I don't understand why this game doesn't have an official thread. I've gotten like 15 PM's about it, one thread to talk about it would be great. I've posted some pics and stuff in the Indy Chat Thread, but it would be much better if we could get everything in one thread. I mean, it will probably just be me and ICONS who have it, but tons of people should learn about it and buy the game. If the mod is alright with this, I think it would be a great introduction to the game, just like the No Mercy Thread.

Nope, I've had it barely two months and am already on a difficulty level of 6/7 out of 10. It's easier than SmackDown in a lot of ways, but it's totally different so you have to learn a lot.

Some other crapI posted in the Indy Chat thread:

Two nights ago in Fire Pro Returns I had the best match I've ever played in a video game.

Danielson Vs. McGuinness for the title, I was Danielson defending the belt against Nigel.

And for the first time EVER, my opponent took EVERYTHING I threw at them, and Nigel still wouldn't go down.

I pinned Cabana in a previous match at 17:39 or something with a roll-up, and thought the same would happen with Nigel. And was I wrong.

I mean, he either kicked out or escaped EVERY SINGLE THING I use to finish matches with Danielson.

Super Back Suplex- check.
Steamroller to Diving Headbutt- check.
Dragon Suplex- check.
Roaring Elbow- check.
Crossface Chickenwing- check.
Regal Suplex- check.
Cattle Mutilation- check.
USB ELBOWS -CHECK.

Now, the USB elbows are awesome in FPR. It isn't the same exact position Danielson does them from, but it goes into a front mount and just starts nailing the guy with elbows. Now, the best part is that it works like a submission, not just "mounted punching" in SD or whatever. So when I got Nigel in the elbows, usually my last resort move, and the ref came over to check, I thought that was it. Nope, he got out after the ref checked him twice.

I finally got him in a second Cattle Mutilation at like 24 something, and made him tap. Amazingly fun.

Honestly, if you are any type of fan on independent or Japanese wrestling, buy this game as fast as you can.

Eh, that did not turn out how I wanted it too. Plus, the matches were set on a CPU difficulty of 4, than 5, than 6. So I don't think the results are truly accurate. I controlled the following:

Davey Richards (W)
BJ Whitmer (W)
Matt Sydal (W)
Nigel McGuinness (W)
Roderick Strong (W)
Bryan Danielson (L)

And in the finals I was Richards, but I wasn't really paying attention to what he was doing, more or less watching for someone else to be eliminated so I could write down the move.

So what we learned was that I should pay attention and maybe play on a higher difficulty.

This game sounds SICK. How are entances on there? What are they like?

Holy hell! I just checked out the Deathmatches on that game. Awsome man.

The entrances are blah, a non-factor. They are like 3 seconds long and I turned them off.

This is the best wrestling game of all time. The Edit modes are limitless, you can literally have any match imaginable, due to 500 Edit spots and 327 base wrestlers in-game.

This game looks amazing I want to get it. Now since this game is an import, will it work on the traditional PS 2 or does it have to be modded up?

So are ROH and all these feds and wrestlers actually in the game? Are there also Japanese wrestlers along with New Japan, All Japan, etc like the old Fire Pro's? Also where would I go about getting this game and what system is it for? If its for PS2 do I need to get it modded or anything?

Answers to these questions would be awesome.

I've had this game since January and it's pretty much been the only game I've played since, awesome game. I wish I had a few saves though, such as an ROH ring, and a few TNA/ROH wrestlers as my problem is, I can create the guys appearance pretty much great, then when it comes to the logic and move sets, I just can't be bothered with it.
