Today is Super Tuesday all across America. For those of you who don't follow politics and the foreigners on this board, there are 24 of our 50 great states holding primaries today. Half of the delegates for the Dems are in play and the Republicans have about 40% of their delegates up for grabs in primaries today.
By the end of tonight we should have a very good idea of who will be the candidates for each party. McCain seems to be holding a lead over Romney and Clinton and Obama are in a very, very close race.
I don't care for Clinton at all, but I think she's a much easier candidate for the Republicans to beat in the general election. Obama is still (in my mind) an unknown. McCain may well be the Republicans best choice to nominate even though he's much farther to the left than their base.

I side with Romney. BUT.......just to keep Hilary out of the White House.......I might back Barrack. He leads right now with 63 delegates to Hilary's 48. As much as I think a Republican has a better chance to win over Hilary than Barrack.....I really dont even want to risk it. I pray Obama gets the democratic nod.

Dems want Huckabee, because they would shred him to pieces.

I'll be extremely disappointed if Obama doesn't get it. I originally was stuck between him and Edwards, and decided to back Obama. I even volunteered for his Iowa campaign. I had some great experiences doing so. I've met him every time he came to town. He's pretty much everything I could want in a candidate.
I'll vote for Hillary if she does get the nomination though.

Honestly I think McCain would be the easiest to beat. All the Dems have to do is show the American people just how similar he is to president Bush by showing is voting record.
Bush's approval ratings are in the 30's, if they can successfully point out the shared policies of him and McCain along with his age(out of touch) they should easily beat him.

Exit poll
Make the best Commander in Chief
Hillary 50%
Barack 35%
I think 'who would be the best commander in chief' is an important question. Hillary beats Barack. I think it is important that we elect based on that.
On MSNBC, they said "Close your eyes and imagine who you want in a national emergency."
And I believe that would be Hillary. I would want her in a crisis. I'd want someone who is ready on day one.
Haven't seen the Republican exit polls yet.

Well, considering Edwards is out, you don't have to worry about him.

I would want her in a crisis. I'd want someone who is ready on day one. Haven't seen the Republican exit polls yet. In a national emergency, the last person I want is Hilary. First off.....during any type of emergency.....I am gonna want a Republican leader. Most Democrats are a lot of show and tell. They put on a good show, but dont back anything up. I'm not trying to run one political party down. So I definitely do not want to get into a debate over it. I am simply stating my opinion and the reason why. If I had to choose a Democrat, I would have taken John Edwards. Unfortunately, I think most Democrats find him to be too bi partisan and thats why he is out. I agree that McCain is very much like Bush. I supported Bush, but there are a few things that I dont particularly care for with McCain. McCain has too much of an old school of thinking. Romney has the most in common with my political views. Though at the beginning of this thing, I was with Giuliani. But with his family history and the Republican "moral value compass" he is out. Please dont get me wrong, as I may be a Republican, its only cuz I agree with more of their stances than Democrats. Though I find both parties to be flawed and it really comes down to choosing between two very different evils. And speaking of evil, Hilary Clinton about epitomizes that evil. Not only does she make for a piss poor leader, but she can never pick a point of view. She flip flops more than well...flip flops.
