So I guess when the wrestlers refer to "The boys in the back", they must be racists.

So I guess when the wrestlers refer to "The boys in the back", they must be racists. wow some of you guys don't understand the context of the word or how it's used. The word boy isn't racist, it's the demeanor and context it's used in relation to a black man that can be. Now was Hayes using "boy" in a demeaning fashion? Well it's hard to say, but boy has been a racist term in the south for years. It implies superiority over a black person with the implication being that the one saying it is a man and is worthy of calling the other person a boy. I know alot of you don't see that as racist, but it is in the sense that the word could be used about blacks with no other description and people would undertand who they were refering to. Seeing as Hayes now has a track record, it doesn't bode well for him. He needs to be concious of his word choice and I gurantee you he understands that boy could be concieved as racist. I'll be frank and this won't be popular but it's the truth. Alot of you are teenage white kids from upper-class suburbia, that's not me generalizing either, it's WWE's target audience. And alot of you have not been exposed nor educated on the subject of race very well. (I'm not saying I'm the most versatile person in this filed either) Racism is alot more prevolent in our country then it seems, and some of you may think that people are tip toeing around something not that big but it is. This may seem small and harmless but trust me it's got bigger implications then you think. Really that's it, alot of you won't understand this subject because you'll never be forced to learn about it or feel it's effects, and that's kind of sad to me, but whatever that's my rant.

Other than take up space...what exactly has Michael hayes done for wrestling? that's what I thought...fire his butt your comments now have no validity. Hayes revolutionized tag team wrestling in the 80s. Anybody who knows a shred of info on WCCW knows his contributions. Again, what exactly has he done for wrestling. The Freebirds hardly revolutionized anything outside of the Southeast, so I'm not hearing that. He's garbage
