August 14th, 2002 The show kicks off with a video recapping last weeks show, most notably highlighting the Eddie Guerrero and Scott Steiner bout, which Eddie managed to scrap the victory. The usual opening video then plays, followed by a pyro display as Mick Foley and Mike Tenay welcome us to the show. They hype the tag team title tournament before informing us that Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat has requested some air-time to address a situation.
The camera cuts to the backstage area where we see Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat standing in his office. He thanks us for ordering the show, and then says he has a very special announcement to make just now. Just before Steamboat can make the announcement, the office door swings open and Scott Steiner and Rena Mero come barging in. Steiner immediantly demands a rematch with Eddie Guerrero, but Steamboat denies him the rematch for tonight. Steiner flips, and grabs Steamboat by the collar and pins him against the wall. Steamboat once again denies Steiner of the rematch he wants. Rena tells Steiner to leave him, and they both leave arm in arm as Steamboat looks furious.
1. NWA World Tag Team Championship Tournament: Brian Kendrick and Paul London def. Juventud Guerrera and Psicosis in 14:37: I was torn on which team I wanted to win here, so I was happy with either team picking the victory up. The match looked to be in Guerrera and Psicosis' favor towards the end, but Brian Kendrick was able to roll out of the way of Psicosis' Guillotine Leg Drop, and then quickly hit the Sliced Bread #2 onto him for the win.
Jeremy Borash was standing backstage with the NWA World Heavyweight Champion, Eddie Guerrero. Eddie talks about retaining his title belt last week, and how he saw what Steiner done to Ricky Steamboat, and that Steiner is psychotic.
2. Low-Ki def. The Amazing Red in 9:43: This was a solid X-Division contest, which really showcased both guys, but more so Ki than Red. Low-Ki proved why he is the number one contender to TAKA Michinoku’s X-Division Championship when he put Red away with the Ki Krusher. TAKA Michinoku hit the ring afterwards with his X-Division title, and he swung it at Low-Ki, but Ki ducked and dropped TAKA with a stiff kick to the temple. Ki then set TAKA up for the Ki Krusher, but TAKA escaped Ki’s grip and quickly clocked him with the title before fleeing to the back.
Rena Mero was shown backstage in a corridor with Scott Steiner. Rena tells Scott that she will get him his title match. She tells him to wait in the corridor before she enters Ricky Steamboat’s office. Rena begins to rub Steamboat’s chest, but he almost instantly tells her that Steiner isn’t getting a title shot. She tosses a few things off his desk before sitting on it and asking Ricky what it will take. Steamboat tells Rena that next week Steiner will team with Jeff Jarrett and take on Eddie Guerrero and Ken Shamrock. If Steiner’s team can win, then he gets his rematch with Eddie. But if Eddie’s team win, then Steiner doesn’t get a rematch. Rena agrees before telling Ricky that she better go get ready for her match.
3. NWA World Tag Team Championship Tournament: Chris Harris and James Storm def. Apollo and Sonny Siaki in 7:22: To be fair, this match was better than I expected. Apollo has improved a lot since I last seen him in action, and the team of Harris and Storm work so well together. Apollo was the muscle of his team, and Siaki let him do the work a lot of times and then tagged himself in and made the cover, but only got a 2 count each time. When Siaki tagged himself in at one point, Storm took out Apollo which allowed Harris to hit the Catatonic onto Siaki to advance.
The same James Mitchell promo that aired last week aired. I must admit that I’m excited in seeing who TNA have signed to appear in Mitchell’s stable.
4. Rena Mero [w/ Scott Steiner] def. La Felina in 4:04: I’m guessing that this match was so high up on the card because it continued the Steiner/Eddie feud. Felina is well known on the indy circuit as Gail Kim, and she can pull off some great moves. However, this match just had Rena tossing her around the ring, although there was times where Felina hit some wicked moves. When Felina ducked Rena’s clothesline, she went for a handspring but Steiner sweeped her hands away when she was in mid-handspring and she fell on her face. Rena picked her up by the mask and dropped her with the Rena Bomb. Afterwards, Rena punched, scratched and tried to remove Felina’s mask as Steiner reframed the referee from stopping anything. Eddie Guerrero came running to Felina’s aid as he begin to hit Steiner with lefts and rights. Rena then jumped onto Eddie’s back, but he flipped her over and off his back before sending Steiner out of the ring with a dropkick. Rena stopped Steiner from getting back into the ring afterwards.
Jeremy Borash interviewed Jeff Jarrett backstage ahead of his main event match against Ken Shamrock. Jarrett said he’s sick and tired of being left of the shows here in NWA:TNA as he is the biggest star here. Jarrett says that it’s about time management realized he is the future of this company, and he’s going to become NWA World Heavyweight Champion, and that Shamrock is the first man in his way on the road to becoming champion.
We then see AJ Styles backstage with Jerry Lynn. AJ tells Jerry that he is more annoyed than him about being paired with him in the tag title tournament. AJ tells Lynn that he should be going for the X-Division title, and not the tag titles. Lynn tells AJ that he should be thankful at the opportunity of even being put in the tag title tournament. AJ tells Lynn that he isn’t, and gets in Lynn’s face. Lynn tells AJ that he has a serious attitude problem, and it won’t get him anywhere in this business. AJ tells Lynn that it’s already got him here before walking off as Lynn shakes his head.
5. Jeff Jarrett def. Ken Shamrock in 16:14: There was no story behind this one, but it was a fantastic match. I’m surprised at the lack of Jarrett there’s been in NWA:TNA, I mean after all he is the founder of TNA. I guess he’s been doing more work behind the scenes. Although I’m assuming that Jarrett is now being built up as a challenger for the title. As if he isn’t already, eh? When Shamrock went for an Ankle Lock, Jarrett kicked him which sent Ken into the referee. Jarrett left the ring and got his trusty guitar before breaking it over the head of Shamrock and making the cover just as the referee recovered from the bump. Jarrett celebrated to close the show.

Interesting that Steamboat wouldn't budge at Steiner's demands. Good idea to use L & K as a team. Good win for Ki to build to Ki-Taka. Funny that Sable tried to sexually persuade Ricky. I wish Steiner was wrestling a one-on-one match so the fate would be fully in his hands. AMW winning made sense. Nice idea with the Sable match, and I can see Sable/Steiner vs. Gail/Eddie possibly a week before a potential Steiner/Eddie rematch. Great idea with Lynn trying to put up the thankful speech but Styles being greedy. Glad JJ won the match to close the show. Another great show, this is possibly my favorite diary on the board. Keep it up man.

- I find it pretty funny that we've got two former WWE tag teams going at it in the opener. London and Kendrick are easily one of my favorite tag teams ever, so I'm more than pleased that you chose them to go over. It'd be awesome if they wound up winning the entire NWA World Tag Team Championship tournament.
- Ki beating Red was a smart move. If you don't know of my obsession with Low-Ki, then you've been sitting in the gutter for far too long. A feud between Michinoku and Ki over the X-Division Championship would be amazing. To be honest with you, I don't care who goes over when they finally have a match. They're both such great athletes.
- I can't say that I've ever been a huge fan of AMW, but they were easily one of the best tag teams when Storm and Harris were in their prime. I've got a feeling that you'll be putting them over in this tournament a lot. To be honest, I think that they'll most likely even win the entire thing.
- Is it bad that I've never heard of Rena Mero or La Felina? I guess it's cool that they're hanging out with Steiner and Guerrero. A feud between Eddie and Scott would be pretty unique and I'd love to see it happen.
- Ken Shamrock has never been one of my favorites, but I know that you're a big fan of him. I also know that he was pushed pretty high during TNA's run in 2002. Jarrett will always be TNA's main guy, so I completely understand why you put him over.
I found this show to be very entertaining, Jordan. I didn't even watch TNA in 2002, but I was pretty familiar with everything going on. Kudos to you for doing a good job on that part. If you can stick with this diary, then I can see you going pretty far with it. I appreciate the reply to my Kawal diary. Maybe we can exchange feedback regularly. That'd be nice.

Hey Jord,
I'm really liking the whole Eddie Guerrero being with the TNA, and becoming the NWA Champ, I wouldn't even thought of it, and it makes perfect sense for Guerrero to be with TNA, as that would be very possible. But I'm liking the whole Steiner/Guerrero fued, and loved how Eddie beat him though. As well, Steiner being paired with Mero is an interesting duo.
- However, this is being real realistic, although I'm not even a fan of TNA or anything related to TNA, of course.
So I wouldn't know much information about TNA.
But I'll check on this to see how you're developing the Steiner/Guerrero fued though.

August 21st, 2002 The normal NWA:TNA opening video begins to play, before Mick Foley and Mike Tenay welcome us to NWA:TNA's eleventh pay-per-view! They hype tonights tag team main event between Scott Steiner and Jeff Jarrett against Ken Shamrock and the NWA World Heavyweight Champion Eddie Guerrero. They also put over the two final first round matches to crown the new NWA World Tag Team Champions.
1. Low-Ki def. Michael Shane in 7:40: The X-Division continues to kick off NWA:TNA in spectacular fashion, and this match was no different. Ki and Shane both delivered a solid back and forth contest, but Ki was able to move out of the way of Shane's big Superkick and quickly drop Shane with a wicked kick to his temple. The X-Division Champion, TAKA Michinoku is shown watching Low-Ki celebrate backstage. Michael Shane looks frustrated afterwards, and begins to kick and punch the ropes and turnbuckles.
AJ Styles was shown adjusting his elbow and knee pads before Jerry Lynn approaches him. AJ asks Lynn what the hell he wants and Lynn tells him that he's just asking him that he would like to co-operate with him out there, and they could go on to win the tag titles. AJ eventually tells Lynn that he'll do his best to co-operate, but he's not promising anything.
2. NWA World Tag Team Championship Tournament: Elix Skipper and Kid Romeo def. Jerry Lynn and AJ Styles in 9:37: Lynn and Styles seemed to be co-operating really well in the opening minutes of the match, as they just tossed around Skipper and Romeo. Kid and Skipper tossed Lynn off the ropes, and Lynn knocked AJ off the apron. Kid Romeo and Skipper began to stomp away at Lynn as AJ quickly got into the ring and pushed Skipper and Romeo aside before pulling Lynn to his feet. He slapped Lynn and this set Lynn off who hit AJ with the Cradle Piledriver to the crowds delight. Out of nowhere, Romeo rolled Lynn up and got the upset victory. Elix and Romeo celebrated like they had just won the tag titles as Lynn looked pissed at AJ, who was lying on the floor outside.
We then see Jeff Jarrett backstage, and he enters Scott Steiner's locker room. The camera follows Jarrett in, and he talks to Scott about their WCW days when they done what they wanted, when they wanted. Jarrett tells Scott that he has a plan for Steiner. At that moment, Rena Mero ushers the cameraman out of the room before closing the door behind him.
3. Shane Douglas def. Ron Killings in 11:14: This was just a filler match really, but it was damn interesting. I'm a big fan of The Franchise as I think he's a solid wrestler, and has good mic skills to back him up. Killings is way over with the fans, and they where behind him from the beginning. Douglas used his heel antics to get the better of Killings before finishing him off with the Pittsburgh Plunge, which Killings sold to perfection.
The camera cut to the locker room area where the door swings open and AJ Styles barges in, holding his neck. Styles begins stuffing clothes into his bag, before attemping to leave the room, but Ricky Steamboat enters and tells Styles to hold up. Steamboat tells Styles that he has booked him vs. Jerry Lynn for pay-per-view thirteen. Steamboat tells AJ, "unlucky for some" before leaving.
4. NWA World Tag Team Championship Tournament: Animal and Hawk def. Alex Wright and Disco Inferno in 8:52: Two former WCW tag teams took to the ring tonight, for a somewhat decent match. The Road Warriors made their NWA:TNA debuts here tonight, and they got easily the biggest pop of the night from the crowd. Animal pinned Wright after the Doomsday Device to advance.
Jeremy Borash interviewed Eddie Guerrero and Ken Shamrock backstage. They both hyped their main event match against Scott Steiner and Jeff Jarrett.
A video plays hyping James Mitchell's new stable, The New Church.
5. Scott Steiner and Jeff Jarrett [w/ Rena Mero] def. NWA World Heavyweight Champion, Eddie Guerrero and Ken Shamrock in 16:37: Now this was a fantastic main event. The crowd loved it, and the match quality was superb. The stipulation was that if Steiner and Jarrett won, then Steiner got a title shot against Eddie at pay-per-view thirteen. Steiner and Jarrett prevailed victorious after Steiner hit Shamrock with a Fallaway Slam from the top rope while Jarrett stopped Eddie from getting in the ring. Afterwards, Rena passed Jarrett's guitar to Steiner who broke it over the head of Eddie before raising the NWA World Heavyweight title up as Jarrett and Rena stood at his either side. Steiner then dropped the title on Eddie's body before heading up the ramp.

Nice to see you getting a TV deal. I personally love Steiner's pursuit of the title, and want him to get it, but not for a while. It's conflicting because I like Eddie's long run with the title, but want Steiner to get it. As for the tag titles, I'm pulling for Mysterio/Konnan, I think they'll do good. Drop a line to my WWF 96?

- KI/Taka should be really good. Those styles just mesh well I would think. Turning Shane into Christian circa 2001-2002 when he would flip out after a losing? That could be entertaining. - I liked Romeo/Skipper going over as they benefited from beating guys like Styles and Lynn. A Styles/Lynn feud should be great, just like it was back in 2002 real time. - Shane Douglas push? That would be great. - Road Warriors going over is alright. I’ve always thought Inferno/Wright were a good tag team. Hopefully the Warriors do not win the tournament. - PPV #13 is shaping up to be a blockbuster show. I’m expecting Steiner to win the strap, finally. - Overall, good hype up show for PPV #13. I like that its not the next PPV, but the one after next, shows your not rushing. Good stuff, as usual.

Main event sounds pretty stacked. Really liking the build to Taka/Ki, it should be a great match. Like the fact that AJ & Lynn couldn't really co-exist. Douglas over Killings is fine, although I hope Killings does something at some point. Road Warriors vs. Disco/Wright is just flat out awesome on so many levels. Especially the team of Disco/Wright. Glad Steiner pinned SHamrock, because him pinning Eddie would mean no title change. Another great show.

August 28th, 2002 The normal NWA:TNA opening video rolls, and then a pyrotechnic display goes off at the top of the stage. Mick Foley and Mike Tenay welcome us to the show, as the camera scans the arena.
Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat's music plays as he comes from the back, with a big smile on his face. Steamboat doesn't go down to the ring, but instead stays at the top of the ramp. He announces that he has just booked a big tag team match for later on tonight putting TAKA Michinoku and Low-Ki against AJ Styles and Jerry Lynn.
1. NWA World Tag Team Championship Tournament: Konnan and Rey Misterio, Jr. def. Yang and Kaz Hayashi in 12:09: We kicked off the show, wrestling wise, with some pretty awesome in-ring action. Konnan and Rey are a great team, as are Yang and Hayashi. But Misterio caught Hayashi off-guard with a wicked Springboard Hurricanrana and it was enough for him and Konnan to advance.
The camera is sent to the backstage area where we see TAKA Michinoku, AJ Styles, Jerry Lynn and Low-Ki all complaining to Ricky Steamboat that it's unfair they have to team with their enemies tonight. Ricky tells them all to keep quiet, and they all do eventually. He tells them that he wants to see if they can co-operate as a team, and it will be a damn interesting match. They all storm out of the room, enraged.
2. Shane Douglas def. Michael Shane in 7:44: This was a pretty solid match, and went for a fair amount of time. Shane looked determined to get the win, but Douglas was able to keep kicking out of Shane's attempts at getting the victory. Douglas put Shane away with the Franchiser. Afterwards, Shane had a tantrum, similar to last week.
We then see Johnny Swinger and Simon Diamond warming up backstage. Their valet Dawn Marie appears and asks them if their ready. They both tell her yes, and then Marie tells them that if Alexis Laree tries anything out there, then she will take care of her.
3. NWA World Tag Team Championship Tournament: Christian York and Joey Matthews [w/ Alexis Laree] def. Johnny Swinger and Simon Diamond [w/ Dawn Marie] in 14:41: This was definately one of the best tag team matches I have seen in quite some time. Johnny Swinger went up top for a high risk move, but Laree shook the ropes, which knocked Swinger down, and hurting his balls in the process. Matthews climbed to the top and hit the Frankensteiner for the win for his team.
Jeremy Borash interviewed Scott Steiner backstage. Steiner revealed that him and Eddie Guerrero will sign a contract to seal the deal for their NWA World Heavyweight title match for next week.
4. AJ Styles and Jerry Lynn vs. NWA:TNA X-Division Champion, TAKA Michinoku and Low-Ki went to a No Contest in 16:39: A nice tag team match, and all four guys done a good job at looking pissed off about teaming with their enemies, and obviously they done a good job at the wrestling. TAKA and AJ where the legal men, and they took the fight to the outside, where they brawled until the ten count, thus making the match a No Contest due to a count out. Jerry then blindsided AJ, and Ki attacked TAKA. All four men brawled through the crowd before disappearing through some doors.
We then cut to a hype video that shows us James Mitchell in an eery location. Fog is filled behind him, and he begins to say that he will be revealing his first of three creatures. Mitchell moves towards the camera and begins to adjust it, obviously so that we get the idea he is recording the video himself. When he takes a few steps back, the camera has been moved back. We then see a man standing with his back to the camera. He then turns around, and he has a black eyes, and tattoos all over his arms. Mitchell introduces us to CM Punk!
Ricky "The Dragon" Steamboat makes his way down to the ring, which was set up with a table and two chairs during the video for James Mitchell's stable. Scott Steiner enters with Rena Mero to some fantastic heat, followed by the current reigning NWA World Heavyweight Champion, Eddie Guerrero. They sign the contract that will make their title match next week official before both locking eyes. Steiner got out of his chair and began to flex his muscles as Rena applauded him. Eddie got up and immitated Steiner, which got a good ovation for the crowd. He then raised the NWA World Heavyweight title before leaving the ring and heading up the back, still raising the title as Steiner stood on the top rope, motioning to Eddie that he is coming for his title.

The World tag team titles tournament is looking really good Jord. Konnan & Rey make an interesting team. I can see them going far but losing in the end. Meh at SHane over Shane...lol. I can't stand Douglas though. I don't like the tantrum things with Shane, hopefully he gets a nice push in the future. Main Event looked really fun. Nice to see CM Punk in TNA. Ending was really good and I am enjoying this Steiner/Guerrero feud alot.

I'd be intrigued if you went with Konnan/Rey-Road Warriors. Good idea for the x division tag. Interesting to have Douglas-Shane since that rivalry went on in real life. I actually had a tantrum idea in mind for my diary at some point, it's always fun to see. Surprised Swinger/Diamond lost since they had a backstage segment. Fun stuff there with the x guys, and Punk coming in sounds good. Really cannot wait for Steiner-Eddie. Hopefully Steiner wins the title this time. Good show, although it seemed more like a transitional show. But still an awesome roster/diary.

- I could see the opening match being a fast paced match. Rey/Konnan winning works. Like I said though, I hope they don’t win the whole thing. - Douglas/Shane was alright. I like the Douglas push the new crybaby gimmick for Michael Shane. Good stuff their. - Damn. I’m a fan of York/Matthews and Diamond/Swinger but I think I like Diamond more. Nonetheless I can’t complain as one of the teams advanced. Here’s hoping Matthews and York win the whole tournament. - Very good main event. Didn’t end clean but it makes both of their matches in the future even better. I really think Styles/Lynn is a great matchup as is KI/Taka - CM Punk with Mitchell is something I’m not sure about. I see managers for someone who can’t cut a good promo. But, Punk cuts a good promo so I think that’s a wasted spot. I was hoping Punk would be the Straight Edge version. Well, glad to see he is in TNA however. - Steiner has to win the title at TNA 13. He really has too. If he doesn’t then he can’t get a title shot for a long time. I’m really looking forward to the next show. Good stuff as usual. This TNA 2002 is some great stuff, glad to see you brought it back. Hopefully you stay with it for the long haul.

Good way to open up NWA:TNA Pay-Per-View #012. I like the sound of Low-Ki and TAKA Michinoku vs AJ Styles and Jerry Lynn. Solid opening tag team bout, Konnan and Rey Misterio Jr beating Yang and Kaz Hayashi is predictable, unfortunately as Yang and Kaz were greatness. Shane Douglas beating Michael Shane was equally predictable but good. Christian York and Joey Matthews are my favourites to win the NWA World Tag Team Championships, beating Simon Diamond and Johnny Swinger and whatnot. Shame Misterio and Konnan will walk all over them. Fantastic tag team match, it going to a draw is fine. Nice end segment, wow, CM Punk in TNA is great.

Good show, I love Konnan/Mysterio advancing, that should be a great match against York and Matthews, the X-Division scene is also really well, there's a lot of talent and it's hard to use it right but it's good that your managing. CM Punk with Mitchell is also fantastic and I'm really looking forward to Steiner/Guerrero, don't have a clue who'll win that one.

CM PUNK! wow, this is really interesting stuff. can't wait for the other two to be revealed, hopefully they dominate TNA. the Eddie and Steiner segment was well done, can't wait for their match next week, hoping Eddie retains really. although Steiner could be a bad ass champ. not too fussed then lol. keep it up jord!

JERRY JARRETT TO MAKE MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT; MORE RELEASES; & MORE! (www.pwinsider.com)
- Jerry Jarrett announced in an interview with Dave Meltzer that he will be making a major announcement regarding NWA:TNA in the coming weeks. Jerry said that the announcement is sure to shake the foundations of NWA:TNA, and will shock the entire wrestling world. NWA:TNA management have been keeping the announcement under wraps.
- The Sandman, Sabu, Apollo, Lex Luger and Miss Elizabeth's deals with NWA:TNA have been terminated. The Sandman and Sabu appeared in the NWA World Tag Team Championship tournament and where defeated. Luger and Elizabeth never made a single appearance in the company. Apollo also competed in the tag title tournament, teaming with Sonny Siaki.
- In some bad news, Michael Shane has torn his tricep, and it's unknown how long he will be out of action for, and if he will require surgery. This comes as bad timing as Shane was just starting a storyline that involved him having a tantrum after losing. It was believed that this was to go far, but obviously things will be put on hold for the time being.

September 4th, 2002 The usual NWA:TNA opening video plays, followed by Mick Foley and Mike Tenay welcoming us to the broadcast. They heavily hype Scott Steiner vs. Eddie Guerrero II.
1. NWA World Tag Team Championship Tournament: Chris Harris and James Storm def. Paul London and Brian Kendrick in 9:14: A pretty good way to kick off the show. Kendrick looked to have things going his way when he dived off the top rope, but James Storm cracked him with a Superkick. AMW then put London away with the Death Sentence.
The camera cuts to Ricky Steamboat's office where he is with Rena Mero, Scott Steiner and Jeff Jarrett. Steamboat tells Steiner that Rena and Jarrett are banned from ringside in Steiner's main event match. Steiner flips, and begins to scream at Steamboat as Rena and Jeff restrain him, and usher him out of the office. All three of them looking pissed.
2. Alexis Laree def. Daffney in 5:31: This was a decent ladies match, but it wasn't anything special. Daffney went up top to finish Laree off with the Frankenscreamer, but Laree held onto the ropes and Daffney went crashing down to the mat. When Daffney got to her feet, Laree dived off the top rope and connected with a Tornado DDT for the victory.
We see Norman Smiley backstage talking with an arena worker when Scott Steiner blindsides him with a big clothesline. Steiner begins to punch and stomp away at Smiley before launching him into a wall and leaving him down and out.
3. AJ Styles def. Jerry Lynn in 13:49: This was a solid match, that was completely even the entire match. Both men battled back and forth, and both of them almost won the match several times. AJ caught Lynn offguard with a nice dropkick before nailing the Styles Clash for the victory. Afterwards, Lynn offered Styles a handshake, but Styles instead slapped Lynn's hand and left the ring to heat from the crowd.
A video played showing us James Mitchell with CM Punk. Mitchell cut a good promo about The New Church before revealing the newest addition to the stable - Kevin Fertig. Fertig entered with his long black trenchcoat, and black hair. Mitchell warned the winners of the tag title tournament to watch their backs, because it's only a matter of time before Fertig and Punk are the new champions. Mitchell then reminded us that the final addition to the stable will be unvealed in the near future.
4. NWA World Tag Team Championship Tournament: Animal and Hawk def. Elix Skipper and Kid Romeo in 7:11: Romeo and Skipper had a huge obstacle infront of them tonight in The Road Warriors, and they put up one heck of a fight. Animal and Hawk where the ones advancing when they hit the Doomsday Device onto Skipper for the win.
Jeremy Borash interviewed Low-Ki backstage. Low-Ki announced that he will be using his number one contendership for TAKA Michinoku's X-Division Championship in two weeks time, at pay-per-view fifteen.
We then see Scott Steiner and the current reigning NWA World Heavyweight Champion, Eddie Guerrero both making their way through the hallways respectively. A tale of the tape is shown for both men.
5. NWA World Heavyweight Championship: Scott Steiner def. Eddie Guerrero to become the new champion in 24:04: This encounter of Steiner/Guerrero was far better than their first encounter both wrestling wise, and fan interaction wise. It was a nice back and forth match without any distractions from Rena Mero. Eddie looked to have the match in the bag when he hit a Diving Hurricanrana, but Steiner kicked out. Steiner got the match won after hitting a Fallaway Slam from the top rope before locking in the Steiner Recleiner, and Eddie had no choice but to tap out. Rena Mero and Jeff Jarrett then came running to the ring, and Rena, Jeff and Steiner all celebrated in the ring as Steiner raised the title up.

Awesome way to kick off PPV#13. Glad AMW won tbh as I thought Kendrick/London would win the whole tourney. Styles/Lynn looked ok, glad Styles won the match. Main Event was epic. Little disapointed Eddie's reign is already over but you had to put the belt on Steiner at this point. Steiner should make a great champion and I hope this storyline continues and I would like to see Steiner feuding with some other talent over the title in TNA. Keep up the good work Jord.
