SmackDown taping in progress 31/08/08

WWE SMACKDOWN:
- HHH will face the Great Khali in the main event. Shelton Benjamin, MVP, Jeff Hardy and THE Brian Kendrick will be Lumberjacks.

- HHH comes to the ring and gets a great ovation. Shelton follows, proclaiming that he is the gold standard, which doesn't impress HHH. He then challenges Shelton to another match, but this brings out MVP and THE Brian Kendrick. HHH takes a beat down and then Jeff Hardy makes the save momentarily, but gets beat down as well. HHH then gets a chair and clears the ring.

- R-Truth defeated Bam Neeley. Truth sang his theme song and came through the crowd.

- The Undertaker cuts a promo on Vickie, promising to put her in a coffin and burn it.

- Shelton Benjamin defeated MVP

- Maryse defeated Maria

- THE Brian Kendrick defeated Jeff Hardy with help from Zeke.

- Super Crazy defeated Ryan Braddock

Looks like Ryan Braddock is becoming the new Braden Walker.

Cool to see Kendrick beat Jeff, and ditto on Shelton's win over MVP... but Kendrick's promo was all about avoiding potential distraction or injury that could prolong or prevent his greatest success.... and yet, he's wrestling exactly one week later. I guess that's logic.

WWE SmackDown (Airing Friday)
* Triple H opens SmackDown with an Unforgiven promo. Shelton Benjamin comes out and interrupts saying that he plans on adding a little more gold to his collection.

MVP comes out and says he is better than everyone and Shelton is more like fools gold. Brian Kendrick comes out and attacks Hunter from behind. MVP and Shelton Benjamin join in on the attack until Jeff Hardy comes out for the save.

* R-Truth b. Bam Neely
- Killings comes out through the crowd rapping. Chavo was at ringside with Neely. Killings scored the win via pinfall.

* The Undertaker comes out. He cuts a promo about Vickie's dead lifeless body and burning flesh. He says she can join her husband Edge in hell.

* Shelton Benjamin b. MVP
- Shelton got the win via pinfall.

* Maryse b. Maria
- After the match Michelle McCool comes out and stares down Maryse.

* Brian Kendrick b. Jeff Hardy
- Kendrick got the win via pinfall after interference from Ezekiel Jackson.

* Super Crazy b. Ryan Braddock
- After the match Vladimir Kozlov comes out and attacks Super Crazy. He then talks about not having any competition. Big Show comes out to the ring.

* Big Show vs. Vladimir Kozlov
- Vickie comes out and says she will not allow for the match to happen. She demands that the Big Show get out of the ring and go home or he will be fined and suspended.

Vickie is drawing so much heat you can't hear what she is saying. She does however say that she will no longer let the Undertaker intimidate her. She will not allow it on SmackDown.

* Brie Bella b. Victoria
- Brie got the win via pinfall. She dominated throughout the match.

* Triple H is shown backstage. Jeff Hardy interrupts and says that Hunter has a big problem and that problem is him. Hunter pretends he is on the phone and hands it to Jeff saying it's Doctor Black.

* Triple H b. The Great Khali in a lumber jack match
- Jeff Hardy, MVP, Brian Kendrick, and Shelton Benjamin are lumber jacks on the outside. Triple H gets the win via pinfall after a pedigree on Khali. He then proceeds outside to pedigree the lumber jacks.

By the look of things, it seems as though Punk will retain and Triple H will lose at Unforgiven.

i read to this line and gasped before seeing the end of it. the "edge" thing doesn't even save it though. just really depressing to have a widow of a beloved wrestler do this stuff.

I was thinking the same exact thing man, I am so tired of Triple H as champion. He makes all of his challengers look like garbage leading up to their PPV match then beats them there too. It's the same deal he did as a heel champion on RAW years ago.

Yeah, I would say HHH has been terrible as champion for long time now, and we all knew he will win the gold back at Unforgiven, Jeff Hardy, MVP, Kendrick and Benjamin have NO chance for to win the title off from HHH. Because HHH will just buying them, and jobber to them when the match about to end.

I think HHH need let the title go from him, he can't keep on and off and on with the title. HHH can have an major storyline which the title doesn't have to be involved, like as HBK and Jericho, they are one of major feud/storyline at WWE today, and there nothing about the title. So, HHH can do it.

Or, HHH can just back to mid-carder or part-time wrestler and allowed to see youngest talent to achivement what they like to. Like as Glen Jacobs (Known well as Kane) who refused to win an WWE or WHC Champion, or win Royal Rumble, because he liked to see youngest and talents wrestlers to win the title or Rumble. Recently, WWE was forced Glen Jacobs to accept win Rumble and the title, and Glen end up refused, or he'd quitting WWE if WWE continue with that. So WWE end up stop to continue doing this.
(Interesting fact, Glen Jacobs (Kane) and Shane McMahon is best friends in real life)

Sadly, HHH just selfish guy, he think its OK because he's Chairman's son-in-law. But which wasn't really OK to do that and that. I really can't understand why Triple H's fan loved him, maybe they didn't see the truth about him. Shame, really.

i was there & Victoria did not get dominated by bria at all . since it is 2 girls that are twins they pulled a suprise roled up. victoria dominated most of the match not bria
