yeah, I was wondering the same thing. Now its just that crappy mamas family show on at 8:30? It is still scheduled to be released on dvd in feb. right?

Yeah, apparently they took it off the air in October, somewhere in the middle of Season 2. They stopped showing The Wonder Years also. Not sure if they got rid of those shows forever, or if they're just rotating their lineup and expect them back soon.
Definitely sucks though... I loved that show. At least seasons 1 & 2 are coming out on DVD in February, which is more than you can say for the Wonder Years.

Perfect Strangers will be on DVD on Feb 6 season 1 and 2. Amazon is taking orders. It has been pulled from ION for low ratings is what I have heard. A coworker of mine told me he read it. So take that for what it is worth. I will just get the DVD's and forget ION's airing of the show.

Perfect Strangers will be on DVD on Feb 6 season 1 and 2. Amazon is taking orders. It has been pulled from ION for low ratings is what I have heard. A coworker of mine told me he read it. So take that for what it is worth. I will just get the DVD's and forget ION's airing of the show. Man, if that is true, it's impossible for me to comprehend how Mama's Family could possibly draw a bigger rating than Perfect Strangers. I just don't get how that show draws an audience... and certainly don't see how it appeals to more viewers than PS. Oh well. |

Carol Burnett's show was a huge hit in the 70's where the mama charactor came from so I could see how the ratings were higher if the ratings was a cause. |
