Hi,
I might be buying a 360 soon, i wanted to know if there is a Ethernet port on the 360 (I will be buying 360 arcade) so is there a Ethernet's port on the 360 so i can play 360 live? , also how can i hook it up? i have a regular Cable modem along with a 4 port wireless router, would i just take the Ethernet cable plug one end in the 360 and one ,in one of the ports of the wireless router? and another thing has anybody ever used a 360 wireless adapter? and if so how good is the connection
-Thank you for everybody that responds

It has an ethernet port on the back, so yeah, just plug it into one of the free openings on the router. I was forced to get a wireless deal yesterday, and it works fine. I've a had couple of times where I lost the signal, but I think that's more of an issue with my set up than of the item itself.

Not to take over this thread, what if my router only has one ethernet opening on my router and its taken by my comp. So what would I do to have it on my PS 3? Also is it easy to install Wi-Fi? And if anyone has any experience in it, please feel free to share.

It it only has one outlet, it's not a router, since it isn't "routing" anything, you need to buy a separate unit. A good wireless one you can find for 40 bucks.

I'm presuming the 360 comes with an ethernet cord? roughly how long is it?
my 360 is going to be on the other side of the room from the router. -_-

It's actually a pretty good size in length, probably about 15 ft.

Blah, I'm pretty sure 15ft would just stretch across my room, haha. Looks like I'll have to rearrange my stuff.

I just had to pick up one of those. It feels like Microsoft raped with with the antenna of the thing after you shell out the hundred bucks for it, but I guess it's worth it overall.

I'm not sure how pricing goes, but LinkSys has always been good to me when I use them.

Yeah, Linksys is the standard, and unless you a super tech savvy person, it's probably the best router you can buy, especially on a budget.

Does X-Box 360 Arcade come with a ethernet cord? I only got two cords with it...The power bar and the Audio, Sound and visual cord.
