I haven't seen Velvet Revolver live before but I had their first CD and listened to it for atleast 3 months straight, they are good shit. I'm not to sure about Sick Puppies but if they open for VR they should be decent. Enjoy the show, I've heard they put on a good one.

I like Sick Puppies...but I can't see them going over that well with a Velvet Revolver crowd to be honest. They are nothing even remotely similar. I like both bands. But I would probably be in the minority at that show.

But I would probably be in the minority at that show. When I saw VR, Hoobastank opened for them and the crowd was fairly receptive. Velvet Revlover is AWESOME live. I was front read, dead center. It was bad ass. Have a good time. |

I've seen them (VR) 3 times live and they're awesome. The last time I saw them, this past summer, I thought was the best they sounded of all 3 times. They always put on an excellent show, though, and when I saw them this past August they covered more STP and GNR songs than they did in the past, which I thought was an awesome addition.
