The episode was very good. Figured Doakes had to go since he wouldn't keep Dexter's secret and he may have been able to prove Dexter was the killer if given the chance. Glad to see them also kill off Lila in the end just so next season we wouldn't have to worry about her coming back to cause Dexter trouble. The only thing about this season that seemed kind of weird is that when Doakes was researching Dexter's history he never came across the fact that Brian (the ice truck killer) was his brother.

It is not really a spoiler of the show has already aired twice. Figured since their has been a topic about each episode for a least the last three or four episodes I would start this one tonight. Didn't you kind of think that the topic might be about the episode since it was posted well after the end of the first showing?

Great ep. I couldn't wait and watched it the middle of last week and have been holding it in since then to talk about it. I said in another thread they needed to kill off both Doakes and Lila, and I am glad they did. Very nice how got Lila out of the country and had then had Dexter kill her.
I also thought it was weird Doakes didn't make/find any connection between Dexter and the Ice Truck Killer(his brother).
I am so glad this got renewed.

I also seen on the net that CBS may air the second season sometime soon, just to get new stuff on their air because of the writer stike. The show would be edited, but it could get alot more people into it. I actually got in to the show seeing season 1 air on Direct tv channel the 101 and even edited the show was great and got me to order showtime.
