Back in 1997 I would never miss a show...not even Livewire or Shotgun. I had a hard time staying awake to even watch Shotgun, so I'd always tape it and then watch it before Superstars came on. When I'd go on vacations I'd set a bunch of tapes up so that I wouldn't miss the weeks worth of programming. Back then it had to do with me being a kid (10 years old), a new fan, and simply because 1997 was an amazing chapter in pro-wrestling history. It was a good time to be a fan. Now that I'm older I'm not into it as much as I used to be. It's definitely of some importance, and while I do try to watch whenever I can, I won't blow off a Friday night with friends just to watch Smackdown...especially with a leprechaun and a big doofus as champion. I still buy the figures, some shirts, dvds, and the video games. It's been tough to remain as a fan since my cousin moved away and stopped watching/collecting, and then most of my other friends either moved away or I lost contact with. Wrestling is much funner when you have a bunch of friends to talk about it with...I guess that's why I'm on WF. There. You summed me up better than I could. I never thought about it like that (with friends making it better), because all of my friends stopped watching in 2002. I'm the only one left.

From late 1996 to 2004 it used to be my life...it was even more important then freinds....but now I grew out of it, not saying it's a bad thing if anyone still like's it, but I just can't get into it like I once did. same here but with me its been since 1993 - 2004. Wrestling will never be the same. the people who led our generation were names like; The Rock, Stone Cold, Triple H, The Rock, Scott hall, Kevin Nash, Hulk Hogan, Macho Man, X-pac, Shawn Michaels, Bret Hart, Hardy's at there prime, Dudleys, Mr. Perfect, Sting and so many more. the people for this generation are; Lashley, Cena, Punk. Go figure

It used to be a lot bigger part of me, but not so much anymore. I still have a love for it though.

Not AS important as it used to be( WCW days), but it's still a big part of my life.

I used to watch wrestling religously. Now I only watch Raw, ECW, and TNA. Most of the time I watch PPV's. I dont watch SD, where as I used to love it. Wrestling has completely died since 2003 imo. When I saw that Triple H video package last night, it really made me remember how much I ing miss WRESTLING....not the crap we our forced to watch now.

From 99-02 and then like 03-04 it was the most important thing ever. Now? I don't really care about it.

It's consumed my life since 1997, but if I didn't start watching ROH back in 2004, I probably wouldn't be watching any wrestling anymore.
