my thoughts on what would help the wwe.
listen to the fans. seriously, they try to ram bland stars down your throat when stars that are already over are overlooked. when booker t was a face a few years ago and did the whole spinnarooni thing and always yelled sucka!, he was extremely over, but always lost his high profile matches and no world title run. matt hardy gets a thunderous applause every week and continues to stay at mid-card level. he's not any smaller than hbk and given the opportunity, could probably put on a relly good title match. same goes for jeff. cm punk gets major pops and the ecw belt is given to nitro and then they name him john morrison. please. i just think, when the audience decides they really like someone or really dislikes someone(heel heat), go with it.
like kahli, sure he's huge, but he's not really over as a heel or a face. when kane first lost his mask and he lit jr on fire and they would wheel him out on the cart like hannibal lecter, that would have been the perfect time for a heel title run, but they dropped the ball on that one too. i just wonder what they are thinking some of the time. oh well, just my thoughts anyway.

Basicly you want Vince to not play favourites or let politics decide who should be champion. I agree with the idea completely.

Well Matt showed last night that his mic skills are awful. Now Jeff, he has the high-fly, risktaker persona that the fans would love to see in the main event scene. I don't think CM Punk is anything more than a good IC Heel Champ.

your missing the point. whether matts mic skills are good or bad, the FANS like him, that's what matters. he was just an example anyway. lashleys horrible on the mic too and he's pushed to the moon. sure he's huge and has an awesome physique, but so does cor von. whether us internet fans like them or hate them, or whether their good wretlers or crappy wrestlers, i'm just saying go with what the crowd wants and wrestling would be even more popular than it is.

Will you guys just get over the point that you dont work for WWE. WWE doesent listen to what the fans want, i figured that one out a long time ago. And matt, and jeff will never touch the WWE, or World Heavyweight championship.

I didn't say Lashley deserved his push but tbh, Matt as champ would get boring after a while. He wouldn't be able to hold it down in promos. If you take a look back at some old champions, they had great mic skills; Steve Austin, The Rock, Chris Jericho, & Mankind. They all have godlike mic skills and entertained the fans. I can see Matt getting a small reign but he doesn't have the charisma to last as champ.

But they can't make every champ a face. One of the main things in pro wrestling is developing a story between a heel and face. If CM Punk, Jeff Hardy and Matt Hardy become champions, then there's just gonna be disappointment when they lose their titles. And also, given a bit of time to develop his mic skills, John Morrison could turn out to be an amazing champion.

Like Edge has and Triple H and HBK can have. It's really characters more than face or heel. Most wrestlers these days have very generic characters which aren't very intresting. 'Taker, Edge, Cena, Carlito and a few others are about the only intresting developed characters in the company.

I don't think Lashley should have ever been world champion but he was the most over person on the ECW brand at the time, minus RVD who didn't win the title for obvious reasons and Big Show was leaving so he needed to lose the title somehow. I personally, although I'm a big Matt fan, don't think Matt should win a world title because of his lack of mic skills, he should be US champ however because he is seriously over enough.

i agree that vince should let the fans applause determine who is the champ instead of politics but i don't exactly think morrison being the champion is a bad thing he is a great performer

What the WWE really needs is competition and until TNA gets there and becomes a proper national level rival to the WWE, we'll have to put up with this poor state of affairs.

i think morrison is a great performer as well. i just thought the gimmick change was kind of lame. they could have come up with something better than that. he has a strong future though, as do kennedy, elijah, cm punk, mvp, cody rhodes, carlito and others.

I'm enjoying WWE at the moment, it could be better but it's not at it's worst.

Just because the fans like Jeff Hardy doesnt mean he should hold the title. Granted, neither should Lashley.

they didn't have a flock of internet fans to cater during the attitude era, which was why they were so layed back.

Sounds to me like someone is just bitchy because Jeff Hardy will never be WWE Champion.
Seriously, no. If they just base the champions based on who the fans like, we'd never have a heel champion.
