My Vote: This has been one of the best weeks in awhile and this just proves it. An epic main event right here. I love both and I cannot really choose, but after a good hard look, I gotta go with Cabana. His head is just dead on and the attire is a little more accurate then MJH's.

MJH vs Cabana.


MJH:A great figure the attire is great and the head mod looks good and smooth. My only fault is the right (our right) cheek,as i said on AIM. it just looks stuck out where you added lighting.


Cabana: Best of the week. The head is awesome, and the attire is insane. The attire is spot on.

MJH vs. Cabana

MJH - Love the whole figure. Not much i can say but the whole figure is great as always. Rating: A+

Cabana - Love this one too. The attire is great, as is the head. good job. Rating: A+

Vote: I hate tough choice matches. But MJH as it is cleaner and looks more like crush. and i like the attire more.

Beaverman- The head is the biggest flaw of this figure. The upper body is too big and slanted which is also bad. Make sure to clean up around the figure, it's very messy on the white parts. USE LARGE PROTOS THEN SAVE THEM SMALLER WHEN YOU ARE DONE!

Mattie!- The head in this is also your biggest flaw. The face is much too large for the head . Pretty good job on the recolor.

VOTE: Mattie! Although both had bad heads, Mattie! got the skin tone to match.

Joey- This is a good mod, and is very clean, good to see you using the large protos.

Kody- This is also a really good mod, but the head is too tall and that throws off the figure.

Swanton- The 5 oclock shaddow is much too dark and the hair line needs work.

VOTE: Joey, out of the three this was the cleanest figure and everything looked correct.

Double B- Good attempt with the attire, good to see some contrast on the stars. The head definitely doesn't work. The shading is on the complete opposite side of the shading on the body. Clean it up a bit around the head and attire on the background.

Duan Duan Duaner- The head makes my penis soft. It is a bit too large and doesn't have enough color. The logo on the shirt is stretched to the right too much, if you were looking at the figure straight on you would see that it is off.

Teh- This is a good figure. A little too much shading on the head. Nice upper body mod, it is a bit globby, but is a great attempt. The shirt looks good.

VOTE: Teh, the head works better on his figure than the head and Duaners.

Phoenix- This is a great PS figure, but the head is too small. There should me more of a top of a head. Tattoos are placed really well upon the body, good head choice.

BDTTK- The first thing that stands out to me is the eyebrows. They look too animated and are a bit to dark. I'm not really liking the wrist/glove things. They look too cartoony. The belt is pixilated from being enlarged for the proto. I think this figure would have looked a lot better without the gloves and extremely dark eyebrows.

VOTE: Phoenix, your figure was a bit sharper and was cleaner because of that.

Bret- This is one of the best figures I've seen from you in a while. I really like the head mod and attire. I'm not too in to the arm things or that there is a mess of stuff in between the head and arm.

Gaz to the za: The head needs to be cleaned up on the background. There are smudge marks on the tights and boots.

VOTE: Bret, Gazza looks like he just gave up, there are a good amount of sloppy parts.

Dielawn: I wish I had some better tattoo images. I think this is one of my bests.

G1: I'm digging the attire and tats. I'm just kind of iffy with the head, but it's a great figure.

MJH: I like the attire a lot but the head definitely ruins the figure. His head is more of a pear shape with a rounded hair line not a squared one. I don't think it looks like him at all.

Cabana: I love this figure. I think the upper body is a bit too wide and the wrist bands are a bit weird. I love the attire and head mod.

BeaverMan vs. Mattie

Whilst beaverman's has decent proportions and a decent part combination the head is very blurry and doesnt look plastic it's also dark. Mattie's looks overdone and whilst tones match it seems to have lost more likeness than it should've. The attire looks too dark and over saturated.

Vote : Mattie overall he did better imo with the head.

Joey vs. Kody vs. Swanton

All have little flaws but distinctly on kody's and Swanton's I can point out major flaws straight away. On kody's the head is squashed and unproportioned and Swanton has duplicated the singlet which doesnt match up with the lighting, whilst some times more work is to be applauded it shouldnt be considered good if it ruins the figure, there is such a thing as overkill. If Swanton hadnt done hat he did with the singlet he wouldda got my vote.

Joey - Simply because he has less major flaws than the other two.

Duaner vs. Teh Game

Big thing I notice about duaner's is the discolouration and darkness of the head, on Teh game's there is a similar problem it looks bronzed with discolouration is parts this however is all over the body whereas duaner's is just on the head, I'm not gonna go deeper than this because not much can make up for the skin tones.

Vote: Duaner simply because his problems are constricted to the head.

Phoenix vs. BDTTK

Well both did good attires and I feel each equalled each other out, that being that BDTTK's lower half is better but Phoenix's upper half is better so it's down to the heads. On the heads I feel BDTTK did better but didn't do great I just feel phoenix executed the head mod badly and the top half makes it look flat.

Vote: BDTTK, overall it's better because of the head.

Gazza vs. Hitman

I would vote Gazza because I absolutely hate the fins on Hitmans, but then that'd be unfair to vote on something Gazza didnt do so I'll judge on the bits both did, for this I feel Hitman did a better job on the tights even though they have a very airbrushed dreamy feel which doesnt look too good, Gazza's show the marks from the clone tool which is worse imo. On the heads I feel Gazza did better whilst Hitman's hair is better gazza's isn't too far behind, Gazza's face looks solid shiny and plastic like a jakks head and Hitman's head like some of his others I've seen recently, looks well... like melted rubber which is also hat his fins look like. I honestly hte this look because after all we are trying to make jakks like heads not LJN heads.

Vote: Gazza on first glance Hitman's looks better but that;s because of the added colour minue the accessories which looks pretty bad anyway and Gazza's has the better texture like quality for a jakks figure which is why he gets my vote.

Dielawn vs. G1

I'll start with the heads on this one both looks very soft and rubbery, dielawn more so. I just dislike the kinda look of the head considering jakks heads are nearly always shiy and when they arent the torso definately isnt shiny but on Dielawn's the torso is shiny so the head should follow suit so it looks like you've put a soft rubber head on a hard plastic figure. G1's head actually suits in this cass because it has more shine than dielawn did but it is also placed on a matte body so it suits. Now onto the singlets, both look off, Dielawns mainly because it has no shadow and doesnt follow the torso properly to be called "skin tight" at least not skin tight enough not have a shadow this set's back the whole figure. G1's is better because it's supposed to look molded and folows the torso oly problem is it would still have a tiny shadow in parts, also the Singlet looks too sharp because of the bevel and emboss useage singlets look more like blobs of paint so you're better off adding in the light manually. Both singlets leave much to be desired imo. Tattoos are flawless on both and are the only thing I dont have a problem with.

Vote: G1- Dielawn's fig was severly let down by the singlet realism and head so although I'm not a fan of G1's singlet I prefer his and his head is good.

Cabana - Well this week I havent really liked any figs, I dunno if I just feel overly truthful today or if I just feel overly synicle either way Cabana's is the only fig this week (including my own) that I like he clearly did alot of work and although has one or two flaws IMO it blows every fig on this card out of the water. TBH if Cabana isnt world champ soon I will be very surprised.

Swanton- even thoe i dont like his beard its the best head plus he added a strap

Teh Game- alot more work done on his and a better head

Bret- there both great but Bret did alot more work so he deserves the vote

G1- well both great figs but dielawns head is off colour and his shoulders dont have tats wtf?? and G1's got a good head and great attire

both are good figures i like them my vote goes to duaner as i like the alliance mvp t-shirt and i prefer the head.

Phoenix vs. BDTTK
nice turn out for the match espicially all the tattoos my vote how goes to pheonix looks more like a figure and BDTTK's torso looks like it needs to be rotated onto the trousers.

Bret vs. Gazza
wow this is a tough decision crikey amazing work by both gazza and bret my vote goes to bret as i like the entrance gear but the only problem is that his boots look like their dissapearing.

Great One vs. Dielawn
another great match here the work is amazing by the 2 however my vote goes to dielawn as i think he has made the better head out of the 2 and i prefer the singlet.

MJH vs. CabanaClassic
wow basically sums this match up the figures are mindblowing this is one great match i love both of the attires but when the decision comes to me it goes to cabana as MJH's nose (on the figure) looks a little strange the rest of the figure is fine but my vote goes to cabana

Beaverman vs. Mattie

Beaverman:
PROS:
• Torso Choice.
• I like the attire choice.
• Parts on the tights look good.

CONS:
• The head is way too blurry, you lose all the detail of the face.
• Head doesn't look plastic and/or figure like.
• Skin tones are off between the body and the face.
• The head looks too large for the body.
• The body is pretty close in proportion but the torso needs to be just a bit bigger.
• The logos on the pants especially the R looks really pixilated. I think this may be from using hue/saturation and it not getting everything. Try color balance and bit more instead.
• Left wrist band looks pixilated as well.

MATTIE:
Pros:
• I like the fact you added a shirt.
• I like the fact you made the tights from scratch.

Cons:
• The face is WAY too big.
• The face looks too flushed out and you've lost alot of details by doing so. I think whats happening is when you're trying to match skin tones you're making things too bright and then when you smudge you're working at a much higher opacity than you need to. Knock down the opacity to about 3-5%
• The cuts on the logos look really rough, i'm guessing you used the magic wand tool? you'll never get a clean cut from that. Instead use the polygonal tool and cut around the border of the design, it will be crisper and look loads better.

MY VOTE: Mattie Both figures had their fair share of flaws. Both of you really need to work on your heads. I see mattie making a little improvement here and there but you're still making the same mistakes every week. You guys can always pm me for tips or help and i'd be more than happy to help out. Also work on your cuts. I voted for Mattie becuase i feel his head was better and i liked his attire more.

Joey:
Pros -
• I like the head mod, its simple but its very effective.
• The attire is accurate for the time period.
• I like the hair choice.

Cons -
• Some cuts on various parts of the hair look a little rough.
• The facial hair isnt exactly accurate, i would have liked to see a stubble beard only.


Kody:
Pros -
• Attire choice is effective and accurate.

Cons -
• The head proportions seem to be out of whack, almost like the head is to streache dout vertically.
• The hair is decent but i think the color is off, it looks too blonde, same goes for the facial hair and eyebrows.

Swanton:
Pros -
• The head mod is good

Cons -
• The stuble is way too dark.
• The hair has some rough cuts and lacks any shadow underneath. on a different layer adding in a low opacity shadow under the hair helps the transition.
• The attire choice is inaccurate (Giant didn't wear elbow or knee pads during this period, also he only had one strap not two)

My Vote: JOEY I think joey made a very effective figure this week. Almost everything is clean and he also had less faults than the other two. Swanton probably would had gotten my vote had the stubble not been so dark and he picked an attire without elbow/knee pads.

Pros:
• I like that you took chances and challenged yourself on the attire.

Cons:
• The skin tones on the head are way too dark and the light perspective doesnt match up.
• The head just looks like its pasted on top, adding in a slight shadow on the neck under the jaw would help the transition.
• Head doesnt look very plastic/figure like.
• There are spots on your attire design that goes right over the joints and are all the same shade throughout, they dont have any light/dark areas that would be represented like it would be if it were painted on plastic. Using the burn/dodge tool to add in darker areas and lighter areas is an effective way to give it some depth.

Duaner vs. Teh Game

Duaner:
Pros -
• Attire choice is effective, kinda simple but effective.
• The shirt logo follows the perspective which is a nice touch.

Cons -
• The skin tones are close on the head but still off and the head seems too dark overall.
• The head looks too big for the body.
• I would have liked to see ring gear instead.


Teh Game:
Pros -
• I like the attire choice.
• Skin tones match.
• Head overall is good.

Cons -
• The cut on the bottom of the jaw is a little off and i can see a white line.
• I still think your skin tones are too orange, maybe desaturate them a bit.

My Vote: Teh Game Teh Game gets my vote for having the better head. Both figures had good and bad things but Teg Games was a better produced figure.

Phoenix vs. BDTTK

Phoenix:
Pros:
• Attire is effective and appropriate.
• I like the taped hands.
• Tattoos are nicely done.
• Tones match

Cons -
• I like the head but its too small.
• Hakushi never wore boots, taped feet are more accurate.


BDTTK:
Pros -
• The pants are interesting (in a good way).
• Tattoos look good.
• Head looks good.
• Love that you used bare feet.
• Tones match

Cons -
• I dont like how the wrist/hand tape looks.
• The head looks too big.
• The perspective of the torso with the position the lower body is facing looks unnatural.

My Vote: BDTTK It was close as both figures had things i liked and didnt like. I feel like this was a hard stip and i'm happy with what you guys were able to produce. I feel like BDTTK's head was better and more effective, and i liked the attention to the subtle details like the feet.

• I dont care what anyone says i like the dragon wings and chest piece.
• Head looks figure like/plastic.
• Attire looks good and is effective.
• Wrist bands look cool.

Cons -
• The chest piece is just a tad off center.
• head looks just a TAD too big.

GAZZA
Pros -
• Attire is effective and accurate.
• Tones match on the head.
• I like to torso choice.

Cons -
• I see some black on the waist that didnt get cut off.
• The boots look sloppy on the right side.
• The tights have a couple spots that look sloppy on the right side.
• The head isnt bad but could look a little more plastic/figure like.

My Vote: Bret I like what Bret did with the entrance gear. I feel like Brets figure was cleaner and had more strong points than negative ones.

Dielawn:
Pros -
• I love the head.
• Attire is spot on in accuracy.
• I think the tattoos look good.
• The attire is great, love the cloth singlet.
• My favorite figure this week.

Cons -
• Only thing i see i dont like is transition of the jaw to the neck, its just too crisp with the tone change and could use a little shadow.

G1:
Pros -
• Attire looks great and is accurate.
• Tattoos are really ing cool, i cant believe you drew all them!
• Torso choice is great.
• Tones match.

Cons -
• I appreciate what you did with the head but i'm just not really feeling it... looks too cartoony for me, but i do think you got his likeness down greatly in just a more charactered way. Other than that i really like the figure.

My Vote: Dielawn Both figures are good in there own ways but the head on g1's brings it down for me. I think Dielawn really stepped up and created one of the best figures i've seen in a long time. A great match that totally didnt disappoint.
