So a few minutes ago I was thinking about going to Tranmere Rovers vs Hartlepool today, Tranmere's first home game of the season. The game is categorised "B" (they use A, B and C game categories) With me being 15 it only costs me £5 anyway but for my dad to go it would cost £19 I think thats just ridicolous for league 1 football against not a big opponent at all in hartlepool.... Something has to be done, last season tickets were £16 which I still thought were harsh for League 1 You could go to a PL game for what, £22-25? only problem is its near-impossible to get Liverpool tickets with the amount of fans they have amount of season ticket holders etc and the fact that the stadium only holds 40,000 or so so I go to like 1 liverpool game a season, not because of the price but because of how hard it is to get a ticket So yer, there's my rant for the day.

Yeah, I agree the prices these days are ridiculous.
Sunderland have the A & B categories too and today's game with Liverpool will cost you £32, while the last PL game I went to was against Wigan which cost me £20, even the Ajax tickets were £20 which is a rip-off especially for a friendly.
For me It's not the prices of the tickets (hell i'd pay a lot too see Sunderland), it's the journey for me, travelling from Brighton up to Sunderland is one hell of a journey.

I think Leeds went up a pound, so I think it's £17 a ticket.

Brighton's worse, it's about £23-£27 for a Home Adults ticket, and that's at the Withdean...
Chelsea's slowly improving though, I remember a couple of Seasons ago I paid £55 for a Sheffield United Ticket. Last Season though, all Carling Cup, FA Cup and Champions League Group Games were only £25 a Ticket. Premiership's £45 though.

a category A game at tranmere is £22 which is literally a price for a cup or lower prem game at Anfield... what a joke :/ Gene £17 is okay for adults even though its obviously still league 1 since you failled in the play-off final if tranmere was £17 every game that'd be okay but im not and my dads not paying £22 or £19 for league 1 football... it holds 11K or so but normally only gets 6.5K ish 7K people on a good day. The ticket pricing is the reason for that but seriously how can they charge the same for league 1 football as they do for premier league ha ha

I think Leeds went up a pound, so I think it's £17 a ticket. lol Leeds haven't had tickets that low for about 10 years. It costs £28 for a ticket against Oldham today and that's lower than usual. Prices are a disgrace. The Premier League should put a cap on prices clubs charge. My ticket for tomorrow's £33, when I first started going in 95 it would cost my dad about £10 less for an adult ticket. It's a big difference over a season.

I stopped going to watch United in 2005, Not just because of the Glazer take over, but because of the price. £36 a match for my previous season ticket now, were it was £23 a match in 2001/2002. It's not far off doubled. Plus being honest, the players don't care if I could afford it, they just drive flashy Mercks and Jags. The average fan has been out priced everywhere I just sit a home now, watching the beautiful game disappear before me.

It was £1 for a Kid at City on Thursday! Don't know what usual prices are I've had a season ticket since 1997/8.

Only went to one home game last season. Go to alot of away games though, as it's miles cheaper.
