Man, I think this is gonna come to a crawl if we don’t hit 5k before Macho Man ends. Yeh I see this dying once Macho is off the table as well. Hopefully it gets there tomorrow and it’s made. As much as I’d love the doink too, I don’t see it getting there |

No I really don’t and I should. When I order online I’m more inclined to use them though and I’ll usually look up a code. When I’m out in the regular stores i usually don’t for whatever reason.

Everyone has hobbies and what they like to do. I don’t know if she gets her nails done or such but if you don’t spend tons on figures already pitch it that way. I don’t get my nails done and all that. That’s the nice way to do it in my opinion.

Can we dead the secondary market argument? Viewing collectibles as just value accruing assets is not a way a lot of people collect. It takes the joy out of the hobby. I turned around and backed 2 of them today because I thought the value was worth it and that macho will probably be awesome, but I’m not gonna all of a sudden start shilling arguments on why folks who still don’t want it need to buy it. If it was a regular release I wouldn’t agree with the reselling/scalping method but for this and to get people to fund it I say go for it. I firmly believe this will only go up in value and will help fund other projects. It’s kind of a win win |

Backing this is probably the easiest thing to do right now If this one doesn't get backed, I am willing to guarantee they never do another backing project again for wwe, if they do it'll be a looooooong time before they do Well we won’t see a golden era package like this if it isn’t backed. I say your best bet is to back, and if down the line they do a golden era set then sell the parts to this you don’t want, you’ll make a fortune and clear space. In the meantime you’ve set yourself up for a cool centrepiece Enablers! All of you!  Lol I’m just trying to get this one out and help people. I think this will be a hot reseller item down the line |

I think this is a pretty sweet deal. I just don’t know what to do. I really only have space for once centerpiece like this, so I should wait for a Golden era version. But will there even be a Golden era version? And I’m such a sucker for complete packages like this. Buy it then sell it as stuff comes out you want. I wonder what the terms are of a Legends/merch contract? Seems like very few past legends sign them. I think it’s just so much easier for these guys to make money elsewhere. Especially with all these other toy lines coming out |

The problem is no one is seeing this. Outside of an older internet few who really knows about the Mattel creations site? Not many. The internet crowd makes up such a small percentage of collectors and it’s now showing. I talked to a few casual collectors I knew that had no clue about any of this. With no comic con in person you didn’t even get the foot traffic of the con. It should have been advertised at a WM or a summerslam axxess and people may have been more willing Now that you mention this, it makes me realize that until I found these forums 6 months or so ago, I was completely out of the loop on wwe figures. Without these forums I'd have likely missed sarge, the ring, Legends 12 pre order and I'd have given up long ago on Legends 10 and 11. I wonder how they could get more eyes on this. Outside of doing a commercial or a plug or 3 on wwe shows, I can't think of anything. Someone posted an idea they should have limited this to 8000 orders and offered the whole package up front. I bet it would be well above 5000 at this point if they did that. They should have put it either on the back of the packages of figures starting with elite whatever and ending with elite whatever and or putting a little insert in the package. Both would have been a good free advertisement. |

None. Asking their opinion is one thing but if they aren’t doing the job or have to go to it everyday why should they have a say in it? Especially if they met you while you were already there. I couldn’t imagine going to a job I hate everyday because that’s what my significant other wanted.

I wonder if two debut figures get this going a bit more. Maybe 3-4 elites instead of 2 ultimates? I just don’t think it has the casual collectors attention. Not many people know about Mattel creations or these online sites. I talked to one casual collector the other day who had no idea about it. It should have been advertised on elite boxes or have a little flyer in the packages.
