Poor Maxim, they want to look cool. I mean, I can understand maybe dropping one of those three, but all of them......and Lost Planet as one of the best games of the year? Come one now.

I'm not even going to bother looking at that list, but I bet it contains pictures of a slew of butterfaces in swimsuits "playing" the games, and probably listed Manhunt 2 as the best game ever. Would not shock me at all.

I love Galaxy more than my own family and all, but a deep story? What the  ? Anyway, that list was actually better than I was expecting. I've played next to nothing this year so I can't really say much. GHIII should have been lower - despite it being a lot of fun, it didn't really do much to expand the series. |

If you think Halo as a franchise is done, you are sorely, sorely, mistaken. The Halo trilogy that Bungie started with Halo: Combat Evolved on the Xbox is over. Halo isn't. |

The list is alright. Mass Effect is EXTREMELY over-rated. Maybe it should be 7, tops, but I'm not really that surprised it's not there. Lost Planet.. not even going to comment, and finally I'm happy The Darkness is getting recognition. It is by-far the most under-rated game of 2007. The rest of the list is alright, but maybe Halo should have been 2 or 3.

Rock Band and Halo 3 didn't make it? I'm absolutely baffled. Then again, this isn't a game magazine, so I suppose they really didn't do much research.
