Anyone check out the new Black Panther series? I really wasn't impressed... I try to branch out from X-Men and Spider-Man and get bit in the butt. I'm giving it till the end of the first arc if it doesn't pick up its gone.
I hope it gets better if not I have very little hope for Marvel Knights Spider-Man if this who is taking over.

I got it and wasn't horribly impressed. I'll stick around at least for the first arc to rap up. Sadly, the guy that wrote this is taking over MK Spider-Man. But at least that's a charcater I like.

I read Black Panther 2099 #1, I was impressed with that. I thought it was great. However, I havn't checked any of the new Black Panther comics, I want to though. I'm reading New Avengers, Cable & Deadpool, Marvel MAX Punisher, Astonishing X-Men and Darkness/Superman (Image/DC crossover).

I'm going to have to check out those 2099 books evntually. Robert Kirkman wrote the whole block, and I just can't get enough of him at the moment.

I've been thinking about picking up Inhumans 2099, and giving that a go. I also want Mutant 2099, and Daredevil 2099, I think I'll pass on Punisher. Any idea if they're going to continue these 2099 comics? Because I haven't been able to find information about the #2 issuse coming out.

It was a special event to mark the 5th anniversary of the Marvel Knights imprint. Black Panther, Daredevil, Punisher and Inhumans were the first Marvel Knights books, and 2099 is not only an established Marvel future, but 100 years after the imprint debuted.

Ok, I didn't know that. Guess I should have read into that. It's a shame, because I'd love for them to continue the series. Black Panther 2099 had such an awesome ending.

What does everyone think of She-Hulk? I decided to pick up the TPB today. Its pretty good... very funny at times and gives the sense of a proper superhero universe like Marvel Team Up is currently doing. I think I may need another $3 a month for the relaunch of this title but still not 100% sure. Its a good but I dunno if I'd read it over and over again.

I love She-Hulk. There's such a good balance between humor and superheroes in it. It's why I loved Formerly Known as the Justice League and Invincible. It be be a knock-down, drag-out superhero battle one issue and a light-hearted romp the next.

Mirror, mirror on the wall... ...What comic character do you most relate to in personality, skills, and characteristics? Identity Crisis, Issue 03A mind as sharp as glass? An inclination of skillls? A Sociopath? It's as if Slade, Deathstroke if you prefer, and I share the same body.

*Sigh* I wonder how long it will take before we get Identity Crisis in a TPB.

I already read the first three, and will have them all finished by morning. My friend bought a bunch of Marvel stuff, and I went the DC route. I also picked up the first four TPB of Batgirl. I liked her in No Mans Land, so I figured I would give it a shot. I also got the first TPB of the Batman/Superman series. I read i today, and it was pretty good. Also picked up: Crisis on Infinite earths TPB, and TPBs of JLA: The Nail, and JLA: Another Nail.

This may contain spoilers if you haven't been reading, and want to. Anyone excited about New Avengers #4? I'm hooked, I love it. Sentry ing rocks! It was cool to see Carnage... even though he was desposed of pretty quickly by the Sentry. I love how the comic started, with all the criminals that were contained in one prison all breaking loose during Electro's escape, that was bad ass. Spidey got his ass handed to him. Oh yeah, and it's proposed to run for 500 issues.

Yesterday was about the best day at a comic shop I've seen in a while: Astonishing X-Men #8, JLA Classified #4 (I Can't Believe It's Not the Justice League), She-Hulk #12, Runaways #1, Wolverine (Enemy of the State finale), Space Ghost #4. I can't remember the last time I've gotten so many books on one day that I absolutely loved as much as those I got yesterday.

I got the first issue today and I really enjoyed it
