Watching Predators right now. Looks and sounds AWESOME on Blu-Ray. Then I might watch the Scream Awards which I recorded last night. I litrally cannot hate that film anymore. It's just one of the absolute worst films I've seen in my entire life (which does include a lot of films) and the worst movie of the year by a county mile, and this is coming from someone who saw The Last Airbender 3D (it was a free preview, mind). How could you hate it that badly? I mean worst comes to worst you could like it for the awesome Predator effects... or just seeing them on screen once more! Worst movie of the year is a tie between My Soul To Take and Dinner For Schmucks imo. POSTED my thoughts on Paranormal Activity 2 in its thread.. Just got back from the second one... really didnt enjoy it at all. The first one wasnt perfect but I did find it to have its moments. This one TOTALLY relies on the jump scares. The first one had some nice tension building up with the footsteps showing up in the hallway powder, and the chase to the attic and such.. but this one relies solely on things falling down or getting knocked over... which to me is just stupid. I thought the most interesting thing about the movie was the damn pool cleaner...

It's the only movie that, if I was on my own, I would have just got up and left about 50 minutes in. However, I was with a friend who wanted to see it, so I had to stick it out. I just hated everything about it. I'll try and dig up my post from the Predators thread a few months back. Atleast the only shitty movies you get in the US are just crappy horror flicks, whereas in the UK, we have to put up with all the Danny Dyer crap and shitty gangster movies. Eh. After Saw 3D, anything good coming out this year (horror wise)?

I requested off from work for Halloween so I plan on watching horror films all day that day. I can't wait ;D
MINOR SPOILER
I saw Paranormal Activity 2 last night and I must say, it's a fantastic prequel. I enjoyed the first one and thought it was pretty freaky, but for some reason I was more affected by the this film. I'm not the type who gets scared easily but when I got home last night, I made sure all the lights are on. When the film opens the audience meets this family who are really like-able and then as the weird occurences begin it's like a random noise, a light going on, pool cleaner being taken out of a pool (which was a very cool scene), and then as the film goes on the activity gets more intense. The last 10-15 minutes of the film was absolutely crazy and my heart was pounding. I'm not exaggerating when I say that. Easily gets a 9.5/10.
Basically if you liked the first film, you'll definitley like the second one.

Twist was kind of obvious but it still was cool seeing Steve Zahn(spelt right) on the big screen. Watching The Devils Rejects for my horror movie of the night! YES!!

A Perfect Getaway. Another movie I hate with a passion. I have to agree. I thought the twist was so obvious it ruined the whole thing for me.

Love the Full Moon movies. Subspecies is great. The Vampire Journal is really good too. One of my closest friend's brother plays one of the lead roles in 'Vampire Journals'. He's the dude with the long black hair. I got to meet him once, he's a nice fellow.

Almost on the 2nd page just a week from Halloween? Over my dead body!
My 3 year old son is bugging me to watch Monster Squad. He's already watched Dracula and The Wolf Man, I just can't decide if Monster Squad is going too far for someone his age.
