I figured that title would at least draw some attention. Pop music (as you can tell with the Michael Jackson post) is again becoming something interesting again to me.
I used to consider myself a pretty big metal fan, and I still do love hard rock, and pop used to be the musical demon no one would even touch or like without being shunned. Now after years of hating it, it's become something very enjoyable. It's always good to hear something more 'upbeat' rather than heavy about some morbid topic. Of course, all metal isn't morbid, but you get the point.
What are some of the best pop videos/artists in the last few years that you can think of?
By the way, I'm not gay in the slightest. Although I do hope many of you take it that way, it would be much more interesting. My favorite songs at the moment pop wise-
Madonna-Sorry- If you do happen to click into this, don't watch the video, it's horrible. The song is catchy as hell though. I never disliked Madonna, i've liked her since I heard the song "Music" and it was played on TRL back in the day. I figured it was for girls more than anything, and it definately isn't 'man' music, but it's awesome either way.
Justin Timberlake-Love/Stoned- This isn't the best song on his cd, but it's awesome only because the beginning sounds like it's from Legends of the Hidden Temple, which deserves a listen.
Nelly Furtado- Say it Right- I guess I have something for odd beats in music. I have always liked female vocalists, and although she is probably a copy of a hundered others, you can't deny how good her album is.
It's always great when people go through my cd case. They see Metallica, Dream Theater, Sonata Arctica.....Justin Timberlake, Opeth, A Perfect Circle, Nelly Furtado, Madonna ect..
