Weird thread...yes...But I was interested in knowing what some people on here have problems with for their base.
Me...
1. Wind - Everytime we have heavy wind I go outside and see my tarp like getting ready to blow off and then all my stuff is just getting destroyed.
2. Rain - Worst thing ever, I come outside each day and there is like 10 puddles in each section, I try wipping them off and it's still wet....so I wait like a long time for it to dry, sucks so much.
3. Mud - You try rinsing it off..you get water..try whiping it off the water just expands all over the tarp.
4. Hard Spots - I always find a hard spot in my base that is just solid wood, apparently the padding stops covering that area and then BAM! Neck Bump on it and it like kills.
Anyone got any other interesting problems for their base?

First off the only base thats "Stiff" is the old FCW base...
2nd.
Wind- Wind is way worse here in texas.. yes the tarp will blow around u cant do anything about it but tie it down.. and if u have nothign to tie it down with buy a bigger tarp and tuck it under the base.. beling ur "base" doesnt really quallify as a base.. it looks like pillows.. with a tarp over it.
Rain- woopty do u get wet? who cares ... The only way to avoid this is buy an extra tarp and when you are done wrestling/flipping put ut over the base.. then toss it to the side when ur ready to wrestle.
Mud- Why the hell is there randomly mud on ur base? only reeason u would have mud on it is if u brought a crap load of dirt on it in the first place... i sujjest... not worrieng about it? or again using that same extra tarp fro that.
4.Hard Spots- um get though? sereisously if u think a bit of wood hurts.. get tough? sereisously.... thats all i can say... ya it happens, to everyoen.. they dont complain.. so on that matter just stop beign a puss.

No, just landing on a hard spot out of no where is kinda startling since it's much harder than anything else on the base. There's mud on it from our shoes, cause if we fall off the base for a second and step on the dirt it's mostly mud cause my Backyard is a ing swamp.... Yeah the extra tarps is exactly the solution for the rain issue...I shall do that sometime today...possibly...

Yeah dont worry about hard spots it happens to everyoen, our base some spots are all wood, sometimes we redo it sometimes we dont, just depends, it doesn't really bother me when im in the match, so just dont think about it

Our base is TOO padded, we have like 100 pieces of carpeting. But our main problem is since out base is on a slope, over time the plywood and padding shifts down the slope. So next time we fix the base, we're going to get a nail gun and nail those pieces down.

Shawn Phoenix should have his own board, where only he posts. I'd so enjoy reading that.

When we had a base, what we did to stop it from shifting is we nailed the wood the the tires and we used a staplegun to hold the padding fast to the wood, and we also tucked the tarp underneath the tires.
And about hard spots, if you nail the wood to the tires and staple the padding like I said, then you shouldn't have a problem with hard spots unless you don't have yopur entire area covered, obviously.

Our old FCW base was death. For a while we had no padding, just a trampoline frame with 2*12's, plywood over them and a tarp. Hurt soooooo badly to take normal bumps, the pro ring is pillow like in comparison...
I'm not sure if that's what Lee was talking about since there's more than one FCW now but...it was rough to say the least...

We had a normal base, but it was Boxsprings instead of matresses and like one layer of carpet padding so it was pretty stiff. But yours definitely sounded alot worse.
