the entrance and they hit the ring. Doring and Roadkill and the Full Blooded Italians exchange shots. Dreamer and Sandman are able to get back to their feet and they join the fight as well. The three teams brawl as security runs out to break the mayhem up!

A video hyping Sabu, Mike Awesome and their match tonight airs.
We get a glance of The Big Show and Kurt Angle, but can not hear what they are saying.
Jazz and the mysterious bearded man are now on screen. The bearded man is introduces himself as Mike Knox. Mike Knox explains he is the boyfriend of Kelly Kelly and does not approve of her actions as an exhibitionist. He says he found Jazz to teach her a lesson and says the team will not stop until Kelly’s days as an exhibitionist are over. He finishes by saying she is not here tonight, but next week she will prove to the world that she has learned the lesson.
Main Event: Sabu versus Mike Awesome Extreme Rules
The match is quick to spill to the outside. Sabu is tossed around like a ragdoll as he is thrown into almost everything at ringside. Awesome has a chair and goes to swing, but Sabu dropkicks it into his face. Sabu mounts his offense using the chair to beat down Awesome. The two end up back in the ring with two chairs. Sabu plants Awesome with a stiff chair shot and places the chair under his head. Sabu climbs to the top rope and nails The Super Arabian Facebuster off the top rope. Sabu goes for the win, but Awesome kicks out. Mike regains offense and the two spill back to the outside. Mike clears off the announcers table and sets Sabu into position. The two are mounted on the guardrail and Awesome picks up Sabu and starts running, hitting The Awesome Bomb through the announcers table. Mike hooks the leg and but is nailed from behind with a chair. Balls Mahoney is now at ringside and he is unleashing hell upon Mike Awesome. Balls hits the Nutcracker Suite which allows Sabu to crawl over and get the win.
Winner: Sabu
<<<<<Commercial>>>>>
Rob Van Dam comes out to a huge ovation. Rob grabs a microphone and says that he feels he has disappointed the ECW fans. He says he wears the ECW Heavyweight Championship with pride and recaps how for the last two weeks The Big Show has left him on his back. He says that this can not continue. He says he is Mr. Pay Per View and a five star athlete. He says sooner or later Big Show and him will square off and Rob Van Dam will walk out on top.
This leads to The Big Show coming out. Show enters the ring and matches up with Rob Van Dam. Show rips the microphone out of his hand and begins to speak with anger. He says Rob Van Dam is all talk and no show. He says last week Rob screwed him out of a victory, but he will screw Rob out of his title. Show says he is the largest athlete in the world and he will crush Rob Van Dam. He finished by saying the match will be when he wants it and Rob Van Dam will certainly be the first to know.
Paul Heyman’s music then hits and he makes his way to the ring. Paul says this week on ECW Rob Van Dam will not finish the show on his back. Paul announces next week will be featured by a huge main event. Rob Van Dam and The Big Show will each find an opponent and battle it out in tag team action. The crowd seems pleased by the announcement, but The Big Show is obviously unhappy as ECW on Sci-Fi ends.

Another surprising opening contest with Super Crazy winning. Like Angle just tearing everyone up, although not sure about someone low like CW Anderson chasing him off. Like how you're doing one Extreme Rules match per show. Fine no contest there, gets rivalries going. Like where the Knox/Jazz/Kelly stuff is going. Sabu/Awesome seemed like a solid main event. Fine ending to the show, although I still think that maybe Sabu/Awesome should have actually ended the show.

ECW News and Notes:June 28, 2006 ECW on Sci-Fi drew an outstanding 2.6 rating this week. This is up from last week and it keeps Vince McMahon high on the company. Inside reports claim that Vince McMahon is giving Paul Heyman a lot of freedom with the brand, but everything must be passed through Vince McMahon. However, Paul Heyman does seem to have the ability to get Vince McMahon to change his opinions on storylines. For example, Vince McMahon is not high of Terry Funk and does not want to give him precious air time, yet Terry Funk is pending a major storyline.
WWE.com reported this afternoon that Theodore Long has released Jamie Noble and Kid Kash from their Smackdown contracts. Quickly after, Paul Heyman announced that Jamie Noble and Kid Kash have been signed to ECW contracts. The two men are expected to come in as a tag team.
Speaking of tag teams, Paul Heyman has been paying close attention to the tag team division. He sees the lack of tag team wrestling on Smackdown and Raw and wants to utilize that factor to his benefactor. Paul Heyman is pushing for Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch to be brought into ECW when they get called up from development. He is also asking for Aaron Stevens and K.C. James to be called up to ECW.
At this time, we can confirm that WWE is sending out feelers to three major talents. Firstly, Shannon Spruill, known better as Daffney, has been sent a blueprint contract. Brian Harris, known better as Chainz, has been sent a letter to see if he has interest in returning to the company. Brian Harris is best friends with The Undertaker, so expect Undertaker to try and convince her friend to return to the company. Lastly, Nick Cvjetkovich, known better as Sinn, has also been contacted. All three athletes have been contacted because of Paul Heyman. Heyman wants to utilize the three talents to form a new stable.
In related news, WWE is still trying to sign Yoshihiro Tajiri and Masato Tanaka to full time contracts.
Kevin Fertig, known as Seven, is expected to be called up to roster as soon as next week. Kevin will be playing a vampire gimmick if he gets called up. Expect him to get called up with Shelly Martinez if, or when, he gets promoted.
C.W Anderson is still expected to get a huge push and could even get a rub from Kurt Angle, who is said to be pleased with Anderson’s ability.
Big Guido and Francine’s future in the company is in doubt. They are viewed upon as a waste of capital.

July 4, 2006 Extreme Independence
The ECW on Sci-Fi introduction video plays which is proceeded by a small arrangement of pyrotechnics. We than quickly cut to Joey Styles and Tazz, who are our broadcast team for the night, as they welcome us to the ECW on the Sci-Fi Network. Joey Styles and Tazz quickly hype tonight’s show which will feature a huge tag team match involving The Big Show and Rob Van Dam. Also, Mike Knox and Kelly Kelly will go face to face. But up first is Steven Richards versus Super Crazy
Opening Match: Stevie Richards versus Super Crazy Extreme Rules
Super Crazy left Al Snow high and dry last week when Kurt Angle came out and started attack Al Snow. These actions have caused the fans to apparently turn on Super Crazy as he receives a lot of boos. Richards is making his first appearance since the debut episode of ECW. Richards has a strong showing as he dominated most of the match using every weapon he can find under the ring. Crazy gets a little offense in, which includes hitting a drop toe hold to Richards, causing him to split his head open on the edge of the steel steps. Crazy sends him in the ring and hits a brainbuster. He climbs to the top rope and goes for a moonsault, but Richards gets a boot up. Stevie regains his offense and nails The Stevie Kick for the win.
Winner: Stevie Richards
In the back we see Rob Van Dam talking to Sabu. Rob asks Sabu to be his tag team partner tonight and Sabu shakes his head yes.
<<<<<Commercial>>>>>
In the ring Mike Knox are standing. They run down the audience to earn heat and then demands Kelly Kelly come out to the ring. Kelly comes to the ring with a rather positive reaction from the crowd. Knox puts Kelly down with degrading terms. Knox then demands she apologizes for her wrong behavior, but Kelly refuses. Kelly fires back stating being an Exhibitionist is her life. Jazz then smacks her and Mike Knox gets in her face and becomes highly aggressive. Kelly is in serious trouble until suddenly two familiar faces show up. Kid Kash and Jamie Noble, as The Pitbulls, rush to the rescue of Kelly. They clear house of both Jazz and Mike Knox quickly. They stand tall with Kelly as the two retreat up the entrance ramp.
In the back Kurt Angle and The Big Show make an alliance and announce the two will be teaming together for the main event. Match Two: Mike Awesome versus Balls Mahoney
The match was a stiff match that would satisfy any brawlers taste. The two exchange hard punches until Mike Awesome is able to gain control. Awesome uses his powerhouse moves to really ware down Balls. Mike goes for The Awesome Bomb early, but Balls slips out of it. Balls hits The Balls Combo and the crowd begins to really get into him. Balls goes for The Nutcracker Suite, but Mike fights out of it, connects with a low blow and nails The Awesome Bomb for the win!
Winner: Mike Awesome

A video quickly airs and reads This is a Test.
In the back Paul Heyman and Kurt Angle run into each other. Paul says he is disappointed in Kurt Angle because when he drafted him to ECW, he thought he would be beneficial. Kurt Angle says he despises everything that is ECW and came here to prove why Kurt Angle is the dominate force in the wrestling world.
Match Three: Danny Doring w/ Roadkill & Tommy Dreamer w/ Sandman versus The Full Blooded Italians: Little Guido & Tony Mamaluke w/ Trinity
The odd team of Danny Doring and Tommy Dreamer prove to be an awkward pairing. The two just do not have chemistry as a team, but pull through as both men have harsh feelings towards Guido and Mamaluke. Guido proves to be a dominate force as he spends most of the match in the ring. Guido is able to out wrestle Dreamer and uses Mamaluke as an asset for extra beating. Dreamer regains some offense and is able to make a hot tag. Doring tags some control, but quickly loses it. Mamaluke and Guido use their tag team experience to really beat down Doring as well. The finish comes with Mamaluke locking Dreamer in a Sicilian Crab and Guido locking in Doring in a Sicilian Crab. Both men tap as they have no other alternative.
Winners: The Full Blooded Italians: Little Guido & Tony Mamaluke
Sandman and Roadkill charge the ring after the match. Roadkill squashed Mamaluke in the corner and Sandman gives Guido a good beating with his Singapore Cane. Trinity comes in and gives both men low blows. Dreamer and Doring are back up. Dreamer nails Trinity with a DDT and follows up with a Death Valley Driver on Mamaluke as Doring nails a Bareback. Dreamer, Sandman, Roadkill and Doring now all stand tall. Suddenly, Sandman whacks Roadkill in the head with a Singapore Cane and Dreamer and Doring start brawling until security rushes out to break it up!
<<<<<Commercial>>>>>
A video airs and recaps Big Show’s and Rob Van Dam’s feud and their main event match next!
Main Event: Big Show & Kurt Angle versus Rob Van Dam & Sabu
The match is rather short, but full of action. All four men have decent offense on both of their opponents. After awhile, all four men break loose. Angle and Sabu brawl to the outside where Angle gains a vicious upper hand. Sabu finds himself through a table after a nasty Angle Slam! In the ring, Rob Van Dam is falling short to Big Show’s dominance. Rob tries to utilize his kicks to chop down Show, but he attempts fail. Show tosses Rob to the out and the two brawl outside. Angle slides Sabu back into the ring and hits him with another Angle Slam and gets the win.
Winners: Kurt Angle & The Big Show
On the outside, Show and Rob Van Dam continue to brawl. On the inside Kurt Angle is celebrating his victory until suddenly; C.W Anderson appears and nails Angle hard with a chair shot! Outside Rob Van Dam and Big Show fight up the entrance ramp where Rob Van Dam attempts to nails him with a Vandaminator. He misses and Show connects with a chokeslam as ECW goes off the air. [/size]

Okay opening match, made it better that it was Extreme Rules. Not sure about Kash/Noble being with Kelly. Both, especially Kash, seem like heels to me. Good win for Awesome since he hasn't really been winning lately. FBI winning was a good call. Nice main event there, good stuff going on. But I still don't get the usage of CW Anderson in a feud with Angle; Angle seems way above him. But besides that, nice show.

-Very nice opener, liked that it was Extreme Rules -RVD & Sabu together should be great -Bringing the Pitbulls to ECW is a fantastic idea -Awesome winning was well...awesome -Love Angle's attitude towards ECW -FBI winning makes sense because they're an actual team -Good main event, loved CW Anderson getting involved
Good stuff, I really like this so far

ECW News and Notes: July 5, 2006
ECW on Sci-Fi drew a solid 2.0 rating last night. The rating is the lowest the show has ever gotten, but it was being aired on a major United States Holiday (Independence Day). No one is worried about the show’s ratings, but if the ratings stay this low, something will have to change.
C.W Anderson is being pushed to the moon lately. Anderson is participating in a revenge feud with Kurt Angle and is defending ECW. The feud will eventually branch out and involve Al Snow, Justin Credible, Terry Funk and possibly Sabu. The feud is expected to last some time.
Although he has been booked as a dominate force, The Big Show is not expected to take the ECW Heavyweight Championship from Rob Van Dam. Whenever the two finally face off, expect Rob Van Dam to hold on to his title.
Jamie Noble and Kid Kash made their debut on ECW last week. The two were recently repackaged together as faces and debuted as The Pitbulls. The two were aligned with Kelly Kelly as officials feel she needs the rub from established stars. Paul Heyman is high on the two men and it will be interesting to see how the two develop on the program.
Kevin Fertig and Shelly Martinez were going to be debuting last night on ECW; however, officials did not want to debut four stars on one night. Also, they feel the two need to be debuted to a much larger audience, not an audience that was distracted by Independence Day.
There are talks of calling up C.P Punk to the ECW roster.
Also, The Basham Brothers may be brought in when the tag team division fully develops. Vince McMahon is also pushing for Matt Morgan to be brought to the brand, but Paul Heyman is against that idea.
WWE.com is reporting that Big Guido and Francine have been released from their contracts. We wish them luck in all their future endeavors.
At this time we can say that WWE is coming close to signing Shannon Spruill and Brian Harris. Nick Cvjetkovich is still be contacted, but negotiations are not going as smooth with him.

Show Preview
Independence Day is known for its fireworks and last week on ECW saw extreme fireworks fly. After the main event, featuring The Big Show & Kurt Angle taking on Rob Van Dam & Sabu, Rob Van Dam and The Big Show brawled up the entrance ramp which saw Big Show chokeslam Rob Van Dam on the cod hard concrete. These two have lit a personal fire that is ready to explode. What will happen this week when these two men fall into each other’s path?
Also, C.W Anderson made a statement last week with a vicious chair shot to the head of Kurt Angle. Kurt Angle was furious over the attack and this week the two men will face off in one on one action. Additionally, ECW fans are still awaiting the return of Terry Funk to seek his revenge on Kurt Angle. Will he show up this week?
Last week saw the debut of two new ECW Extremists: Jamie Noble and Kid Kash, The Pitbulls. These two men have joined with Kelly Kelly to form an unusual alliance that halts Mike Knox and Jazz in their path. Mike Knox and Jazz announced early today that they have found another monster that will join forces with them to destroy the new trio.
Also, Paul Heyman is expected to make a huge announcement!
Catch all of this and more tonight on ECW on Sci-Fi!

July 11, 2006 Heyman’s Poison
The ECW on Sci-Fi introduction video plays which is proceeded by a small arrangement of pyrotechnics. We than quickly cut to Joey Styles and Tazz, who are our broadcast team for the night, as they welcome us to the ECW on the Sci-Fi Network. Joey Styles and Tazz quickly hype tonight’s show which will feature Kurt Angle taking on C.W Anderson, a new alliance for Mike Knox and Jazz, and appearance from Rob Van Dam and The Big Show.
Paul Heyman’s music hit and he comes out to the ring to discuss a laundry list of matters. He first talks about Rob Van Dam and The Big Show and the havoc they have spilled all over ECW. He announces the two men will face off for the ECW Heavyweight Championship in three weeks, but first they must survive Paul Heyman’s Pick of Poison. This week Rob Van Dam will face off against a man of Paul’s choice and next week The Big Show will do the same. He then announces that The Big Show’s opponent will be making his ECW on Sci-Fi debut and he is an ECW Alumni. He concludes by announcing Rob’s match is next!
Opening Contest: Rob Van Dam versus C.M Punk
C.M Punk is making his ECW on Sci-Fi debut tonight. Punk got a rather surprising ovation; the fans surprising seemed to care about him. Punk got a shocking amount of offense, but Rob Van Dam definitely controlled the match. At one point it looked like Punk would pull a huge upset when he locked in The Anaconda Vice. Rob Van Dam was able to grab the rope and break the hold, before regaining control and putting Punk away with the Five Star Frog Splash!
Winner: Rob Van Dam
After the match, The Big Show walked out on the entrance ramp to give Rob Van Dam a round of applause.

Joey Styles announces that tonight Sabu will face Balls Mahoney in Extreme Rules! This leads to a video hyping Extreme Rule recapping Extreme Rules matches over the last month.
In the back Paul Heyman and The Big Show run into one another. Show is displeased with Heyman and demands to know who his opponent is for next week. Heyman just says he will be taken to the extreme.
The Pitbulls with Kelly Kelly come out for another edition of Kelly’s Extreme Expose. Noble and Kash play the roles of guards as Kelly strips to the enjoyment of the crowd. Suddenly, Mike Knox and Jazz come out. The two alliance stand face to face as Jazz attacks Kelly. The Pitbulls jump on Knox and begin to gain an upper hand. Suddenly, Test comes out and clears house of Kash and Noble with two Pump Handle Slams. Jazz lays out Kelly with a Jazz-Bomb and Mike Knox, Test and Jazz stand tall.
<<<<<Commercial>>>>>
Match Two: Sabu versus Balls Mahoney Extreme Rules
The match is rather lackluster. Balls gets some solid offense and the two men end up outside. Balls hits Sabu with a Sit-Down Powerbomb on a chair. Balls is able to bust Sabu open, but Sabu regains offense. He wails Balls with a chair shot and places him on the announcers table. He pulls a ladder from underneath the ring and sets it up. Sabu than grabs a chair and climbs the ladder: he is going for the Arabian Facebuster. He dives off the ladder, but Balls moves and Sabu crashes through the table. Balls quickly covers Sabu and gets the shocking win.
Winner: Balls Mahoney
After the match Mike Awesome comes through the crowd. He attacks Balls and finishes him off with The Awesome Bomb! A video plays and hypes the debut of Trevor Murdoch and Lance Cade: ECW on Sci-Fi’s newest hicks!
<<<<<Commercial>>>>>
Danny Doring and Roadkill come out. The two men are wearing the ECW Tag Team Championships around their waists. Doring reminds everyone that Roadkill and him are the last men to hold these titles. Doring asks if The Full Blooded Italians remember who they defeated to win the titles: it was The Full Blooded Italians. He continues by saying The FBI wants to play with the big boys. They want to be extreme and just get attention. He says Roadkill and him can destroy The FBI any day, any time. He then changes over to Sandman and Tommy Dreamer. He says the two of them need to stick out of their business before there is serious trouble. This brings out Dreamer and Sandman who come out through the crowd. They quickly begin to brawl with Roadkill and Doring as The Full Blooded Italians rush out. They have chairs and quickly clean house. Mamaluke and Guido pick up the ECW Tag Team Championships above their heads.
The Big Show is in the back and he says Rob Van Dam will lose his ECW Heavyweight Championship in three weeks.
<<<<<Commercial>>>>>
In the back, Shelly Martinez is dressed like some type of vampire. She is flipping tarot cards and says “Darkness is falling upon ECW!”
Main Event: C.W Anderson versus Kurt Angle
The crowd is really being Angle. It is obvious that Angle is over enough as a heel that the fans want to see anyone destroy him. Anderson gets some strong offense in, dominating the first few minutes of the match. Anderson goes for his Spinebuster, but Angle reverses the hold. Angle gets in his offense and nails his signature supplex maneuvers. Angle than goes for the Angle Slam, but Anderson counters and nails a huge spear. Both men are on the ground as Terry Funk, Al Snow and Justin Credible come out and surround the ring. Both men get up and Anderson is happy that his friends are surrounding him and Angle looks worried. Angle and Anderson exchange blows, but Angle regains control after a low blow. He nails the Angle Slam and locks in the Ankle Lock causing Anderson to tap.
Winner: Kurt Angle
Justin Credible and Al Snow hit the ring. Angle is able to control both men and nails both of them with Angle Slams! Anderson is back up and tries to fight off Angle again, but falls victim to another Angle Slam. Terry Funk is now in the ring and in his hand is a barbwire covered 2x4. Angle looks intimidated and grows more nervous when Funk lights the 2x4 on fire! Angle quickly fleas the ring as Funk stands tall, middle aged and crazy!

ECW was a solid show Matt, the opening match would be fantastic to see but I'm not sure on Punk taking the loss in his first match, at least he looked good though. Mahoney beating Sabu is surpring and I loved the Mike Awesome attack. Heres hoping he gets a push to the ECW World title sooner or later. Main event was solid, I'd like to see C.W. Anderson vs Kurt Angle. Right man went over. Angle being able to handle Snow and Credible makes sense. Terry Funk vs Kurt Angle will be fantastic when it happens but I think it has to be Extreme Rules when it does.

Like the idea of Punk working his way up the card. Nice surprise there, solid match. Wonder if Test & Knox will be with Jazz, or just Test & Jazz. I don't see this program going too far as Test/Knox are clearly a lot better than the Pitbulls. It's surprising, but can't say I liked Balls going over Sabu. That hurt Sabu a lot. Good idea to have tag titles. Thankfully Angle beat Anderson. Solid show, just not a huge fan of Balls beating Sabu.

ECW was good. Opening contest with Punk vs. RVD would be amazing in real life, still waiting to see if that will ever happen. Nice extreme rules match with Sabu and Balls, and interesting to see that Show will be back. Nice main event, glad Angle won, Loved the ending with Funk and Angle. Cant wait to read next week.

The only suggestion I have to make is that you should be careful what matches you're giving away for free. For example, CM Punk vs. Rob Van Dam is a pay-per-view caliber match, and to give it away on TV is a stupid decision in my books. But otherwise, I have no complaints. You're progressing well.

ECW News and Notes: July 12, 2006
ECW had a solid viewing of 2.8. The ratings are remaining steady and are pleasing officials. Everyone is optimistic that the ratings will go higher into the 3.0s.
Last night saw a surprising victory with Balls Mahoney going over Sabu. Sabu is rumored to have gained heat on him after rubbing The Undertaker the wrong way backstage last week. Paul Heyman does not want to see the demise of Sabu, but will do what he needs to do for the business.
C.M Punk and Shelly Martinez made their debuts last night. Shelly will be going under the persona Ariel and will be forming some type of stable in the weeks to come. C.M Punk was not expected to remain on the main roster, but after a strong showing and being able to garnish a crowd reaction, he is going to be a new addition to the roster.
Trevor Murdoch and Lance Cade will be joining ECW in the following weeks. Expect to see Doug and Danny Bashan to be popping up soon as well. The Terry Funk and Kurt Angle drama will continue for quite some time and will be conclude in one match.
There are talks of having a special two or three hour edition of ECW in a few months in replacement of trying to hold a Pay Per View.
Huge news at this hour, Daffney has signed with the company. Brian Lee is very close to signing and Nick Cvjetkovich is getting closer to a deal.

July 18, 2006 Show Stopper The ECW on Sci-Fi introduction video plays which is proceeded by a small arrangement of pyrotechnics. We than quickly cut to Joey Styles and Tazz, who are our broadcast team for the night, as they welcome us to the ECW on the Sci-Fi Network. Terry Funk and Kurt Angle will come face to face and Dreamer and Sandman will be in tag action! But tonight we open up with Extreme Rules!
Opening Contest: Mike Knox w/ Test & Jazz versus Jamie Noble w/ Kid Kash & Kelly Kelly Extreme Rules
Both men are over in their own respects. Noble opens up the match with fiery speed and is able to take control of Knox, for at least the moment.
