I've been a wrestling fan since I was at least 3 or 4 years old, so I would have to say it's been a pretty big part of my life for the last 15 years.
It's not nearly as important as it was to me when I was younger, say, 7 to 8 years ago, but I still try to catch Raw every now and then and purchase 2 or 3 ppvs a year. Right now, WWE reminds me of the mid-to-late 90's, with a mix of the New Generation Era and the Early Attitude Era days where all age groups can enjoy it. It's hard for me to enjoy a lot of the newer stuff, but I can put in an old WM, Royal Rumble or whatever and enjoy some of my favorites from years ago.
As much as I could try to avoid it and say that I'm growing out of watching wrestling, I still try to keep updated on things since it's what I've always done, I guess. But, yeah, wrestling is still kind of important to me, just not as much as Family or other things I have going on in my life.

Back in 1997 I would never miss a show...not even Livewire or Shotgun. I had a hard time staying awake to even watch Shotgun, so I'd always tape it and then watch it before Superstars came on. When I'd go on vacations I'd set a bunch of tapes up so that I wouldn't miss the weeks worth of programming. Back then it had to do with me being a kid (10 years old), a new fan, and simply because 1997 was an amazing chapter in pro-wrestling history. It was a good time to be a fan. Now that I'm older I'm not into it as much as I used to be. It's definitely of some importance, and while I do try to watch whenever I can, I won't blow off a Friday night with friends just to watch Smackdown...especially with a leprechaun and a big doofus as champion. I still buy the figures, some shirts, dvds, and the video games. It's been tough to remain as a fan since my cousin moved away and stopped watching/collecting, and then most of my other friends either moved away or I lost contact with. Wrestling is much funner when you have a bunch of friends to talk about it with...I guess that's why I'm on WF.

I think Its very important to my life cause it lets me get away from all the troubles in the world and enjoy something that matters to me. Amen to that. And as OverTheEdge said, it's pretty much my life. I love wrestling, always have, always will, and no matter how bad anything may get, I'll always love it. If you're a true fan, it's not something you'll "grow out of" or whatever..

I will always like wrestling. However it is not nearly as huge as it used to be for me. It is still something that I care about. I go to every wrestling show that I can go to, buy the t-shirts of my favorite wrestler and I can see me caring about it for a very long time. The reason it's not nearly as huge as it used to be is because the overall product of the WWE and TNA aren't nearly as good as it was when I first started watching. If I was just starting to be a wrestling fan then I think it would be much harder for me to like wrestling...

It's not that important to me anymore. I remember I used to hate myself if I missed an episode of RAW back then, not I can miss it all the time and it won't bother me.

Wrestling is what it is. Its a TV show its entertainment. Its not real life and its not as inportant as your friends and family job etc. Why not? It can inspire people to want to reach their dreams in life.

Doesnt really mean much to me whatsoever anymore with the state its in. Its all buried in the past with the WWF. I pay attention to a couple Superstars and that’s about it. Its all oldschool for me, my old tapes and memories of when it was good and actually meant something, is where its at. Wrestling is what it is. Its a TV show its entertainment. Its not real life and its not as inportant as your friends and family job etc. Go write a book.

It actually means more to me during the harder parts of my life. Like right now after my gf and i broke up ive had a SUPER hard time getting over her. Wrestling in whatever way, raw, smackdown, figures or wwe 24/7 helps me get my mind of things.

Very little the past year. Like I'll watch it if I have absolutely nothing else to do and I'll order Royal Rumble, WrestleMania, and SummerSlam, but that's as far as I go.

Did Charles Barkley just post out of character? For many years wrestling was basically as important to me as important gets, but other things in my life has topped it in recen years. Wrestling is still big to me though.

My life, priorities are like this: 1. Friends/Family 2. School 3. Working Out 4. Wrestling 5. Everything Else
So it's not really that high on the list anymore.

I love wrestling. I absolutely love it. I eat, sleep, and breathe wrestling. It's all I think about. It's all I really talk about. I am constantly thinking of angles, storylines, characters. I love old wrestling, new wrestling, crappy wrestling, good wrestling.
I was born to be a pro wrestler. When I am in the ring, it just feels right. It feels like I've been in there my entire life. It is my desire. It is my calling.
When I was in the third grade, everyone wrote a report on what they wanted to be when they grew up. I wrote that I wanted to be a pro wrestler. I was given an F, because I "needed to pick a real profession". Yeah. That teacher was a bitch.
I have a fiancee who I love dearly. She understands my obsession with wrestling. Hell, she's helping me fulfill my dream of becoming a wrestler. I can't wait until the first time I step into that ring, and hear the bell, because that means that I have finally made it. I have finally reached my destiny.

Dwindling with each day. I don't watch WWE anymore because of what they are now-a-days, and TNA and ROH can only take you so far.
MMA is getting bigger and bigger worldwide, and I've caught the bug.
