Juggy, this game's replay value is incredible. Since Fi-Pro for the GBA is your favorite, wait until you get Fi-Pro R. Fire Pro Wrestling Returns is video game wrestling Nirvana. It's absolutely the best wrestling sim.
I would definitely go with the flip-top, and swap magic discs. It's really not that difficult to install. When all that's done you will be putting so many hours into this game. You will constantly be tweaking, altering, and editing your Fi-Pro R. You can even pick one of the matches for the demo screen. It can be a 1 vs 1, 2 vs 2, 3 vs 3, or 4 vs 4.
Remember to print out that translation guide. It's the best.

How do I install the english patch? You said you'd rather pay for SVR 07 than this game. And you asked me where to download it. Seriously, if you think SVR 07 would be better than this game, just stay away from the Fire Pro Series as a whole.

You arent listening to me. . . They said earlier ask you how to get ahold of it. . I know where to buy it, but I thought they went earlier that you would give the download link :/ I was going to say I WASTED my money on SvR and I was going to sell it to buy this game on AIM, but you were a dick and blocked me.

Well keep in mind this is taken with a digi-cam, not screen captured or anything. Graphics aren't that bad, you get used to it.

Dean, the videos kick ass. It's only a short couple weeks till I get X-mas money and spend it on a fliptop and whatnot. I can't wait to play Fire Pro. I beat the Smackdown game in no time. I need to sell it or something, it's just sitting there.

Okay, this game looks soo cool. How would I get it? Do I buy it, for like GBA or PS2 or whatever, or is it like, a computer thing where you download it onto an emulator or whatever?

I've been playing Fire Pro games for quite some time now (believe I got 6MS in 98 or so) and while its certainly a fantastic wrestling game, it has one major flaw; once you master the timing of the grapples the game is trivial and starts to drain the fun right out. I mean on level 10 difficulty I could beat Jumbo Tsuruta in less than 3 minutes with just about any body. But until that point, BY FAR its the best wrestling game you can get your hands on. I also recommend picking up King of Colosseum 2, another great wrestling game by Spike. At least the learning curve is a little steeper in KoC so it would last you a bit longer.
You need to import it (play-asia.com is a good site) and have a modded PS2 (mod chip or flip top with swap magic discs). If you do wind up getting the GBA games, just realize they are pretty watered down in comparison to the console games. Still good games though.

Really, does it have death matchs? KOC 2 is a sim of non-garbage Puro...so no.

UltraMantis Black edit I downloaded: Shane Storm edit I downloaded and then completely re-did: Hallowicked edit I downloaded and then completely re-did: How do you download edits and whatnot? I still need to get everything but I was curious. Any help from Dean, ICONS, or anyone who knows is appreciated.

Legit Nick Maniwa, you will need a max drive and 2 memory cards. You stick the max drive into a usb slot on your computer. You then download the save from www.fireproclub.com/ then transfer the save onto you max drive. Stick the max drive into your PS2, download the save onto a memory card. Play your Fi-Pro R, in one of the option menus it allows you to transfer caws, and logos from one memory card to the other memory card. So, you can keep editing your memory card, and just add certain caws, and logos from someone else's save.
