I read Young Avengers #3 last night. Pretty good read. It's the worst issue so far though, but it was still pretty good. I'm really digging the Young Avengers a lot. ANT-GIRL is awesome. Wow! #3 was a great issue... I didn't see the reveal coming at all, I was so wrong about who it was. Oh and too whoever said they were enjoying Rogue and Gambit they are both being axed with #12 Marvel Team Up sales aren't looking too good either

Anyone a fan of Tom DeFalco?
I got my Green Goblin #1-5, 7-10 (Have 6 already) today from ebay and again the guy has impressed me.
He's a really fun, old school writer... I love his writing!
After loving both Green Goblin and J2 I've decided to give Spider-Girl a try. I hope I can track down back issues.

Cover price, at best. X-Man and Ultimate X-Men are good reads, though.

No! I decided to head to the comic shop today and too my horror I was told they would be closing and moving to York. So thats my last local back issue comic book store shutting down. I've very bummed although, hopefully I'll be able to drive soon and will be able to go there. Anyway, they were trying to get rid of as much stock as possible so I scrambled through the long boxes for the comics I wanted. I hope to go back in a few weeks before they finally close but who knows! I got:
Untold Tales of Spider-Man #4 Spider-Man Chapter One #3-7, 12 Spectacular Spider-Man #253, 258 Amazing Spider-Man #428, 482, 488, 507 Spider-Girl #4, 7-8, 14-15, 18-22, 50, 57-58, 79 Spider-Man Tangled Web #14 Spider-Man #77
29 issues. £1.06 an issue... not bad, not bad at all! It sucks Universal Export is moving but oh well! I'll miss the place and the great staff who helped me out alot. Hopefully I'll find out where they are going to and will be able to pop down every few months. The comic collectors in York sure are lucky!

Finally got New Avengers #5 today. I should have had it like two weeks ago, but the shipment they got was damaged, so they had to send the majority of them back. Then last week they didn't get them in when they were suppose to, so finally they had them today. I can't wait to crack open issue #5 of my favorite comic series that's out right now.

I read New Avengers #5, and the series has sort of leveled off now. I'm not really amazed like I was in previous issues, but it's still fantastic. I found this funny, I bought Amazing Spider-man #519 weeks ago, before New Avengers #5 was released...
*SPOILERS*
In Spider-man #519, Peter, MJ, and Aunt May move into the New Avenger's HQ. Well when they get there, none other than Wolverine is there, with the New Avengers. Just found it kind of funny due to the fact that TNA #5 wasn't even out yet, and there he was in the mansion.
END SPOILERS
I suppose it was because issue #4 (I think that's the one) kept being delayed week after week.

More of a continuity error than a spoiler, really.

I just finished reading the TPBs for JLA that are released so far. 1-16. I love the series. In fact, I like it so much, (and Dr. Fate), that I decided to start reading the JSA TPB's as well. I picked up 1-3 the other day.
Good times.
And anyone have any info on what this new "Crisis" series is going to be?

If you mean JLA v3, then yeah it rocks till Austen gets on the book and s it in the ass. But Waids run was ing awesome, I love the nightmare arc that ran for a few issues and the Ra's storyline where he got ahold of Bats' plans to kill everyone.

What are some good "Marvel Essentials'? Do any feature Captain America and Black Panther?

There's definitely at least one Essential Captain America. He could also be found in the Essential Avengers books. If there isn't an Essential Black Panther already, I doubt it'll be long before he gets one. He'd be in the first Fantastic Four book for sure.

Anyone know if New Avengers #6 is still on schedule to come out this week? Diamond's shipping list ( www.diamondcomics.com/shipping.asp ) doesn't have it listed for this week or the next.
