So apparently Jason Statham has signed to do Crank 2 to reprise the role of Chev again but this time a gangster puts an electrical heart in him that only works when it receives charges of electricity. Sounds so damn stupid.

Sounds awesome to me. I love Statham's movies. They're great popcorn flicks as long as you don't overthink them. Can't wait to check it out...

Sounds so damn stupid. So you started a thread just to bash the film that you haven't even seen one clip of yet? That's lame. Why make a thread just to badmouth something? Is YOUR opinion really that important to us all? We could have just read about it on your MySpace blog since we are all subscribers to it. Sounds awesome to me. I love Statham's movies. They're great popcorn flicks as long as you don't overthink them. Can't wait to check it out... EXACTLY. If he doesn't take himself or his roles too seriously, he could make a lot of great popcorn flicks. That's what was wrong with Seagal and Van Damme, and look what happened to them.

Actually I am one of few people that probably liked the first one neough to buy it. I thought it was pretty damn gritty and enjoyed the osundtrak immensely. What I don't get is why they would do a second one with a premise more absurd than the first one. The first one at least semi made sense because there are drugs that are similar to the one that they gave him. But this whole electric heart thing is just a tad much to go on. espeically since he died in the first one. What he lived the fall? Also just because someone starts a thread on something, does that always mean that the poster has to always be in agreeance with what their posting about? I guess everything you post is usually on the positive side and you never disagree with anything but if you do then you wouldn't post about it. I guess that is your style of posting, not mine.

He clearly didnt die at the end of the first one when it showed him blink.

That is not a clear showance of life. Blinking is involuntary and can be seen as just the final act of the body getting the twitches out. Bodies move in morgues everal hours after they are declared deceased. I didn't see it as a sign of life. I saw it as a final montage and at the same time while the boundaries of science fiction are always bent. I just find the idea of an electric heart absolutely ridiculous. I do not think that the bdy could sustain something like that. Of course stranger things happen. We are now at an age where it might be possible to produce stem cells from skin samples. Plus, I never said I wouldnt go see it. I just said it sounded stupid.

Judging by the non seriousness of the movie I thought the blink symboled that he was still alive.

It could have gone either way. Like stated before it was just one of those movies that I saw for pure entertainment. Kinda like how I might go see Punisher II: War Zone.

But why start a thread just to crap on something that you haven't even seen yet? Posting news is one thing. Posting your negative opinion on something no one has even seen a frame from yet is ridiculous. If you didn't like the first, then fine. With so many negative Nancies on here, if people posted like this, this whole freakin' board would be 90% negative crap. Why does there need to be a style of posting? If you have something post-worthy, cool. But if you are just posting to crapon something that hasn't even started production, that's lame.
