Honestly to me that’s part of collecting. Having hard to find or rare figures that are desirable. I don’t have every figure I wanted but I either save or just chalk it up as something I won’t. What real fun is collecting if you have stuff everyone else in the hobby has. I get this logic when discussing exact rereleases of specific attires, but I think it’s kind of ridiculous to think that whole characters or eras of wrestlers who have unmade attires should be “locked” solely for older collectors. I don’t think they should be locked or not made but enough is enough. Some guys only need to have one or two figures and that’s enough. No need to capitalize on the market all the time. I get it once in a while figures are in high demand so mattel remakes a certain guy. But at this point it’s getting kind of ridiculous |

You know, the way so many of you blast re-releases, it's like you forget that not everyone has been collecting Mattel figures since Day One. Not everyone who is in this hobby has been in it hardcore since 2010. There are new collectors every day who, for the record, don't have thousands of dollars to drop on the old elites. And, to those new collectors, having re-release elites like Andre and such is a godsend because it means we can finally afford to add them to our collection. I'm so damn tired of having to point out that not all collectors have ample funds and ample opportunities. Just stop already. Honestly to me that’s part of collecting. Not really surprised these didn’t sell out. If they had a cap number on them and were truly limited you might get more people to bite at 40$. Only real die hard collectors are spending that and even then it’s kind of hard to justify that for a Ryder or Hebner.

Wow. These lineups are lackluster to say the least. Andre? We have about 6 of him and he only wore so much.
Hurricane we just had 2 of in the elite line. How many more looks does he really have that we need?
Jake the snake? I get it he’s a popular legend and had tons of attires, we don’t need everyone in figure form though. Especially because we just had 2.
The DX seems like it will be from the WCW invasion which is kind of cool. I guess it’s something different. I would still like another 123 kid.
Mean Mark. It’s whatever. Cool they are making him but it wasn’t a huge want.
Apa is cool but I want a Justin Hawk and a gladiator farooq like someone else said. Acolytes isn’t the worst though.
But at the end of the day it’s all repaints and rereleases of characters we have gotten over and over. I’m hoping the virtual comic con has done surprises but not really sure since these leaked. Mattel said not being able to sign names themselves won’t hurt but I really think its headed that way.

These Legends lineups are just not doing it for me. Just more and more repeated wrestlers with maybe one interesting pick per wave. Meh. Yeah it’s getting harder and harder for me to justify wanting to spend the money on these. I don’t need 4 versions of every guy under a legends deal |

I Wonder if Jeff Jarrett signing with ZST will mean he won’t be eligible for an elite? Was kind of hoping he’d be a big elite reveal at SDCC. On the other hand getting a Hasbro fog drawn up by Ron Rudat is pretty exciting. Best thing I can tell you not to do is get your hopes up for any figures from Mattel. Just enjoy the repaints after repaints. Getting really tired of them. I don’t know how much more I can take of the same guys over and over and over. I think Mattel legends are getting to be doomed. As sad as it sounds and I don’t want it to be. Until they are allowed to sign their own, they aren’t getting much |

I have a single shelf that as I get new figures they go on it. I have all my HBKs in the back though. As I get new figures the old ones go into a small clear tub I keep in the corner next to it. If it gets filled I just buy another one. I keep all the accessories in baggies with what figure they are from written on them in a seperate storage. I just don’t have space to display all my stuff. I wish I did.

A store opened up near me is starting to hold signings and most of the guys have classic figures. I’m thinking about getting some signed. Is there a good paint pen or marker that would look good on all the figures to give them a uniform look? Or would using different colors work better? Need a little help
